Aregbeshola should calm down and retrace his steps. He needs to go and apologise to his godfather Tinubu before it is too late. Aregbeshola should remember the following:
- Tinubu made him commissioner in Lagos State for many years despite the fact that he's not a Lagosian, even at the expense of Lagosians.
- Tinubu rallied round him and made him Osun State Governor for 8 years.
- Tinubu's influence assisted him to become the Minister.
- Aregbeshola enjoyed so many benefits in Lagos courtesy of Tinubu's support.
Aregbeshola, do not bite the hand that fed you!

Did not align with the autopsy report both from warri and Lagos. There was never anything about bacteria infections on the lungs or ankle in the initial autopsy.
. The Warri final Toxicology report aligns with the Lagos Autopsy report. The scan result done by the parents at a diagnostic centre in Warri on the 29th November revealed the boy had HEPATOMEGLAY possible due to ACUTE VIRAL HEPATITIS.

Oromoni: Lagos Govt Clears Five Dowen Students, Staff, Orders Release Of Suspects
The Lagos State Government has cleared five students and five employees of Dowen College accused of complicity in the death of 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.
The state cleared them as well as the school following the Legal Advice of the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, Ms. Adetutu Oshinusi.
Channels Television obtained a copy of the legal advice which was addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID and the trial magistrate, Magistrate Olatunbosun Adeola.
According to the advice, the interim and final autopsy reports issued by the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital and toxicology report of postMortem samples and that of the Central Hospital, Warri were in agreement as to the cause of death namely: Septicaemia, Lobar Pneumonia with Acute Pyelonephritis, Pyomyositis of the right ankle and Acute Bacteria Pneumonia due to severe Sepsis.
The result of the toxicology is also not indicative of any toxic or poisonous substance in the body of the deceased.
The DPP’s legal advice, therefore, concluded that based on these findings, there is no prima facie case of murder, involuntary manslaughter and or malicious administering of poison with intent to harm against the five students, Favour Benjamin aged 16, Micheal Kashamu (15), Edward Begue (16), Ansel Temile (14) and Kenneth Inyang (15).
The state also cleared the minors of belonging to unlawful society due to insufficient facts to establish the offence.
It stated that “from available facts in the duplicate case file, the investigation carried out by the Police did not reveal that any secret society name, tattoo or insignia of any unlawful society was found in the possession of any of the suspects during the investigation carried out by the Police.
“To hold otherwise would amount to sniffing for an offence and a speculative act which is not permitted in law. It is trite law that suspicion no matter how grave cannot be a ground for conviction”.
The state also cleared the school and five employees: Celina Uduak, Valentine Igboekweze, Hammed Ayomo Bariyu, Adesanya Olusesan Olusegun and one Adeyemi of the offence of Negligent Act Causing Harm contrary to section 252 of the Criminal Law Ch. C17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State 2015.
The state, therefore, directed that all the suspects should be released if they are still in custody. https://www.channelstv.com/2022/01/05/sylvester-oromoni-lagos-govt-clears-five-dowen-college-students-staff/amp/

Sylvester Oromoni: Autopsy report out, exonerates house master, others from murder - Vanguard News
The autopsy report conducted on the corpse of late Sylvester Oromoni, alleged victim of bullying, at the Dowen College, Lagos, is out.
The report however, exonerated the school’s House Master and other students arrested in connection with the alleged murder.
Consequently, the suspects who have been in Police custody at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, for over three weeks, were released last week Thursday, on bail.
It would be recalled that the deceased, who was a Junior Secondary School 2 student of the school and a boarder, was rushed to his parents home in Warri, Delta State two months ago, owing to some injuries he sustained while playing football, according to the school. But his parents faulted the school’s claim, disclosing rather, that their son revealed that the injuries were inflicted on him by some senior students who wanted to force him to join their cult group.
Late Sylvester, died few days before he would be 12 years old, from internal injuries which included kidney enlargement.
In the course of investigation into the alleged murder, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Police Command, Hakeem Odumosu, revealed that the autopsy report released did not show that late Sylvester was murdered.
He was, however, quick to add that investigation was still ongoing, part of which was the toxicology test that needed to be conducted on the corpse.
Shedding more light on the investigation, Odumosu, said, ” We are not at the peak yet. But we have done our investigation and have sent the report to the Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP for legal advise on those arrested and DPP has replied.
We have gone through the medical aspect which is the post mortem.
Post mortem was carried out in Delta and Lagos states. The first one done in Delta State was only witnessed by parents of the deceased.
“But after I held a meeting with the parties concerned, at the instance and directive of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and my Inspector- General of Police, IGP Alkali Usman Baba, the second post mortem was carried out in Lagos.
“ The corpse was brought from Delta State to Lagos, where the Post mortem was carried out with all the parties involved , that is : parents of the deceased, parents of the students accused, the school authority and government.* These were the four parties that witnessed the post mortem. *And the result is out* .
“ The report of the Post Mortem did not bring out the issue of murder on anybody.
“Besides the result of the autopsy, the court order that we got has elapsed and we have released the house master and others on bail, because there was nothing that indicted them of murder.
“It is only a murder case that is not bailable. Every other offences are bailable. They have been in custody for more than twenty days and that is infringing on their fundamental human rights. Since medical and legal reports have not indicted them so far, I think there is need to allow them have their freedom because bail is not the end of the case.
“ Another forensic test known as toxicology , will be carried out on the corpse” Odumosu informed
By the way, the Toxicology test is to determine the concoction that was allegedly forced into the deceased mouth which peeled his lips. The test according to Odumosu, would be conducted abroad.
He explained that “Toxicology test was being done in Nigeria before, precisely at the Lagos State medical facility in Lagos Island. But after the EndASRS crisis, it is conducted outside the country.
“Until that one is effectively done, we won’t know the final report. But with the interim report, nothing showed murder”, AIG Odumosu stated. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/01/sylvester-oromoni-autopsy-report-out-exonerates-house-master-others-from-murder/amp/

