The skewed political structure manipulating the state apparatus to perpetuate It's continued exploitation of the weak. The day will come when some of these soldiers will say, "no sir ! They're Nigerians too, why don't you answer their plea instead ?"
Politics › Re: Aliero To Reintroduce Okada In Abuja by edoyad(m): 8:27am On Feb 08, 2010
If there is no market for it, it will die naturally. But i don't see why abuja should be any different from any Nigerian city/town where okada is a major form of transportation and employment for youths. Abuja as it is today is a mirage and not reflective of a Nigerian city.

Too much talk honourable Jonathan, It's time for action.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 12:31am On Feb 08, 2010
This rubbish has been going on for a long time but unfortunately politics is a game of numbers. To make matters worse the british just put everything north of the Niger and Benue under the northern umbrella.
@tpia, so you better marry me if you want to become a senator in this country representing kaduna south. grin grin
Culture › Re: Questions about Nok People by edoyad(m): 12:20am On Feb 08, 2010
Tpia , why don't you come to kaduna state so i can take you to the jaba village known as Nok. In that town people have been bearing the name nok for Millenia.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 11:33pm On Feb 07, 2010
@paddylo, many people used to wish the same thing too. But believe me these matters are far more complex than meets the ordinary eye. I wish you have the opportunity to see the very things we see here to form a a better picture on this matter. May be I'll take time one of these days to explain these things in detail.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 10:56pm On Feb 07, 2010
Knowall, among every 12 disciples you'll get one Judas. It's not only in the middle belt that you find such people cos they abound in all regions. I believe Saraki is living his father's fantasy which will disappear with the man's passing away. Olusola Saraki contrary to what some people think has been a stumbling block on the fortunes of most Kwara people.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 10:46pm On Feb 07, 2010
And i'm telling you the adamawasouth senatorial zone people she is representing are not hausa people. So don't come here telling us about what the middle belt people have been able to achieve and try to tell others that YOU were part of it. She's representing a group of people with a seperate culture and history, and like you said only share a border like the jews do with arabs. Can any arab lay claim to any jewish accomplishments just because they have geographical proximity ?
When your almajiris are able to look beyond their ignorance and elect a woman of another ethnic affiliation into the senate- or even lower house, then you can come back and tell us "north". Smart Adeyemi of Kogi too is in the senate why don't you ask him where He's from ?
Go and fraternize with your people cos your detrimental ways are not appreciated by us, plateau state i believe recently told your people that .

You don't know how an under achieving economy drives it citizens into desperation ? Go and read about the 23 year old who will be losing his arm over theft of 70k then we can talk.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 9:07pm On Feb 07, 2010
@papabrowne, leave the deceitful liars to keep fo.oling themselves, they think the rest of the country is ignorant of their petty machinations. They know all these things but for some strange reason seem to think whatever it is they concoct has blinded the eyes of other folks. Thanks also for the Tuface and MI illustration(MI is actually from taraba but nothing spoil It's all middle)

Yes mr aboki, it so happens that during retaliations to religious riots in the south east, people of middle belt extraction sometimes fall victims cos they too are called hausa ; but that is more out of ignorance than anything. As time has gone by, that is sorting itself out. And as for the middle belt govs, Jang did not attend the last rubbish they called which itself is a signal to you.

How can the level of illiteracy and poverty in one part of a country not affect the other parts. After their shops are burnt and goods looted in religious riots what option do they have than to migrate to countries and sell drugs ?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. by edoyad(m): 7:03pm On Feb 07, 2010
It's not easy being a gunner, but what can one do ? Atleast i'm not a fan of German team.
Same sh¡t , different season. What's up with the UCL ?
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 6:53pm On Feb 07, 2010
Leave the comedians. They're coming here to talk of the wife of a Bachama man removing Jonathan Zwingina from his seat and trying to lay claim to it. It would be like Niger Delta people citing Wole Soyinka as an example of their heritage. Are hausa people the same with bachama people in Adamawa state ? Cite an example from sokoto, Zamfara, Kano, Jigawa etc, states or senatorial zones with predominantly hausa people so we can see.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 6:40pm On Feb 07, 2010
My guy, stop acting draconian, which north ? That thing happened in adamawa south, middle belt, predominanlty christian. How many hausa people use Jackson Bent as a name or have daughters called Ricky Bent ? If you're asking yoruba people that question why are you not asking your hausa people the same question ?
Can you believe this joker ? Or are hausa people exempted from Nigeria now ?
Politics › Re: Nigerians Have Done It Again by edoyad(m): 5:27pm On Feb 07, 2010
Aboki, open your dictionary and check for burukutu in it if you know how to use one. FYI It is an African alcoholic brew of which other variations are known throughout Africa. Even Yvonne chaka chaka is known to have made a song in honour of the south African version of it. And as for the prostitution you mentioned, i am yet to come across any data mentioning the middle belt as being the nest of prostitution in Nigeria.
Now, pious almajiri man, please tell us which people are on record for having the highest rate of poverty, illiteracy and beggarly elements on our land ? Or do you dispute that fact ?
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 4:59pm On Feb 07, 2010
Fact, Shade Bent removed senator Jonathan Zwingina in the PDP adamawa south senatorial seat.
Does the name Jonathan sound like a hausa name to anyone ?
Does the name Zwingina sound like a hausa name to any one ? If you know any body from adamawa state ask them which people bear the name Zwingina.
The day a yoruba or ibo woman married to kano man wins senatorial seat in kano state comeback and talk diversity, rubbish !

