This should then mean that the Queen of Sheba and Enoch resided and lived among the Ethiopians since they were Ethiopians and even spoken the language!

Prehistory tries to support the mitochondrial eve to have existed between 500,000 to 200,000 years ago around the same time language proper was being invented & she was undoubtedly east African, daughter of the great rift valley but there is no empirical evidence to support Ge'ze to be as old as you're claiming so to avoid the usual baseless exchange on who's more patriotic to his/her tribe I see the only logical means to support which language is the oldest is through literacy/history...

I'm aware how important those ancient books are in global history. I know a Scottish Freemason,James Bruce travelled to Ethiopia late 1700s specifically to steal the Kebra Nagast which discusses such things and even how Jesus had a helicopter!

The bolded is the main problem.The average African kid is more likely to pick a book about history of Roman Empire before he learns about the history of his own people and his continent,and we were mentally programmed that way from early grades in school.And remember,Africans didn't have a written language before before the arrival of Europeans (except for Egypt) so some of our history is written by the people who conquered us long time ago.They pick and choose what to write down about us leave out anything that doesn't favour their narrative about Africans.

I respect Ethiopian history but come on! Anyone in the past can write a book.That doesn't mean it's true or not!

It's like the Queen of Sheeba.Both the biblic and the Quranic scholars reckon that she's from Yemen of Arab ancestry but the Ethiopians claim that she's from them!

The battle of the elephant

King Najash(Negus) the King of Habash(Arabic word for Ethiopia) marched towards Mecca with a large army of men and elephants.He did not win though as Allah (God) sent an army of birds which dealt with the invaders.The Quran in the Chapter of The Elephants says:

The King wanted to attack Mecca because he was envious that Sanaa the capital of Yemen(his base) was loosing out to Mecca in terms of trade and influence in the Arabian Peninsula!

It's hard to tell who between the Arabs and the Ethiopians came first as a civilisation, Arabs trace their ancestry all the way to Ismail(Ishmael) the Son of Abraham!

No. Majority of Arabs have Ethio blood! Be careful with Western historical narratives-they're deliberately distorted. Yemen and the entire Saudi peninsula,the whole Middle East actually were ruled and populated by Africans til relatively recently. You do know an Ethiopian King almost captured Mecca or Medina fighting the proto Muslims? His war elephant for some reason refused to cooperate.

I would really love to see that .Well maybe the beauty of the city gets overshadowed by the Ethiopian honeys walking by,maybe they should move you guys out of Addis so that next time tourists visit the city they can observe it without distraction.

It is a big shame what is happening to your beautiful ethiopia when I stayed in ethiopia about 5 years ago in the capital city addis ababa it was just like eastern europe I was shocked to see how developed the city is. The country was so peaceful when I was there. I wish the problems from somalia and tribalism is not finding their way into ethiopia. I could not believe it with my two eyes I stayed in ethiopia for four months and they did not take electricity for even a second I was very impressed with the country. Also the size of the airport is huge I was really shocked to see a big airport.

Sorry but I think most Amharas thought they were buddies with Oromos & Somalis because they didn't like the tigrays. I think Oromos and Somalis have huge axe to grind against Amharas and Tigrays. That temporary alliance ended with Oromo PM Abiy.

Amharas are in big trouble because the trigrays are mostly settled in their northern deserts - but you Amharas are in nearly every fertile highlands deep in Oromo land. You're like Kikuyus of Kenya - settled all over - and nearly everyone has a grievance against you.

Big trouble. You need to have a national conference where Ethiopians forgive each other like South Africans did. We tried to copy the South Africans and had a Truth & Reconciliation thing..but nobody cried, nobody asked for forgiveness and there has been no reconciliation.


The so called Truth & Justice reconciliation report is gathering dust because nobody really want to replay the past and there are no easy solutions. For me it's enough if people are given an ear to tell their sob stories, shed some tears and some of victims & aggressor forgive each other. I can imagine there are Oromos who feel Amharas grabbed their fertile land.