wirinet: Even though I feel the autopsy was not detailed enough and contains conflicting errors, I don't think the ribs necessarily need to be broken for the lungs to be to damaged by blunt force trauma. Lungs can be damaged by blows without damage to the ribs. Well said. Lungs can be damaged by blows without damage to the ribs. However, if the lungs are damaged by blunt force trauma to the ribs, without damaging the ribs, autopsy would still pick up the trauma impact spots on the ribs. The spots on the ribs where the blows landed would be picked up by the autopsy, even though the ribs are not damaged. The family autopsy never reported damage or trauma spots on the ribs. |

Igbokid: According to the report , the pathologist wasn't sure of the cause of the lung injury reason why he queried (??) Chemical intoxication.
But from what I could deduce from the report, I'd wager a bet he died from a MODS Multi organ dysfunction syndrome - Heart , Lung and the brain
My reasons are - Features of hepatosplenomegally - The hemosiderin laden macrophages - Features of raised ICP
The heart apparently failed according to the report. Heart failure cells ( hemosiderin laden macrophages) and hepatosplenomegally proved that.
The gastric finding was also instructive . That looks like a stress ulcer ( which could be from shock vis a viz MODS).
Also, the parents should be asked what was given to that child . With the desquamation of his lips , could it be some sort of SJS ?? With the same offending agent ( usually a medication) triggering a widespread immunological response culminating in MODS .
This is just my humble submission based on my little medical knowledge. I'd like my chiefs here to say what they think about the findings.
That said, this doesn't absolve the alleged perpetrators of the heinous crime that led to the untimely demise of that young chap of any crime. Justice must be served . This would serve as a deterrent and also help Sylvesta's family to achieve the needed closure.
PS: Forgive me if you find the medical jargons up there unintelligible Well said. Kudos to your analysis! I find some errors in the autopsy report presented by family. According to the report, he died of " Acute Lung Injury due to Chemical Intoxication in a background of Blunt Force Trauma. Hmmmn! " Acute Lung Injury due to Chemical Intoxication... ": If a chemical or poison is drunk, the chemical or the poison would surely damage the internal organs along alimentary canal and other internal organs before going to damage the lung. How come the 'chemical intoxication' damaged the lungs acutely without affecting the internal organs especially those along the alimentary canal? Acute Lung Injury.... in a background of Blunt Force TraumaHmmmn! The lungs are protected by the ribs, just like the brain is protected by the skull. If there's a blunt force trauma to the head that damages the brain, the skull would surely also be affected. In the autopsy report, how come a blunt force trauma caused acute lung injury while the ribs are not damaged? Because the autopsy report never mentioned damage to the ribs. These are a few errors I see in the autopsy report. Like you rightly said, we all want justice for Sylvester. Everything must be done to unravel the true cause of his death. However, ambiguous or incomplete autopsy report shouldn't be released to the public. Toxicology report has not been released according to the family autopsy report, yet, the pathologist mentioned 'chemical intoxication' and this was released to the public. This is not right especially in a sensitive case like this! May God Almighty give Sylvester's father, mother, siblings and other family members the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen. |

Sirseedorf: Salam Alhaekum.
Please brother can you explain each of the for obligations you mention much better. 1. Offer and acceptance: You and your wife-to-be agree to love and marry each other. 2. Parents' consent especially that of the father: Father gives consent to your union. The father accepts you to be the husband to his daughter. 3. Mahr: Give your wife-to-be anything she demands. E.g. money, Quran, a book, laptop, etc. 4. Witnesses: At least two persons must be witnesses to you coming together as husband and wife, apart from your parents. With all these 4, Nikkah is established in Islam. Other things like wedding ceremony, introduction, traditional wedding, white wedding, etc, are just ceremonies. If you're buoyant enough, you can go for them. They are not haram. |

