dblackninja:. Sir, go and do research about it. I stand to be corrected because nobody is perfect. But on this one, I will beat you hand down. You have not countered me yet. This is an engineering term especially mechanical engineering as my field. |

dblackninja:English Etymology From French machinerie (“machinery”), from machine (“machine”); see machine. Pronunciation enPR : mə-shē'nə-rē, IPA ( key) : /məˈʃiːnəɹi/ Rhymes: -iːnəɹi Audio (US) ( file ) Noun machinery ( countable and uncountable, plural machinery ) 1. The machines constituting a production apparatus, in a plant etc., collectively. 2. The working parts of a machine as a group. 3. The collective parts of something which allow it to function. 4. ( figuratively) The literary devices used in a work, notably for dramatic effect |
dblackninja:. Hahaha, u have no fact. You are full with animosity. I have seen a lot of road mechanics. The kind of machines or equipment I am expose to don't have a dine of knowledge of them. There are some cars they can't work on. When I talk, they listen attentively. When I want to start my own company, I will have it in big way. I do professional home services for the rich at my own leisure time. people like you can't service or repairs their cars I where I work because you are clouded with poor mentality. Your expressions are full with animosity. I have worked with top government functionaries young man. Let me just mention a few here, Elizade Motors, Coshari, Larrel Shittu Motors, Kojo Motors etc. You can't service your car in any of the above. You don't even have a car. The company has five branches in Nigeria and I am in the Abuja branch. Go and do research about Toyota Motor Corporation divisions in Nigeria |
dblackninja:. First, I am not a salesman because I am not in the sales department. My work includes maintenance management of vehicles, services, diagnosis, repairs, troubleshooting, assembly, disassembly and using computer to diagnose vehicles and interpret "trouble codes" or "fault codes". I |
abouzaid:. Ok. I will do that. This is weekend. We don't work on weekends |
When I was in school then, one of my lecturers who took us "Synopsis of Motor Vehicle Technology", I used to rate that he was very intelligent then. it was when I got into the field I knew He knows nothing about vehicles but only the theory. I can't make use of his textbook again because it is rubbish to me. Nothing inside except theory and the theory is lacking not in details. |
abouzaid:. First, I am not in the marketing department. We are not selling second hand cars. I don't think they have older model in the marketing department but I would still confirm for you. Older model like? |
dblackninja:. Thanks young man. There is nothing like "faulty Machineries" but "Faulty Machinery". It is an uncountable now like information (not informations), aircraft (not aircrafts), sheep (not sheeps), equipment (not equipments) etc. First, I don't work in a cassava milling factory. even though I am working there with a good pay in the recession, thanks to God for the provision of that. Garri is too expensive in this recession now. so, cassava milling factories in this country are making it big with more profit. I am working with one of Toyota Motor Corporation divisions in Nigeria. We are affiliated to Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan. We deal on all Toyota vehicles including Lexus. Sometimes, we assemble here in Nigeria at the workshop. I work under AC with a demarcated transparent glass , the other side of it we have plasma and the customer lounge. I hardly use spanners for loosening and tightening bolts and nuts. We use a tyre gum for that which is also known as Rotary Machine. |
dblackninja:For now young man, we don't have system in place for that but they create design and optimized not only cars but other mechanical systems. Mechanical engineering is not limited to cars only. Does Nigerian government have a plant to manufacture cars? The answer is "NO!" |
Today, my experience spans ICEs, services, troubleshooting, assembly, disassembly, sensors, pumps, fuel injectors, brake systems, diagnosis, maintenance management and many more. |
GAZZUZZ:hahahaha |
According to Wikipedia, mechanical engineering is the design, analysis, manufacturing , and maintenance of mechanical systems . It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery . It is one of the oldest and broadest of the engineering discipline. From the definition, mechanical engineering works encompasses a lot of area. So, it is not to build or design cars. We have the automobile engineering and motor vehicle technology disciplines to deal with that. Mechanical Engineers are still involved in the manufacturing process of vehicles. let me use the word "Vehicles" here instead of cars because vehicles encompass land vehicles. sea vehicles, space vehicles, water vehicles etc. Mechanical engineering deals with the design, production, manufacturing, and maintenance of devices or structures or mechanical systems. Mechanical engineering is inter discipline field in engineering that is mechanical engineer should in different areas. Unfortunately, our curriculum doesn't involved such just the theoretical aspect which is not applicable in the 21st century industries. As a mechanical engineer, the first thing he or she should know is how to use spanner to work ICEs that internal combustion engines but it is disheartening