Gained Admission in October 2016, Five years course plus Covid-19 and several ASUU strikes, finally ended yesterday 14th of December, 2022.

When I was yet to gain admission I was thinking that University is easy not until I entered and found out that it was not easy. The stress, early morning lectures, attendance, and the rest of them all were never an easy journey.

I never lost hope of going to the University and graduating after writing JAMB for so many years.

May God Be Praised. My Nairaland Family thank you all, I have learned a lot here on Nairaland which has helped me in my academics, and I appreciate you all.

I applied two days ago and i was accepted. Onboarding starts in January. so i believe we'll be in the same batch. I was already on my journey to become a frontend dev when i saw this opportunity. You can imagine my shock to see that the curriculum is wider than just React, Html, CSS or even JavaScript.... But i know I must strive to be able to thrive.... so, here am I!

I made This same complaint too about their curriculum, I was about to enter javascript wen I started the program by November, I must tell. The program is good for long term journey but not really good for me that wanted to achieve frontend in 6month. They want to teach you many things in just a year

If I May ask also, why would in some competition after a team score they will still playing defense to avoid goal. I don't know if there is anyone that' hate Messi or not, we all know and all agree on is that CR7, Cristiano Ronaldo is far more better than Messi in everything, in soccer, and otherwise. It's good,but the expenses can overweigh the profits. If you are giving someone the vehicle to use, they will most likely look for ways to run down the car without remitting money to you

I wanted to drive it myself, but the consideration was:
1) I don't know how to drive very well, especially on a very busy road that I can be getting passengers
2) that I can Use the money to advance my career
3) that The money can start a good business for me that doesn't need much stress like transportation

Invest in yourself first. Take 200k out of that money to learn a skill that will pay you money and focus on it for a year, preferably online. This is what you will combine with your business that you start later.

Buy non perishable foodstuffs like egusi or palm oil with the rest. Ensure you have a place to keep them safe. Also find out the season such are cheap. Egusi is ok now, but this is not the right time to buy palm oil. This requires research I don't have time to explain well, so do it yourself.

You want something that can retain it's value, and because people will always need food, it will not lose its value. You can sell them at the peak price period. You need good bargaining skills and a dealer who won't cheat you to help.

Stick to what is earning you money now. People make the mistake of leaving their jobs because they want to start a business. You will end up relying on a business that's not stable for your needs and you will crash it.

This will all require a lot of focus and dedication from you. It will be tough, but you can do it.

As for the business, it's up to you. Every business is profitable, but it depends on many factors. Environment, your skills, demand for it and much more. For example, poultry rearing is good, but when you calculate the total expenses and the effort involved, is it worth it to you?

So also transportation business. I know someone who earns more than public servants from this alone, but I still don't consider it worth doing because I don't have the skills and the stress may make you grow grey hair.

Compare the profits:risk:efforts:time: skills and see if it's worth it. Start small then.

lack of fund to support myself. Because am no more working, each time I open my laptop to start coding, my mind must cut, I will start thinking that i supposed to be hustling on the street or hunting for another work and this would not make me to concentrate.
