It has been 123 years since a black emperor named Menelik II defeated a white enemy. It is celebrated every year by Ethiopians but it should have been remembered by every single African because this was the day when the world knew black people can defeat and succeed independently. It was after this moment that many African countries took the colors of the Ethiopian flag.


I hope one day, Africa realize the victory of Emperor Menelik II and celebrate this achievement as it belongs to the whole black people.