When illiterates in the "north" are mentioned, please who do you think is the subject ? Is the berom man, kogi man, southern kaduna man, benue or idoma man ? Do any of these people I've mentioned not send their children to school ? Do any of them have almajiris on the streets with 14 year old daughters being married off ? Please educate alhaji aboki
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 4:08pm On Feb 07, 2010
Mr jarus, let me inform you on something. The North Central geopolitical zone, is a diffent entity from the middle belt. People of middle belt extraction happen to fall into other geopolitical zones by reason of the politics that was used in state creation. That is why you hear people of southern kaduna extraction agitating for their own state because they bear no connections culturally and historically with the people they're zoned with. It is same for the people of Adamawa south, parts of bauchi and gombe states too. In this areas you wont find Emirs cos the people are predominantly christian, and even when they're not christian they still hold on to their cultural traditional titles.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 3:52pm On Feb 07, 2010
Of course i agree and started a thread to that effect, but don't come here and give credit for Folashade's presence in the senate to the "north", cos we know what that usually implies. I hope you know kaba people of kogi state are historically yoruba people and fall in middle belt. Smart Adeyemi can be said to be another yoruba man representing the middle belt though his case is different cos He's from kogi state unlike senator Shade who's from Osun.
Politics › Re: Nigeria=muslims Reject Al-qaeda Offer by edoyad(m): 3:39pm On Feb 07, 2010
If you live in barnawa which is across the bridge then you have no worries my friend, barnawa is in the half of kaduna town owned by my people. Enjoy yourself and sleep not fearing an attack from mindless scoundrels.
Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 3:32pm On Feb 07, 2010
So too my primary school books tell me that Nigeria is composed of hausa, "ibo(sic)" and yoruba people which is of course a worse lie than the one you just told.
May be if hausa people spent more time on education than politicking you would know these things.
Politics › Re: Nigeria=muslims Reject Al-qaeda Offer by edoyad(m): 3:26pm On Feb 07, 2010
I'm not too good with hausa language mr jimmysho but i take it you are asking what part of kaduna i'm from ?
Well i'm from southern kaduna and of jaba extraction.
Politics › Re: Nigerians Have Done It Again by edoyad(m): 3:16pm On Feb 07, 2010

Politics › Re: Yoruba Woman Is Adamawa Senator by edoyad(m): 2:43pm On Feb 07, 2010
CORRECTION
I'm sorry to burst your bubble mr Ndu Chuks, Folashade Bent is representing the middle belt and not the mirage called "north". Adamawa south, kaduna south, plateau state, benue state, taraba state, parts of nassarawa, Niger states etc have a collection of people with their distinct tribes, languages and cultures; collectively they're known as the middle belt.
I know this cos i'm of Nok extraction from southern kaduna, we prefer to be referred to as middle belt and not "north". Usually North in Nigerian parlance refers to hausa people, while i have no problem with hausa people, we know we definitely are a very different culture from hausa people.

Politics › Re: ". .good For The Goose Is Good For. ."|fed. Character, let's Have State Character by edoyad(op): 9:46am On Feb 07, 2010
@ Safeact, that is what i'm talking about. Is it fair that people from other states do not have a real provision in our constitution to prevent instances like the Ebonyi one (mind you, it is happening in all states of Nigeria and worse in many). If for example the commissioners, perm secs and civil servants in Ebonyi were truly representative of the state "character", like we have at the national level, wouldn't the govt be at an advantage when it comes to policy formulation and execution to the good of all ?
Which brings me back to my question, how many states have commissioners and perm. secs of not only different state origin but region as a whole ? Can we see Mr Emeka Okafor as commissioner for science and Tech in Zamfara; Mr. Prieye Ibama as Commissioner for Environment in Plateau ; and Mr Tever Ugah as secretary to the govt in Oyo etc ?
If a provision cannot be made to enshrine this in our constitution then why remain a nation ?
