Peakmilk, na beg we dey beg - find us good coach as soon as possible. We have a great crop of players coming through, we CAN'T AFFORD TO NOT QUALIFY FOR 2018. Siasia, please pick the best players eligible for the u23...this upcoming Olympics will be very very important for us to begin blending in players.
Anyone who paid this mgbeke 5k for a follow back deserves to have his manhood pass revoked or even better, castrated. Opened this ish thinking it'd be some pretty girl.
TheGoodJoe: When did Lewandowski play as a number 10 and who was the number nine in those games.
By the way, other strikers can make runs but who is better at making those runs. There is no way you can rate first touch and hold up play over a player who makes the team more fluid.
Lewandowski does those more than Messi but Messi is a better attacker than Lewandowski.
Lucas Barrios played as a 9. Lewandowski first season at bvb was as a number 10. Lewandowski is much more than just first touch and hold up play. Aguero is only more fluid because of his low center of gravity. Lewandowski can be plan A & B of a team.
TheGoodJoe: Yeah. Giroud is more Skillful than Messi. It is just that he does not show it.
There is no way at all that Lewandowski is close to Aguero in skills. That one is not up for debate.
He does not have a better technical ability than Aguero. This is not thinking. Aguero used to play as a creative attacking midfielder for Independiente and Atletico Madrid. He was magnificent. One of the best.
Lewandowski can not think of trying it.
Skill as in footwork?? No way is Aguero more skillful than Lewandowski. Like I said, he has a better touch than Aguero. You're forgetting Lewandowski also played as a number 10 in his first season at bvb. I agree he way not be as fluid as aguero, but he can play as a target man and also make runs in behind the defence. He's a complete number 9.
Is Lewandowski a better footballer? Does Lewandowski work harder than Aguero. When things get tough, Aguero drops deep to motivate his team. Aguero scores goals in tight situation. Aguero can take on two or three men easier than Lewandowski.
So why would you want Lewandowski ahead of Aguero.
He's a better classic 9. Better hold up play, better touch and better finishing.
TheGoodJoe: I still put Aguero ahead of Lewandowski. Aguero has the ability to take on defenders and score more Solo goals than both Lewandowski and Benzema.
As for Zlatan. I think it is a case of preference but I still take Aguero.
I doubt you can find a bloggers list that will put Lewandowski or Benzema above Aguero.
Lewandowski is also skillful...just doesn't show it. I think he also has better technical ability than Aguero and is a more clinical finisher.
This fool can't even run a club well yet he wants to be nff chairman?? slowpoke is acting like it's his birthright to be nff chairman. These are the type of people Niger Delta Avengers and Boko Haram should be targeting.
Mickael2: Injuries reduced his goal stats and penalties inflated it. Do you know how many penalties he has scored this season? For me he is no where near the best strikers in this planet, my top 10 would be: 1) Suarez clearly 2) Benzema, quite underated 3) Lewandowski, enough said 4) Aubeumeyang, wrong spelling 5) Griezman, underated too 6) Higuain, underated 7) Zlatan, enough said Kane, a little raw but ok 9) maybe this is where I can insert Aguero. Don't get me wrong, he is good but world class? Far from it, you mentioned his goal against QPR, for Christ's sake QPR?! Queen's Park Rangers! Tell me one good defender they have! Taiwo? Onuoha? I think they also came with Bassong then. Yeah, he scored 16goals in 17 games, none against Leichester, none against Tottenham, how many against Arsenal? How many against Manu? There is a reason why Man City had the worst record against the top 6 teams and that's because their starman did not deliver then, and Yaya is now too old to cover for him when it matters
Looool you're putting harry kane and aubamayeng ahead of Aguero? Now this is funny. Only 3 strikers on that list are better than Aguero.
kokaneprodigy: What's the essence of strong defence without goals, you want to turn us to manure (specialist in goalless draw) we clinched the golden glove last season that says something about our defence. Athletico arguably have very good defensive record last season but their attack let them down in big games.Hence their defence yielded to pressure and they ended the season trophyless. If the attack is very good ur opponents will be scared of coming out to pressurize you it works for Barca, it kinda worked for us a bit but what let us down is our terrible finish courtesy Giroud. Wenger should get a striker, that's the priority.
