I don't know about the local industry but in professional movie set like in Hollywood for instance which I'm familiar with-
A director has the right to change the script as he so wishes.
The work of a screenwriter is write the scripts after that your work is done, it is left for the Director to interpret that script as he/she wishes..
It was idiotic of Angel to try to challenge Pere and Ceec on how they chose to interpret that script, directors can change some certain things if they feel that would be best in a given scene.
