That's exactly where my very focus is centered first of all.

I feel like doing a "Kaduna Nzeogwu" in Nigeria's football world.

I'm that crazzyyy right now!!!
For real!!! Getting tired of these failed politicians that know nothing about football claiming to be football administrators. Sack them all and get people like Odegbami in. Enough is enough.
Sports › Re: Did The Transfer Of Captaincy Affect Musa's Performance? by edi287: 10:33pm On Mar 29, 2016
Musa was never Captain material to begin with. I can understand the rationale behind Oliseh naming him captain, but Musa simply doesn't have the personality. Enyeama was the perfect captain and it's unfortunate that he left the way he did.

Neocolonialism is Hector Cuper, an Italian, coaching Egypt to the Nation's Cup?

What about Bernd Storck, a German, coaching HUngary?

What about Vladimir Petković, from Bosnia, coaching Switzerland?

What about Marcel Koller, from Switzerland, coaching Austria?

Let's stop deceiving ourselves, desperate times call for desperate actions.
You seem to be forgetting the fools we have at NFF.
I agree we need a foreign coach, but do you honestly trust those morons to hire a good coach?? How are we going to pay them?
NFF is the REAL problem here. Peakmilk has turned out to be all bark and no bite. I'd take Maigari over this mugu and that's saying much.

90s was awesome. Wish I was a teenager then. Good thing I had elder brothers and sister to pass on the awesomeness from that era.

Which Moses plays as 9?? Answer is "None".

Both will have to come from the wings.

The #9 in that attacking trio would be Nacho. That's why I put it as a "double moses + Iheanacho" combo assault.

Aaron Samuel as #9 in place of Ighalo? Hmm... That's another possibility but Aaron also plays with power and pace (akin to Ighalo). He isn't creative or dynamic enough to take part in creative build-up play. He's certainly a beast (one of his CSKA moscow teammates likened him to Solomon Rondon of Westbrom because of their beast-like styles of play) but he's also not inventive enough.

Besides, Will Siasia play Aaron Samuel in Alexandria? I really don't know but I don't think he will. Samuel didn't even make the "matchday bench" against Egypt in Kaduna.
I get what you're saying....that's why I asked which Moses starts off as a 9. I don't think Nacho is ready to play as a number 9 yet for us. I'd rather start Musa ahead of nacho. If you want fluidity, a S.Moses - Musa - V Moses front line should do it with Nacho/Iwobi playing just behind.
Sports › Re: Super Eagles Of Nigeria Thread: 2017 AFCON Qualifiers. by edi287: 3:20pm On Mar 27, 2016
TheGoodJoe:

He said attacking trio, like Neymar, Messi and Suarez. We want and expect a S. Moses, Iheanacho and Victor Moses combination.

Also, if you play Aaron Samuel, you lose the fluid passing movement up front. Aaron Samuel needs the midfield to create for him to perform. He rarely participates in the build up play.

With Iheanacho, we have a player who can drop deep like Suarez or Messi when they play up front do, combine with the midfield and Wingers to unlock stubborn defenses.
Oh I get you....just feel Nacho might not be physical enough to handle those aggressive Egyptians(who will be pumped up as ever for the game.). Aaron Samuels aggressive style of play might be more useful than subtlety that nacho would add as a 9.

In the light of the above discussion.....

...One question does come to mind... Will Coach Samson Siasia have the balls to drop Ighalo in favor of the "Double Moses +Iheanacho" attacking trio assault with An Iwobi behind them and with Mikel and Onazi behind Iwobi?

I'll really love to see Ighalo dropped just for this Alexandria encounter. He's a very good striker but isn't inventive enough (though can stun opponents on his day). But will it happen?

Siasia, over to you...
Which Moses plays as a 9?? Don't think nacho should play as one yet.
I'd rather Aaron Samuel starts

Alaba was the biggest miss of them all. It would've been understandable if he was overlooked for a more talented local player, but noooooooooo it was for some age cheat who was probably in his late 20s to early 30s.
Adebayor apparently tried out for the flying eagles back in the day.

Siasia should have been more patient to allow iwobi have his debut in the second leg in Egypt. Moses simon was keeping Egypt very busy before he went off.

I hope siasia learn so fast. Football is becoming too psychological these days.
Agreed. He should've saved the last sub for injury time. Though if V Moses had scored, iwobi would've had an assist.

Even when he (Giroud)gets a good day I've always maintained he is not an arsenal quality.
Once we face an opponent with a high defensive line Giroud gets useless.
He wouldn't have scored that iwobi's goal if he had received the ball in that exact position. A typical Giroud will initiate hold up play or gets frustrated and kicks the ball from there... smh vigorously.
Even Wenger knows he's not good enough to be first choice but stingy Wenger messed up the Suarez and Higuain deals hence we're stuck with him.

If we go as a whole Nigeria is not far from England in graduating top professionals. They have players in one country we have players all over the world.
