Wow! It's almost like a movie. This guys are really turning up the heat on these monsters. I know I've been quick to criticize our security apparatus in the past, this time I say Tuale! |

Benin –Prof. Isaiah Ibeh of the University of Benin, on Tuesday announced the development of a new drug that can allegedly ‘cure’ HIV and AIDS. Ibeh, who is the Dean of the School of Basic Medical Sciences of the university, told reporters in Benin that the herbal drug had undergone “series of successful tests”. He said “We are at the threshold of making history, in the sense that we seem to have with us something that will permanently take care of what over time seems to have defied all solutions. “We are talking about the latest discovery of an oral drug made from plants extraction in Nigeria for the possible cure of the pandemic, HIV and AIDS virus.’’ ........http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/01/uniben-prof-announces-alleged-cure-for-hivaids/ |
ba7man was trying to be sarcastic but to be honest the manner he expressed it could easily pass as criticism. Sarcasm usually contains a tinge of humour or the ridiculous, which were evidently absent from his post. Some Nairalanders here are known for condemning any projects executed in other states. |
What a coincidence that just a few hours after dayo ridicules us for gradually aging while being trophyless, debosky goes on to celebrate another birthday. Oya post your own pics of then and now. |
dayokanu: So how many years of trophylessness now Mr Edoyad? Where were you the last time Arsenal won a trophy?
|
ogbeche77: It 8yrs, this is 2013,how can you forget that ![]() Olodo, how can it be 8 years when the season is not yet over ? Atleast wait til may before you promote us to 8 years. |
Real Leagues like EPL, Serie A and La Liga all played last weekend . |
Arsenal's fortunes have dipped due to these reasons:First of all, our fortunes have dipped cos we developed a rubbish blue print on how a club should be run. Just look at the amount of duds we have brought in over the last 7 years in comparison to United or even Tottenham. All these goons were placed on salaries almost similar to the real talents in the club leaving them feeling aggrieved. At the same time, players who would have formed the back bone of the team kept being sold to rivals like we were running a pr0stitution ring. Would Arsenal have gone bankrupt if we bad refused to do business with Barca and City? I think not. Let us stop using the excuse of building a Stadium. Bayern and Benfica did it without any problems |
Apostle dudu, welcome back eh. If you think you trap me inside one of your dissertations, you have another thing coming ![]() |
^^^Football Socialism. Coming from a club that has benefited from the free market. It's obvious there's no incentive to put in an effort. 4ller, I take it back, Arsenal players obviously only perform in the final stages of their contract. |
Here's the interesting part....... Wenger went on to reveal his policy on wages is different to many of his top-flight rivals, with the Arsenal boss explaining there is a balance within his squad that ensures none of his players are paid vastly more than their team-mates. So while some of Manchester City's stars may be pocketing more than £200,000 every week and find themselves lining-up alongside a player having to make do with a mere £15,000, Wenger insists on following different rules. |
dudu nice that you're here, cos what I'm about to post has a lot to do with the defence you, debosky and i think dipo(if I'm correct) consistently put up for Wenger: That he has no power over what is spent on players There has long been conjecture over Wenger's involvement in the financial structure of Arsenal, and the Frenchman says he is always fully involved in transfer negotiations and will be so again during the January window. While most Premier League managers take a back seat when players and their agents sit down to thrash out contracts and pay packets, Wenger insists he plays a central role in every deal at Arsenal. "I don't know how it works at other clubs, but the wages at Arsenal are decided in consultation between me and the board," Wenger said. "There is an amount of money that is dedicated to the wages every year. Within that budget, we try to come up with payments that are sensible and defensible. "As long as the economical balance within a club is respected and you pay the people with the resources that make economical sense, then it is fine. If I want to pay a player a little more than the budget, then I ask for the authorisation from the boardIn other words, he has directly been involved with the dip in our fortunes. |
Poor El Nino needs a lucky break
|
debosky: No it wouldn't. Keeping RVP (without the additions) would not have put us in a much better position than we are right now - there's last season's league table as evidence. Are you kidding me ? Going into a negotiation when preconditions were already set? Statements like, "Arsenal will not go bankrupt to satisfy anyone" ring any bells ? |
Now the same scenario is almost playing out with Theo, if the dude releases a statement and departs acrimoniously they'll start to say Theo had already made up his mind to leave. No be so? |
debosky: Tell me what has changed in the past 6 months that would've changed the signing of David Villa from a 'stroke of genius' (your words) to something leaving you 'seriously doubting'.You're missing the point, the problem is not with Villa per se but the gesture of getting him when we are in sinking sand. Why did they have to wait six months to get a competent replacement . Wouldnt it have made more sense to use the money spent on Villa (if he's coming) , Giroud and Podolski to keep RVP ? |
debosky: So in 6 months it has become a rubbish move? Why exactly? Has Villa suddenly become rubbish in 6 months or what is the reason exactly?Yes, 6 months is a big deal in football. In fact 6 days is a big deal. In six months we have been left fighting for fourth place just half way into the season, 15 points behind the number one team. We Finished second in a UCL group we really should have topped and as a result got a difficult draw in the second draw. |
coogar: david villa is world class....if you can play henry upfront, why not villa? how old is di natale?I don't think 4ller mentioned his age with a view to making look like an aging striker. When I read it I immediately saw the hypocrisy in the Arsenal management style. Refusing to give lucrative contracts to 29 year olds but going abroad with the intention of splashing money on a foreign 30+year old, who has never played one day of English footie. And this is in January. Does it sound alright to you? |
Leopantro: Saw a review on the Android PC thought you might like to readPlease sir, do you know where I can buy this android mk808 mini PC in Nigeria? |