I have tried to fathom how he satisfied all of them sexually...
Anyone with an idea? Solomon was God's prophet. He never had thousands of wives and concubines as claimed by Bible. He never committed adultery. In fact, none of the prophets or messengers of God ever committed fornication or adultery. They are all the best exemplary humans for humanity to follow.
The Jews only wrote that bad false story about Solomon to discredit him.The same way they accused David of sending one of his disciples to war front to be killed in order to snatch his wife. |
Education › Oromoni Sylvester: Statement From Dowen College On Death Of 12-Year-Old Student by edimaan(op): 11:58pm On Dec 01, 2021 |
MEDIA STATEMENTPress Statement on Oromoni Sylvester"The attention of the management of Dowen College has been drawn to a viral post on the sad demise of one of our precious children, Sylvester Oromoni. On 21st day of November 2021, one of the Hostel Parents reported to management that Sylvester was injured while playing football. The resident registered nurse immediately administered first aid on him and after he expressed relief, was released to return to his hostel room. Sylvester was in class on Monday 22nd day of November 2021, but during school hours one of his friends accompanied him to the Sick Bay where he complained of some pain in his hip. The doctor examined him and prescribed Ibrofen for the pain, while the nurse massaged his leg, after which Sylvester said he felt a bit better. In accordance with school policy, the resident doctor called Mrs. Oromoni reporting the incident and requesting that she come for him so that he could get further medical attention. The mother however said she was not in Lagos, spoke with Sylvester and prayed with him on the phone and promised to send the guardian to pick him up immediately for further medical attention. When the guardian failed to show up, the next day on the 23rdof November 2021, the doctor called the mother again and this time, she assured that his guardian would pick him from school. Sylvester’s guardian showed up and took him for X-ray after which the guardian informed the school management that the results of the investigation revealed that no part of his body was broken or injured. The resident doctor also called the mother later in the week to check up on Sylvester’s progress but she informed the doctor that Sylvester was sleeping at the time. The Principal also spoke with Mrs. Oromoni on the phone to enquire about his progress and she reported that he was having a massage and gave the phone to Sylvester to speak with the Principal. As a result, it came as no small shock to us to read wild social media tales that Sylvester was beaten by some students and that he specifically mentioned some names. We immediately commenced investigations and invited the students mentioned for interview. Sylvester's guardian was also present during some of the investigations. It was revealed that nothing of such happened. The whole incident was strange and unbelievable because: 1. The school has effective anti-bullying policies and consequences are well spelt out to all the students. 2. The preliminary investigation showed that there was no fighting, bullying or any form of attack on the boy. 3. There were no reports by Sylvester himself, his sister who is also a student or any other students, prefects, house parents, medical staff or any of the management staff about any fighting or bullying incident. 4. The school has two regular nurses and a qualified medical doctor that promptly attend to students’ medical needs. 5. The resident doctor followed the laid down procedure by inviting Mrs. Oromoni to take Sylvester home for further treatment after initial treatment by the school’s medical staff. The school has a very cordial relationship with the Oromoni family as Sylvester is the fifth child of the family Dowen College has the privilege to train, including his elder sister who is currently a student at the school. Furthermore, we state categorically Dowen College is built on core values of godliness and excellence and will not tolerate any acts of cultism, which is why there is nothing like that and there has never been such deviant activities going on, as this is a faith based school and effective policies are in place to prevent such occurrence. We are deeply saddened by the death of Sylvester who was a dearly beloved student of the school. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy and heart-felt condolences to the Oromoni family, relatives, friends, and classmates at this very difficult time." Thank you. Dowen college is a disgrace. He mentioned 5 names before passing yesterday." It's really unfortunate and painful. I sympathise and empathise with the boy's parents, families and relatives. May God give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen However, it's not true that he was beaten to death by his colleagues. Teachers don't beat in Dowen. No corporal punishment in Dowen in line with Lagos State policy on education. No cultism in Dowen as being spread on the social media. It's a baseless allegation. There's a regular campaign against bullying in the school. The boy actually fell sick and died later. Although, he injured his leg while playing football before falling sick. Further investigation is still on going. May God Almighty give the parents the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen Nigerians, let's not hurriedly run into conclusion on seeing any allegation on social media. |

I advise her to go and get a fresh masters degree from another university outside of this country. In what way has she dented the image of GREAT IFE? So, you expected her to keep silent and allow the randy lecturer to have his way with her? Put your any of your sisters in her shoes and see how painful it could be for a lecturer to insist on having sex with her before she can pass his course. Many female students allow those randy lecturers to sleep with them and cry in silence! . It's the lecturer that dented the image of GREAT IFE. Not the lady. It's so unfortunate that the university senate and the VC ganged up again the lady. |
