Abeg my people is abou diaby still a registered Arsenal player or he is now a steward at the club?
If he is still at Arsenal then I think it's about time I make known my theory about him. Here is my theory:
I think abou diaby's parents were working for Arsene wenger's elder brother who trained him. I believe arsene's brother really enjoyed their services and when Arsene was of age and was making things happen for himself, His brother entrusted him the son of the Diaby's for him to take care as a way of repaying the years of quality services his parents have rendered to the wenger household. Arsene being a man who keeps his words has since made sure abou earns a decent living as a footballer even when he doesn't kick a ball for a whole year.
Na joke o. .;.:
Forget diaby is a good player....injuries have messed him up.
I heard he's not been collecting wages while injured. Shame really.

Coquelin is good, very good and I have been a fan for many years now since watching him play for the youth team.

That said, saying we don't need a DM because of Coquelin is the reason why we are always fighting for 4th position year in year out. He's only played a quarter of a season. Let's give him time to learn. ManCity had Yaya, still they brought in Fernadinho and as if that wasn't enough, last season they brought in Fernando.
I am sure AW recognises this and he will bring in a DM during the summer transfer window. Arteta and Flamini are already showing signs of old age.
Many don't know that Coquelin was named amongst the flops of the season i Germany last year (although I can excuse him for that but still shows he is in a developmental stage and not yet ready to be that player who will carry Arsenal over a whole season. See Wilshere, Denilson).

Coquelin in my opinion still needs to fight for that position with an equally good if not better DM.
Exactly. Lack of depth has been one of the issues we've had. Bringing in someone like schnederlin or kondogbia would be a good idea as both can also play alongside Coq.
Regarding Coq loan stint at feiburg last season, he was played as a winger; so its understand able.

Re: Francis Coquelin
If you ask me who is responsible for the high level of confidence being exuded at the Arsenal today....
Man of the match at Man Utd, Arsene would not need to sign a DM anymore.
Those who rebranded him Le Coq should be eating their words now.
Debosky, Piacenza, Naijababe, Elfenomeno, Edi, Roland et al.
So what happens if he gets injured??
Le Coq has always been his nickname.

rusher14:
Hell no... I woulld rather have Cazorla retire at Arsenal. Until we find another Alex Hleb or the likes Wenger should under no circumstance let go of Cazorla.

What he brings is simply unimaginable. He's so ambidextrous no one even knows his stronger foot. What this means is that with him in a team the play isn't skewed in a single direction.

Add to his recent tracking back, riding challenges and even getting in among the goals.

If you need to get rid of players there are many to choose from (Diaby - I wish he never suffered those terrible injuries, Flamini, Arteta even more).

I can't see the extra dimension Isco would be adding to this team. So, no way.

The guy after my heart is Kondogbia and I know Wenger rates him. He's got physical presence, quite clever and for a big guy too his final balls have bite.

He plays for a very rich team. So it'll take some doing to get him but nothing is impossible.
Kondogbia is said to be available for 16.5m pounds.
If Khedira wasn't so injury prone, I'd have loved to have him at arsenal.
Knowing wenger, he'll probably get someone we weren't expecting.

The same things you said about Henry when he wasn't scoring.
You guys need to stop with this thierry henry comparison already. Thierry was great at monaco, scored 3 in the world cup @21 and eventually scored 26 in his first season with us. Welbeck will probably never score that much for us.

You don't woo players to play for a country so blessed with wealth of football talents like Nigeria. What I did was point out how mistakes begin. He should make the environment encouraging first and believe me it will be the other way round, Players should work hard to play for Nigeria not WE wooing and begging parents for persuasions.. It's strange to me. Moreover, his puzzle should be about finding a world class coach and not acting as a coach, Don't he have technical committee ? Yes, tax payers money because it is not his personal funds.. or is it?
Abeg where are these talents I keep hearing we're blessed with??
Naija football is super overrated at the moment. Now I don't agree with Oga Amaju's trip, but to say we shouldn't try and convince those foreign based players is just plain dumb. Algeria do it on a regular basis, so I don't see anything wrong with it.

This poll only proves how popular he was at arsenal.
