XhosaNostra: LMFAOOO. Wow. Speechless.
What does the bolded part mean? Btw, what is the purpose of "ye" at the end of someone's name? Eg. "Ednited-ye". We say ay or wey when we feel sad. If I am angry at you, I say ay/ wey XhosaNostra you add Ye at people name as a Nick name. Close people use that / its a way to show you like people. For example, I will say XhosaNostraye if I like you. You get it XhosaNostraye? |

XhosaNostra: No, I'm not still in love with him lol. I got over it. But at the time I was smitten, so I got a little sad. Many of them are extremely promiscuous, hence I almost laughed when you said they are religious. Religious my azz
One has two kids here with a South African girl, but I heard he's married in Ethiopia. The same guy was trying to sleep with me, even though I know his GF. They can be love rats. That's why I was trying to find out from you because they could be acting different back home, out of respect . Wey habesha! Ay habesha! That means the society holds them here. I do know the vibe where their heart don't settle. . . The most disciplined guys I call out in our class keeps looking at ladies back side, you know what I mean They easily lose their mind, you see them rating the ladies passing by. One after one. Then I thought, maybe all men are like this. I've never expected such type of thing from them. So these guys don't settle any where . . . Shame! You see some grown azz guys here playing games (digital) all day then the rest of the time, they keep debating and talking about ladies they saw. Some aren't matured. They could be smart but they haven't grown yet. Getting married with one of these is like raising a kid you didn't give birth to. I think I am not going to marry any one of them. |

XhosaNostra: Well, the ones I know seem to have a wandering eye & are not really religious lol.
Yeah well, we sort of had a tumultuous non-relationship that lasted for almost 3 months, until he moved away. His eldest brother was murdered, so he moved to where his brother was staying to take care of his shop.
We were neighbours. At their place he was staying with another one of his brothers, Ermez(?). They partied a lot. Ermez was the more promiscuous between the two of them. So anyway, Teddy (the crush) called me to come over at his place. I was sitting for about a minute, when suddenly this sexy chic came out of the bedroom, wearing only underwear. I spazzed out because I wasn't sure what he was trying to do. Was he trying to use me to get rid of her or was he using her to indirectly tell me to feck off. I couldn't make up my mind & I still don't believe his explanation to this day. He told me that Ermez brought the girl from the club the night before. So my question was, why did Ermez leave his one-night-stand behind when he left home for work that morning? I assume that's what people do with strangers that they just had sex with. It didn't make sense to me that he let her sleep in & why was she prancing around in her underwear? I was incensed.
OK, we got over that & started talking again. Next time he did another stupid something that I can't remember right now & I went in on him. He didn't like that, so he stopped talking me. A few weeks later his brother was killed & he told me that he'll be going away at the end of that month. He called a couple more times after he moved away, but it just wasn't working lol. I don't even remember why we stopped talking. But I was a little heartbroken for about 5 minutes Whatever! What a disciplined and religious man The irony You really must have had a crush on him. If he had done that to me. I may have been the one not talking to him. I had a crush on a guy once then he acted like he is a very wanted man. Then I start treating him like he was invisible even though I had a crush because if I keep sending signals, and even if we got in relationship, it's going to go wrong. Then he started chasing after me. You should have walked on this man. What type of guy is he. . .disgusting! Let him go girl, you don't deserve him. It is for the best. If he comes back and misbehaves again say him 'SIREAT'! It means order in Amharic |

XhosaNostra: You just cracked me up. What's your opinion on Ethiopian men? I once had a crush on one But I'm a little bossy sometimes & I think he got frightened or whatever lol. You had a crush on an Ethiopian? Well, what you like about Ethiopian men will be their discipline but they don't know how to treat a girl like a lady. Seriously. They treat you like their favorite male friend You may find them religious too. If you are bossy, they may not like it. Probably they won't |

XhosaNostra: Lol @ "little loyal". Some part of me tells me he seems settled but not exactly. Her own close friends don't find it right. What does that tell ya? Everything happened so fast and he express his love publicly in a way that is a little annoying. Stupid people keep shouting they are smart because they don't feel it inside. He keeps doing that because unless he does it, he thinks she don't think he feels it inside @tylan? I wish you knew him. You would agree with me |

Well personally I have this thing, I'm unattracted to familiarity. So I don't see myself ever settling down with a fellow South African. I want to discover new things. So you are anti-South African |

Wow, some guys are scummy like that. I don't blame you at all for having your guard up. They are really not worth it. I pity the girl. But at the same time it's possible that he's changed or hasn't he? He is a little loyal. Last time, my friend who rejected him was saying that he still have something with her. He looks loyal to his girlfriend. I wish I told her from the start but I knew after things got serious! I had to keep quiet getting pissed. She is a really good person @tylann, hope you get me now |

XhosaNostra: Would you ever be with someone who isn't Ethiopian? For a long time, I thought my family won't care about nationality but I figured recently how tough it would get if I brought a non Ethiopian home. I don't care about nationality, I am not going to marry a crazy Ethiopian because I am required to bring an Ethiopian. What matters is the personality. I fear I am going to have rough connection with my family if my partner is non Ethiopian now. I am saying the whole family I use to laugh at people who focuses on nationality. . . Now that is my family |

XhosaNostra: I'm the same about the testing lol. I agree with you on the rest. Those are at the very top of my list as well. Would you ever be with someone who isn't Ethiopian or Orthodox? No. I can't do that. First, my heart says no and secondly my family. No way, not even with Catholic and protestant. I wish he is Ethiopian but I don't mind if he isn't Let me tell you something by the way. When I was first year student, a friend of mine told me about this guy who keep asking her for relationship and she asking me what to do. She wasn't interested so she rejected. He didn't know that I know that. . . few WEEKS later, he asked me out. I rejected. . . . few WEEKS later, he started relationship with my other friend. What do you call this. Now I find it really hard to trust men. That wasn't a tire love, he just wanted relationship. But the friend of mine who is his girlfriend don't know anything. He is just a loyal boyfriend to her |

I test the guys in many things and no one passed so. . . But more than any thing, I want my partner to be loyal, matured and smart. |

XhosaNostra: I'm sure the reasons differ from person to person. Relationships are a ton of hard work. When the honeymoon stage starts to fade, that's when it gets a little too "worky" for some of us. A part of me believes in true love though. I just hope it's what I expect it to be. You need to stop thinking of it as a work. I find it hard giving advice because I have never been in relationship. One of the reason why that didn't happen is because I will be dedicated and serious on that. I want to focus on other thing now Before you swallow a food, you must accept it . . .or it sticks to your throat Be positive |
