casualobserver: I have already talked about this mythical Northern vote.
There are probably now 4 blocks because the middle belt is beginning g to assert itself. Previously they voted with the NW block
Furthermore never in the history of Nigerian elections has the North ever won an election on its own. It has always had to form an alliance with the south to win.
Balewa had to align with Zik, Shagari had to align with Zik, Buhari had to alliance with SW.
Putindbutt: Remove SW, SS and NC votes from Buhari votes in 2015 and he would have cried again on national TV, Lol. Buhari always lose SW, SE, SS, and NC votes until Tinubu helped his destiny. He even got better vote percentage in the SS because of Tinubu's factor but SE will never vote him. Kid receive sense.
same Tinibu floated ACN with his candidate got 2m . He only Joined a Memometum and moving train of 12 vote bank . Get small sense
helinues: Stop talking nonsense. Are you also being paid for opposing this government?
he Destroyed our Purchasing power, reduce naira to rubble our Economic size from 500 to 188 bn USD Inflation at 30 Yorubanization Many more we must vote him out by all means Increase poor to 130m Nigeria Meanless project Coastal road Refuse to pay living wage while buying 130 m USD plane
Written increase chances of your Stipends What your reward ? Yorubanization sai the Muslim North is not important that with 2.3 million and Ronu they can win Why Court the south south Hypocracy
Sorry is your case. You are just too emotional for politics discussion
Wike, Keyamo, Umahi are from where?
Stop sounding this way as it's not making you to look good
keyamo Umahi are from the Former Eastern Nigeria where the Muslim Muslim tickets lead by Tinibu supported by Izalah Muslim sects got the Least vote . They came from the Zone who rejected Muslim Muslim Candidate and also won by OBi . President Muslim Vp Muslim Chief of staff Muslim CJN Muslim . APC Muslim CG custom Muslim CEO NNPC Muslim APC Chairman Muslim
TInibu is a Muslim/ Muslim tickets and Majority of his Vote ( 90 percent) are Islamic motivated he is not any Southern Presidency He he was Where are the IBO , Ijaws,Calabar urohbo in this Government .he only appoints his Yoruba kinsmen and Muslim North .
Odaolivia: Good evening Nairalanders, Please permit me to share my story anonymously because I need advice, and maybe, just maybe, someone here might have experienced something similar or can help.
In May 2023, I received a long-awaited federal appointment offer from a top government financial institution. It felt like a dream come true. The offer letter clearly stated that I had to resign from my current job before documentation, so I did.
At the time, I was working with a leading commercial bank. I had stability, was on track for confirmation as full staff, and was doing well. But I made the tough decision to resign because I didn’t want to disobey the instructions in the appointment letter. I believed that better things were ahead.
Unfortunately, that belief is what’s hurting me today.
Since then ,no induction, no documentation, no follow-up. Nothing. The management of the institution changed shortly after we received the offer, and since then, it has been complete silence.
I’m not the only one. There are many others like me — young Nigerians who resigned, relocated, and gave up good jobs or businesses for this opportunity. A few are now depressed. Some haven’t recovered financially. And worst of all, we have no official statement telling us whether to keep hoping or move on.
Right now, I am unemployed, struggling, and confused. Did I make a mistake by trusting the system? How do I explain to people that I resigned from a bank job based on a federal offer that never materialized?
This is not a pity post. I’m just tired. Maybe someone here knows what we can do, or whom to speak to. Please, if you’ve ever experienced something similar or have helpful advice, I’m listening.
Thank you for reading.
hope you not among those buying Job offer ! People that destroy Nigeria dont deserve any messy
Putindbutt: Tell me any other person who can do that?. Tinubu publicly said without him, Buhari can never be President, that Buhari failed three times and cried on TV before he went to him and told him he would win the next election. Then Tinubu declared "it is my turn". Tell me any candidate who can do that to a sitting President and get away with it?. After that declaration, all the talks about anointing a candidate was thrown out and a rule was made that all candidates should contest on a level playing field.
you be pikin for Political info .Atiku Blast Jonathan and PDP as the PDP primary In 2011 for him front . Kwakwaso walked out of Jonathan and even organize for road to be swept after Jonathan pass . Yoruba na Fear Fear . Stop forming hard men . Hausa , IBOS IBIRA ,IJWAS Benin TIV Kanuri Fulanis are the hard men of Nigeria
TheNobleProphet: What Tinubu said concerning Masari was that he "almost gave up" ........NOT that he gave up and I feel that remark by Tinubu was just a "political statement" to give some of them a "sense of belonging"!
