I have noticed this trend too. Its really annoying when you some of their portrays of Africa. At times, I will be so ashamed I will just put off the tv. A friend of mine went abroad and he said the first question a man asked him there was how comfortable is it to sleep on trees? Can you imagine.

I met one today on my way to work. He was a man in his late or early 50s. Good looking, with nice attire. So I stoped and listened when he approached me, he said he is going to NNPC and that his car broked down, that he just found out he left his wallet at home and needed just 100 naira to take bike home. I quickly dipped my hand in my own wallet and gave him more than what he asked, because I believed him. But when I got to the office, I started ruminating over the whole thing and realised it was a scam. But why will a grown up man like that stoop soooo low for such lively hood? Because if I was in his shoes and such thing really happend to me, I will take a drop home,get my wallet and take the same cab back. Na wa om NAIJA sha

Look at the sort of people who were brought in to attend a strategic conference.
They are not different from the legions of political thugs ,touts,area boy and street urchins you see everyday on TV .
The itshekiris and binis have already made their submissions in AKURE .
Oil block sharing is the least of their problems.
They want a clearly delineated territory with people with whom they share an history culture and heritage ,from where they can choose their friends and alliances.

Is there a single part in this country were there are no kidnappings, robbery and insecurity? Tell me and I will tell you that yes my state should take the fore front of crime in the country. People running their mouth, saying there are too many kidnappings in Edo, I have a question for you. How are you sure these kidnappers are from the state? Edo state is in a strategic position in the conutry for so many near by states to operate and escape with ease. Something happened in a Edo state some time ago, were a very rich ibo transporter was kidnapped and killed eventually, people from Easth accused the Edo people as been bad and they threatened to put a curse on who ever did it. The Oba of Benin gave them a go ahead, but just few weeks later, police arrested the mans wife who actually a manager in the trasport company as the master mind behind the kidnap. He confessed the man was killed because he saw his face. The Edos don't make noise doesn't mean we don't know what we are doing. After that incidence, the Ibos were ashamed. You people should start paying close attention to issues and stop been miopic.

Now take a look at the report. They claim Ogun is the safest state and yet her people has the highest anticipation for fear. Imagine some body running when no one is pursuing? That's exactly who the yorubas are, you come here insulting other tribes like Edo. You claim to have lots of charms and yet can defend it, charms defend the brave and the strong,that's what makes the Edos Thick. I am tired of the forums because of what the yorubas come here to do. Always mouthy and when they are at a distance. Run that mouth when you see an Edo person face-2-face.

This is part of Yoruba problem, right here in bold. We allow Ibo to name markets. We ceded authority over our land to them long ago. Markets should be named by LG. How can you have a Babaloja over Aguiyi-Ironsi Market? Is Aguiyi-Ironsi a Yoruba name?

How many Fajuyi markets are in East? Do they have an Adekunle market in Iboland?