that many Nigerian graduates who studied mechanical engineering don't know this because of our "obsolete curriculum" that is archaic in a advanced country. let me come home now, I studied mechanical engineering from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo Sate. When I was in school the I used to go for the practical during holidays or at leisure time. Then people while laughing at me but today to the glory of God, I am happy. To crown it all, I did my industrial training with one of Toyota Motor Corporation divisions in Nigeria (name withheld for security reasons). During my industrial training, I was exposed to a lot of machines, equipment etc. I was diligent to learn with them. These machines or equipment were not in my School or you can never found them in any Nigerian best institution. To my knowledge, UI doesn't have them. During my service year, in our Skills Acquisition Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) I encountered a lot of graduates there, they have nothing to offer. When I talked, they would ask me bros, "where did you learn all these from? " I would just laugh and shocked my head. Finally, my B.Eng in mechanical engineering is not a waste and can never be a waste because the degree + knowledge+ practicals + theories have skyrocketed me beyond my imagination. My advice to under graduates and graduates out there who studied/still studying mechanical engineering, learn from the scratch that is from those out there who you think they are nobody. That will set you above the roadside mechanics out there. |
I and Kareem have settled. some of you here don't have job. I don't have time to waste again. bye. No more replying any stupid comment |

honmusa:. You that you have grown intellectually, congrats. U hv grown intellectually accepted but how much do you have in your pocket. I and Kareem have settled our issue but you are saying nonsense from your little understanding within the shore of Nigeria. May God let you see life beyond Nigeria. Amen |
GAZZUZZ:. Simple from a learned person with a good mindset. |
greenpasture:. I totally disagree with you vehemently. As an Engineer so I become the Minister of Finance is that what you are evaluating in your logical and obsolete thought. Is that the excess of education? So, is it because you studied Law , for example, you might be good in Engineering. Even in our various disciplines we have specific area of specialization. A professor in Mechanical Engineering doesn't know all in Mechanical Engineering. He/she must specialized in one areas. The same thing is applicable to Lawyers and politicians and even everyone. Sen. Udo Udoma is a jack of all trades and master of none. He is a monumental failure. He is incompetent and a waste to his generation. |
Lord Putin , the master of war. Putin will annihilate US with his Nukes. Putin needs the war Word War III awaiting... |
Those who accused others for plagiarism are the ones that plagiarise most. so if someone else post something here is plagiarising here again. plagiarism is used in the academic field. Here is a social site or social network platform. If I am writing a textbook, I know the gravity of plagiarism in the academic field. I am not writing a textbook here and someone is accusing me of plagiarism because he is Mr. Chairman or Mr President. Our Mr. president is in US . Because He has the final say here. In social sites, you can't accuse someone of plagiarism because such have not happened in Facebook owes by Mark Zuckerberg, the sixth richest man in the world. Some Nigerians are too idle in mentality. Mark Zuckerberg doesn't have that time to accuse someone of plagiarism on Facebook because someone posted a piece. Good day |
elite:. u are d dumbest because a question is either Yes or No. If I ask you," Who are you @ elite?" The answer I am expecting from is I am Mr B or Z. People use generic name here on NL |
if you threaten a customer, you get fire from business like Nokia. The customer is the boss because he can hire and fire anybody. Don't threaten me again about ban. |
Lacomb:. So, everything there is somebody intellectual property? Nonsense of the 21st century. |
GAZZUZZ:. Who is kazeem? |
GAZZUZZ:. When I am writing a textbook on automobile, I will acknowledge if the need arises. Fo |
GAZZUZZ:. Am I obligated to you Sir? I work on brake system everyday so I know what ABS is all about. |
The one you are using, are u the author? |
ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS) In automobile, the ABS is an anti-lock braking system or anti-skid braking system which is designed to help drivers maintain some steering stability (or retain steering control) and avoid skidding while braking. Succinctly, ABS is a life safety technology in a vehicle while braking heavily. It prevents the tyres from locking up (stop rotating) when the brakes are applied ( in most cases) suddenly and hard. BENEFITS OF ABS TO DRIVERS (1) A vehicle suddenly veers in front of you, forcing you to brake and swerve. (2) An animal jumps into the road and you must brake and steer to avoid it. (3) Bad weather makes the road slippery, making wheels lock more likely when you must brake to stop. FUNCTIONS OF ABS IN CARS (1) It prevents a vehicle from skidding (2) It prevents the wheels from locking up during an episode of heavy braking. (3) It is a life safety technology (4) It also prevents the tyres from locking up (stop rotating. |