BondRiv: When it's 2031, a Northerner will occupy the seat. 2027 belongs to the South. Any Southerner is free to contest, but you will have to fight Tinubu to get it. Any Northern candidate will lose.
Putindbutt: If you talking about North, better emphasize the part of the north you're talking about. Because Tinubu only won the NW by slim margin, while Atiku won the NE. The North Central is not a core north and Tinubu won NC by a significant margin better than that of NW. And I think you know that NC are already in support of Tinubu's reelection. Then coming to the South, Tinubu won the SW by a large margin enough to cancel out the votes Obi got in SE. The votes Tinubu got in the SS added to the SW neutralized both Obi's votes and the absymal votes of Atiku in the South. So, Tinubu won the SW, NC and NW. So, how did the North make him President?. Because we know you're talking about the core north. And the only core north he won was the NW with a slim margin of about 300,000 from Atiku. Compared to how the North voted massively for Buhari winning both NW and NE. Stop deceiving yourselves.
Noise maker and rat chest beater Tinibu made buhari president by southwest add only 2.3m votes to his 13m . They also used only 2.4m to make Tinibu president Who is in the North central Niger , Nassarawa,Kogi why will they align with Tinibu to increase hunger and failed governance
Putindbutt: Tell me any other person who can do that?. changing goal post ! Yoruba Man and fear fear ! Without him he now Odumare ! Una dey over estimate the shaky man that is already in panic mode ! Who president son start campaigns two year to election ? No ne 2.3 his Emilokan brother drop ? E pass that without buhari 14m constant votes there will be No APC or even Yoruba and yorubanization of the presidency .A champion that cannot defeat Peter Obi in Lagos or full Stadium in his Lagos is Claiming superman . Southwest= 2.3 million votes = Kano 1.8m
The game changed for all Northerners when Tinubu "singlehandedly" and "openly" challenged Buhari because most of them including Buhari were "antagonistic" towards Tinubu and his mandate but they failed woefully.
That was what made most of them queue behind Tinubu after he won the presidential primary.
Lies he single leggings won the primary . TInibu statement was he has given up before Masari told him to continue But online rats want to change narratives to suit ego
Biodun556: Our popular beliefs in Nigerian politics is that any presidential candidate not supported by core norths ( north east and north west) will never win presidential election in Nigeria.
But 2023 election proved us wrong. Both Tinubu and Wike insisted on Southern presidential candidate and they won absolutely. This is what brought Wike and Tinubu together.
The northern politicians in APC didn't support Tinubu in primary election. To everybody amazement, he won even without Buhari's support.
Another blow from Wike is that of Atiku, a high profile northern political elite and politician. Wike insisted that Atiku is a northerner, therefore he shouldn't stand as PDP presidential flag bearer after Buhari 8 years in office. Atiku refused, Wike held on to his scrotum and he fell yakata.
These two scenarios brought Wike and Tinubu together. The two Southern warriors
The success of Tinubu and Wike is what is driving many governors from the south into APC before any other thing.
It is now proven that no region not even two can single handedly make anybody Nigerian president. The six geo political zones have almost equal political relevance.
it Good to lie to yourself 1 . Elrufai 2 Ganduje,3 Masari 4 Bello All Yoruba Men rally support to Ensure Emilokan got the presidency and APC tickets they even took on FGN when no Yoruba could . 2 the North Gave Tinibu wining vote including winning North West and North central more than his Southern Nigeria. Data don't lie .
damilola4162: Embattled cryptocurrency trading platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), has quietly resumed operations, despite ongoing investigations into an alleged N1.2 trillion crypto fraud that impacted more than 600,000 Nigerian investors.
According to reports from Punch, verified users confirmed that the CBEX platform is now allowing new registrations, live trading, and profit withdrawals. This surprising development follows weeks of uncertainty after the platform’s abrupt collapse in April 2025.
Sources close to the company revealed that a comprehensive audit and insurance verification process are currently being conducted to assess the total financial damage. The external audit is being handled by a UK-based insurance firm and is expected to conclude by June 25, 2025. Upon completion, affected investors will reportedly gain access to their withheld funds.
