CyberG: History can never be changed! Like truth, NO matter how hard you try to hide it, it ALWAYS catches up to you. Nigerians ought to know Ojukwu and his band of secessionist Ibos who lead Nigeria to a war that consumed 3 M+ lives, mostly the Iboz he claimed to lead. You be the judge as he speaks in his own words. Let us have an intellectual debate on this issue Nigerians and not sentimental arguments from which there is no benefit. I will be back!

Bliss4Lyfe: Wislet: NAIRALAND MODERATORS, IS IT THAT YOU GUYS LIKE ALL THIS NONSENSE THAT GO ON ON THIS SITE??
Lock this meaningless thread.
Why are there three threads referring to a war long past?
Why so much insults among users over it??
And who is that senile person that brought this one to the front page?
GROW UP (SUPPOSED ADULTS).
You guys make yourselves look and sound ridiculous.
War war war everywhere.
It is those that have never experienced the ills of war that talk so senselessly.
You people should respect yourselves here.

Wislet: IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE IGBO, IGNORE THIS MEANINGLESS THREAD.
Do not dignify it with a reply- front page or not.
If anyone wants to fight, let him engage the dog at his backyard.
What ridiculous behaviour.

Seconded.

At least, they are employed hoping for salary by month end.living in little hut with constant power supply, water, good medical attention, and still send that sends that little he earn to the country you say he hated, saving up hoping to return and make his country better.
Learn how to love mr.man.they are going through that because of what narrow minded pple like you caused.
HiiiPower: Are those road sweepers at Euston and Victoria stations diasporans?
Are those on early morning cleaning also diasporans?
Are the security guards diasporans?
Are the care workers and factory workers diasporans?
Those are the majority of Nigerians outside Nigeria.
Heck, they live hand to mouth daily. Yet in the process
of gagging and trying to create new identities, they label themselves
as "diasporans" just to feel better than the rest. It's naff!

I'm Nigerian and I love Nigeria.

PoliticsFour Nigerians by eduson77(op): 3:26pm On Sep 29, 2012
FOUR Nigerian professional golfers have been drawn to play
in the second event of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
Tour, which holds from September 30 to October 3 at the
Saadiyat Golf Club, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with $50,000
in prize money.
MENA Golf Tour, according to its promoters, is seeking to
create “new windows of playing opportunities” for all
international pros, MENA national pros and their amateurs with
a view to helping them advance their game as well as
enhance the overall development of golf in the region.
The top three pros and the leading amateurs from the Order of Merit will receive special invitations to
compete in the 2012 Omega Dubai Desert Classic and, possibly, other European Tour events in the
region.
The Nigerians are returning to action with a chance to redeem their reputation barely five days after all
members of the four-man team, which featured in the maiden event of the tour - the Dubai Creek Open
- failed to make the cut.
European Tour three-time winner, Zane Scotland, showed class and great strength of character as he
finished the job in superb fashion. The Englishman held off a late charge from experienced Stephen
Dodd to win the tourney.
Scotland, once hailed as the new Tiger Woods when he won a nationwide competition titled, Search
For A Tiger, aged just 14, closed his final round with a tidy one-under-par 70 to go eight under for the
tournament. The score placed him two shots better than Dodd and three off Pakistan’s Mohammed
Miner.
The Nigerian players who took part in the maiden event are Kingsley Oparaku, Sam Agbeyegbe,
Francis Isuku and Emeka Obi. The best placed of the quartet in that tourney was Oparaku, who was
also the only returning Nigerian player, having made his debut last year. He fired +6 in his second
round to miss the cut by five strokes.
Like his compatriots, Okparaku blamed his lackluster outing on the searing heat, which he said was
over 40°C and causing them extreme discomfort. According to the Nigerian players, matters were
made worse when they had to tee off their first round in the afternoon just two days after arriving in
Dubai.
They said they would have performed better had they been on ground to accclimatise to the weather.
However, to miss the cut, Agbeyegbe shot +16, Francis Isuku, +17, while Emeka Obi was 13 shots
adrift.
In the second event, Agbeyegbe will be the first Nigerian to taste action as he is drawn to play
alongside Englishman James Housby and Jakes Shepherd of the United Kingdom. They will tee off at
12:23.
Okparaku, Wira Saleh of Brunei Darussalam and David Gray of Scotland will follow at 12:32 while Obi,
playing alongside Paul Wilson, will have his turn at 12:41. The last group, which will tee off at 12:50,
has Isuku playing side by side Englishman Daniel Owen and Ross McGowan of the United Kingdom.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Being Scorned And Mocked In Malawi by eduson77(m): 2:22pm On Sep 29, 2012
and?
cjrane: Hehehhehhehheh. LMFAO! Goodluck Jonathan went to Jamaica and promised them almost free crude oil to ensure there is cheap and regular fuel in Jamaica, but the same Jamaican read that just in January,he wanted to raise fuel price in his own country.

He told Jamaican he would send Nigerian doctors, road engineers and university lecturers paid for by the Nigerian Federal government as technical aid corps to help Jamaica's healthcare, universities etc. The last time i check,Jamaica was ranked much higher in the Human Development Index(Including healthcare delivery and tertiary education). In other words, Jamaica should be sending Nigeria free doctors etc and not the other way round.

President Goodluck Jonathan told Malawians he would buy all their rice and help them drill and begin oil production around Lake Malawi, Nigeria is currently hoping to halt rice importation and Nigeria cannot drill a borehole without oyinbo equipments. So it means we shall import equipment for Malawi to develop their oil, while we haven't developed the abudant oil in Sokoto,Lake Chad,Benue and Anambra oil basins.

This is what happens to a prince when he deliberately destroy his father's palace. Let us keep ruining Nigeria so that these poverty stricken places can mock Nigeria. I don't blame Malawians for protesting that Nigerians should not be allowed to enter their country like that.Saudi Arabia just deported 1000 Nigerian Muslims for nothing in very inhumane condition, and didn't even bother to issue a diplomatic statement why it did so.Soon Somalia will ban Nigerians from seeking their visas to come and fish or learn piracy in the Indian ocean. Hehehehe !

According to research,Nigeria rated the most rejected and hated country around the globe not minding her achievements or strenght.

Oxd int quots:Nigerians should stop screeming all over the internet;its time they go outthere and take actions."die once and die no more".

Its high time nigerians speak criticaly to her government by showing anger and love of the nation by action.writing on internet alone cannot help it because none of her leader(Obj,GEJ or atiku )have time to browse the net and read worthless lines. They are kid no more..
