OMANBALA1: Neither do I have qualms with Rohr inviting Azeez, if he continue to do well. However, I strongly disagree with those who are trying to use Azeez recent form to berate Azubike. Zuby might not be in the best of form ,but first he is still the U23 captain and in the last game he carried the whole team on his shoulders. He will also lead them to the Olympics and make history and people will eat the humble pie.
And honestly, I will take an inform Zuby over Ndidi , Etebor, Azeez and the rest....I have seen Zuby play and he is the most equipped of all the DM we currently parade. This is true if we can be honest to ourselves...My prayer is may God lift the boy .
Azubike and Nwakali will still come alive...w Zuby's time will come. Olympic qualifiers was why he wasn't invited the other time. He's not better than Ndidi but he Def isn't a "carpenter" like some are making him out to be. |

Where is he bikonu? He is paying for wasting all that time at Arsenal during pre season instead of moving and trying to integrate at Huesca as quick as possible. |

zoboizee: With Gernot Rohr, Nigeria's chance against Brazil is almost zero. You can't park the bus & play on the counter attack against Brazil especially when the space between your two center backs are so obvious that attackers keep running behind them( as we had it against Ukraine) every now and them. The old Rohr we know will probably keep faith with a defence of Awaziem, Ekong, Omeruo & Collins and a midfield of Ndidi, Etebo & Iwobi. The frontline will be Chukwueze, Osimhen & Kalu. Barring injury to any player.
Brother, i share your feeling. It irritate me watching Etebo play defensive midfield. I watched him at Warri Wolves, U23 Afcon, the Olympics & Feirense as an attacking player. The difference is so clear. Rohr is essentially using him the way he should've used Mikel. Someone needs to speak to him about this. |

balorx: let's get the fact right...no one can do what ndidi does for now ...the guy is irreplaceable ...if we are to play attacking football I prefer aribo starting over etebo and etebo and azeez as a backup to ndidi....zuby can get an invite if etebo is injured let's see what esiti can do his friendly before we say anything Where are you getting this idea that Zuby and Etebo are similar?? I haven't watched Zuby that much(mostly at the Olympics and a few games at Turkey) but he is very different to Etebo. If anything, he is an alternative to Ndidi. You guys need to stop looking at Etebo as a defensive player. He is an attacking player whose versatility is hampering him. You don't know how annoying it feels when I see Rohr playing him as the deepest midfielder. |

internetbusines: Did Aribo, Azeez and the new goal goalkeeper also signed with DW Sport Management? I am not saying your assertion is wrong or right, but what I want you to know is that there are some persons, coaches inclusive that rate English division leagues very lowly in terms of technicalities and tactics and no matter what you tell these people or how good you are in these second below tier English leagues they will never invite you. Save for Semi Ajayi, he is a central defender and apart from the fact that he has been in and out of the super eagles, the engles defense line has been a major problem. Etebo plays in the championship and Eze has been one of the best performers there. Anyhow dude will soon move to an epl club sooner or later. WE should've been inviting him instead of chidiebere and Kelechi Nwakali. This kid go soon blow o! We dey talk am now and some people dey feel say na "English hype". |

komekn: Meanwhile that was over two years ago a VERY LONG TIME in football.
He has improved IMMENSELY beyond from the time he was literally an academy player. He went on loan to then League two Wycombe Wanderers and did very well the rest is history.
So what on earth are we WAITING FOR he is three times the player he was when he trained with the SE. Rohr is not stupid. I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist but what if someone at the technical committee is blocking his invite? The excuse of him playing in the championship doesn't cut it. Ajayi got an invite so why shouldn't he? We need an alternative to Iwobi and Eze fits the bill the most. |

komekn: There should be nothing like makeshift this is the national team not club football. There are no excuses, once you are called to play position you play it to the required standard.
In the AFCON he played as a RB you cant then say that because it's not his normal position we should accept mediocrity.
Unfortunately l didn't watch the match so l don't feel obliged to join the Hallelujah train.
I watched matches the same matches with many people here and thier view of particular players was Over-inflated.
I watched the Leicester match with Luton and the way they talk about KC you would think he was Neymar. Awaziem is our second best ball playing CB after Leon. |

solonnachi: The Super Eagles list has been compromised by NFF. Anderson Esiti and Shehu Abdullahi are the two viruses in that team. Just for the records Don't know why Esiti is back. He should've giving Zuby a call if he's looking for a DM. WE should be looking for another creative presence. I hope Eze is amongst the guys that signed the change of allegiance document or whatever. |

I would've preferred a creative mid over Esiti. Guess Rohr doesn't see Azeez as a DM. Good to see Olayinka getting a call up and Bonaventure getting a second chance. Would've liked to see Maja but maybe next time. Sad with what is happening to Leon Sha. He's still our best ball playing CB and we more than need that as we lack a proper DLP. |

Forget about that mumu tammy abraham.
Naijas biggest challenge is defence. All our defebders are bang average. No need to respect Ekong and balogun. Oyinbo wall is a farce
There is also one top rated defender in germany. I think he is in bayern or so

It's obvious what the guy brings to the team when hes on form. Besides even if Iwobi was kept, he'd be playing on the left side, not the right. |