The reverse could be the case as well. What's the point of getting a striker if we keep conceding goals. You want us to be like liverpool of 13/14 season?? Yes a striker is priority, but wenger has neglected the cb position for so long it has now become a problem. Kos and per will be 31 and 32 this September. Gabriel is still raw and Wenger doesn't trust chambers as a cb. We need a world class cb and someone to replace Monreal if possible. Ricardo Rodriguez would certainly improve our buildup play from the back and is by far a better crosser than any fb we have.
TheGoodJoe: You are lucky to witness a lot of the great players of the past. I heard of the Yugoslav team which had Prosinecki who was the best player of the World Youth Championship.
They were part of the Croatian team of France '98.
Why I admired your list is because it deviated from the popular demand stars like Figo, Rivaldo, Ronaldo De Lima, Michael Laudrup.
Impressed. I started following club football from 1998 passionately so I witnessed most of these great players. Recoba is definitely in my top five players.
Great era of football. Football today lack artistry of those guys. Men like Giggs and Overmars who could tear players down the left all night.
My favorite sha, is a popular demand player. Diego Maradona.
Stills shocked you know Dhorasoo. Very few acknowledge his massive gift. Watched lots of him at Olympique Lyon.
Loved Recoba as well. The first time I watched him was one game where he came in as a sub, created a goal (ironically for Obafemi Martins) and scored the winning goal in injury time. From then, I went back and watched the old inter milan matches my elder bro recorded on vhs. That was how I got to watch peak R9 and found out he was the most skillful striker ever. Recoba was def my favorite left footed player ever...world class talent but poor mentality.
JAYTUNEZ: Top Nigerian/US rapper, Wale has opened up on Nigerian music with particular focus on Wizkid.
In an interview with Factory 78, he said he tried to get Wizkid signed on to Roc Nation way before he became a global brand.
He also said he feels Drake copied Wizkid's style on his hit track on Views album, One Dance..
Wizkid is credited as a co-producer on the track so it could mean he wrote part of the lyrics.. Wale said;
I would like to hear more of Wizkid.I would like to hear more of Wizkid on one dance.I could hear more control. It sounds like Wizkid's song.He sounded like Wizkid on that song. The lyrics, the style everything,.I mean he is a phenomenal writer but I just feel like he sounds like Wizkid on that song..
On Nigerian music,he said
I'm proud of Davido and Wizkid and Olamide. There is alot of dope artists coming out right now .
.I knew it was gonna get there. I mean,Nigeria got like a whole 60 % of the swag in Africa. I always knew .I remember bringing the idea of signing Wizkid to Roc nation to the guys out there .Like early on. It was way before this time. I knew it was gon get there. I got like 7 songs on the internet with him. If I had held on to him back then,it would have been a different story.
I said the same thing the first time I heard that song...Wizkid definitely wrote that song. Wizkid stands a better chance of making it big in the states than Davido.
Jarus: It's not a new position. 2 people have done it in the past, lasting a year. They ended up better for it and the experience they gained from us aided their crossing to better places, which we encourage. One quit because he was going for NYS9n the other because he got Access Bank job which we encouraged her on.
By the way, we have more than 20 applications already - all graduates, contray to the ND that we requested.
It's not a matter of stingy boss by the way. No business pays more than it can afford or more than it makes.
Oga Jarus, you are one patient man. I wonder why you're wasting your time explaining anything to these guys sha.
Lies.com...This took place somewhere in Ghana and the guy was flogged because he disrespected an elder or something. Dumb bloggers will be posting false news just to get traffic..
Spy360: How about Alvaro Morata for £38m. Worth it?
Cc Pataki, Proudlysport, Roland17, Edi287, Kokaneprodigy, sod09
Definitely...when you consider manure got Martial for 36m. He has a great goal per minute ratio and will only get better. He's superb on the counter and would bring fluidity to our Frontline.
I remember when @goodjoe said Nacho would make a better striker than midfielder and people didn't agree. This seems to settle it. His finishing is better than I ever imagined.
Man, I watched that guy and he is hot. So skillful, intelligent and direct. I suspect he is not at Chelsea because of Work Permit issues but I see him breaking into Chelsea soon.
A lot of Chelsea fans do not know the amount of work put into developing young players there. That is why I will continue to respect Emenalo.
The guy has Belgian citizenship; doesn't need work permit. I pray Arsenal signs the guy since Chelsea don't know what they have.
