I work in a private company in somewhere Lagos. I got this job after some months of desperate job hunt.

When I started this job in January 2017, I thought I would grow and get some promotions maybe within the shortest time frame. So I gave my all.

Now the problem is that my boss wants to engage me for 24 hours. She calls me anytime she feels like to process some documents and respond to clients' inquiries. Even at midnight and beyond. At first, I thought it was because of the pressure we faced during the season but this continued even as I type this.

I have tried to curtail this behavior of hers but she is not giving up.


The most annoying part of this is that whenever her children are given assignments in their schools, she would tell them to give it to me to solve for them without minding my personal schedule. Her children attends one of the best schools here in Lagos.

I have personally told her to respect my unofficial hours and avoid adding unofficial assignments to my job description but she wouldn't listen.

At a point, I tactically delayed the assignment for days and she started complaining that I am incompetent.

I have made up my mind to quit the job at any slightest opportunity but the role I play in the company is very critical that I can't just wake up one day and resign.

Though she rarely praises me, a couple of her friends have told me how she boasts of my competence and the innovations and values I have added to the company..

Note that three months into the job, she offered me a one bedroom flat at her boys quarters and I didn't hesitate to accept because the place is somewhat closer to the office than where I lived. And sometimes, I join her in the car to the office in the morning thereby saving some fare cost.

Please, I need all the ideas you can give me to handle the situation.

I am grieved,The boy i saw when he was given birth to,The boy i backed,The boy i trained etc.
We all started living with my grandfather when we were born because he(grandfather) wants an happy family.
Everything changed last year,the family separated because we(grand children) want to live with our parent.
My 10 years old cousin got admission into SS1 in a private school last year,he started coming home with much cash but the mother(A single parent) over looks it because she do give him huge cash as pocket money.
On wednesday he came home around 12pm from school,stole his mums 30k to buys a BMX bicycle,the mother was angry to the extend he called my elder he told him everything.We had to return the bicycle but we couldn't recover the whole cash because the bicycle seller turned it to a fight, but we settled everything.
The mum took him to school for him to be punished but revelations started revealing itself
1.It been long he attended school,every blessed morning he do leaves home saying he's going to school which is false
2.His school fees which was given to him by his mum he spent the whole 50k.
3.He's a gambler,he rolls dice.
4.He's a smoker.
We haven't descipline him because we believes we(my elder brother and i) should tell him the dangers of his behaviour but he still smoke yesterday in an hiding place but my neigbhour caught him.
What should i do...
I'm suggesting the mum should send him to navy or army boarding school.
The mum is tired of him.
I told him that if he joins any cult i wouldn't mind joining the Nigeria force just to take him down..

Please help me

You are really correct,they usually have this dull look on their faces without makeup,some even look like the bottom of aluminum pot...
But it's mostly with African women though,especially in the morning before having a bath...
It's actually their real look though,but due to the fact that we are always seeing them with makeup,their natural dull look now appears strange in the eyes of most people...

My dear,many things in the Bible are not logically feasible or possible,that's why science does not agree with the book...
Most times,Christians just shut down their brains to accept what is written in the Bible...
What baffles me most is when I hear my fellow medical doctors quote;'out of the abundance of the heart,the mouth speaketh forth', and we all know that the heart as a cardiovascular pump is incapable of mental reasoning which is the exclusive function of the Cerebrum(in the brain)...
why should the heart be erroneously used to refer to the mind(as erroneously implied by the error defenders)
There are so many errors in the Bible,coupled with the fact that it was written in several languages with many inconsistencies in interpretation...
Some passages even contradict themselves....
Some scriptures are still missing till this day...
Some that were found,have no where to fit in...
concerning the issue of Cain,NO BODY ON EARTH CAN GIVE YOU THE CORRECT ANSWER...
Some over zealous church goers will just start misquoting the Bible for you and quoting out of context from their myopic understanding...