The company’s revival comes shortly after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) declared CBEX illegal and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) confirmed an ongoing investigation into the firm’s operations. These regulatory concerns have sparked widespread scrutiny across Nigeria’s digital asset community.
CBEX launched in 2024, offering investors 100% returns within 30 days through an AI-driven trading model. The platform gained legitimacy in the eyes of many users after securing business registration from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on September 25, 2024, and later receiving approval from the EFCC’s Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering on January 16, 2025.
However, the trading scheme came crashing down on April 14, 2025, leaving thousands of Nigerian investors with frozen assets and raising alarms over the risks associated with unregulated crypto investment platforms.
As CBEX attempts to rebuild its reputation, investors and regulators alike remain cautious, with many calling for tighter oversight of digital trading platforms to prevent similar large-scale financial losses in the future.
The Efcc allegedly arrested Popular Nigerian entertainment mogul E-money for Naira mutilation and the news went viral.
Upon hearing the news, Very Dark man made a video questioning the integrity of the Efcc and he stated he feels the Efcc is only going after the Igbo’s. He also demanded E-money should be released !
myners007: It is profoundly disheartening that in a nation crippled by monumental corruption, institutional decay, and pervasive economic hardship, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has elected to expend its dwindling relevance on the arrest of Business Mogul, E-Money, for the ostensible offence of spraying dollars at a public event. One is compelled to ask: is this the apex of financial crime in Nigeria?
The EFCC, once envisioned as a formidable guardian of our fiscal integrity, has tragically metamorphosed into a performative agency — a toothless bulldog barking in the marketplace, seeking to impress rather than impact. Rather than channel its efforts into dismantling the entrenched networks of elite corruption, embezzlement, and fraudulent public procurement, it has chosen the path of sensationalism, pursuing high-profile figures for infractions that are, at best, symbolic.
This latest arrest reeks of clout-chasing — a hollow display of authority designed to massage public sentiment while the real architects of Nigeria's economic tragedy dine unperturbed in their ivory towers. It is almost certain that E-Money, like many before him, will regain his freedom in no time, and this episode will dissolve into yet another spectacle with no meaningful consequence.
Until the EFCC redirects its energies toward substantive economic crimes and the prosecution of powerful kleptocrats, it will remain a caricature of its intended purpose — loud, visible, but ultimately ineffectual.
Zico5: El-Rufai is right on this one. Anyone following politicians on empty stomach is deranged and mad. We all know that politicians are always about satisfying their ego. They love no one so far their interests are met. Voting Tinubu again is what everyone should reject in it's totality. It's pure votes for suffering again. No one must trust anyone surrounding himself with the likes of Akpabio and Wike. They all mean no well for this country.
A silly online Tinibu that him and his Kins in Southwest can no longer afford bread and beans . He will never list any achievement of TInibu on why he should continue . Instead South South Lock down by Decamping
ogashman: Oga u re using mouth to drive a car....where will APC's votes come from with this tinubus abysmal performance? Abi u re talking about rigging
he taking about Elite voting with there Families bases in UK
NC, have been pampering even though they have been our long time allies not to talk of some states we have resemblance
Shettima is from NE, at worst he can still deliver 40%
South West is locked unshaken
We only need 20% of the votes from NW.
Sadly there no 1 percent from from the Northwest and 5 percent from the North east . Elites decamping in south south doest translate to Tinibu inflicted suffering in the South south to disappear
wizelink: My dear, your projections were based on historic data and voting patterns which implies collection of data from 1999-2023, analysing the data then drawing up your conclusion based on the analysis.
I hope you do not take what happened in the last election, 2023 as historic and voting patterns. It is faulty to draw your inference on historic data and voting patterns from that.
How many times has LP engaged in elections since 1999 and what were the positions won pre-2023 election?
when we say voting pattern meaning similar pattern . Example IBO people vote in particular patterns votes cast in single direction Lp ,PDP while in North it splitting patterns always
wizelink: I don't believe so. Most of the states that were PDP pre-APC and Pre-BAT are now APC states and this realignment will definitely change the voting patterns.
wrong Delta was PDP governor and VP candidates but they voted LP Edo was PDP they voted LP Kano was APC governor voted NNPP Jigawa was APC Governor voted PDP Katsina APC voted PDP Yobe APC governor voted PDP Lagos APC voted LP
