Most of them have double standards...
Most of them don't really know what they want...
Most of them don't know the meaning of feminism...
Most of their feminism campaigns are born out of their personal needs...
Most of them are actually hiding behind feminism as a cover screen for their frustrations especially in the area of being naturally inferior to men, delayed marriages, failed marriages,dumbness,menopause... etc
Most of these so called feminists still prefer men to pay their bills...
100% of the feminists on nairaland are actually struggling with real life frustrations, insecurities and failures...
Most of these feminists are desperately searching for husbands to salvage their situations
May the almighty God help these feminists before they finally sink into chronic depression and nervous breakdown...

Whoever did it forgot to completely crop off the straps from the swim bra of both girls...
I can still see pink and black straps suspended on their photoshoped bare trunks...
The girl that is slightly behind still has an incomplete neck band and pendant suspended on her photoshoped neck...
Whoever did this photoshop is just one of the typical average Nigerian youths whose only understanding of creativity is using photoshop that was developed by their fellow youths from the other end of the globe;and their fellow dimwits will be celebrating them.

Farmerforlife:
Madame, I will inform you of the stark reality of your situation...stop basing your values on hysterical telenovelas.

Where were you when they were spending sleepless nights taking care of your husband for the first 3 decades of his life, making him into what he is today? Now you want to come out of nowhere into the picture and take him away from doing his duty to them. If my wife made a similar statement, that would be the beginning of the end of our marriage. When you marry a man, you marry his family, it is not an either... or... deal. If you are so fragile that the presence of his family affects your health, go stay in a hotel. They want to exercise their right upon their child and grandchildren.

No offense intended.
100% correct... Women think they can just hack into a man's life and become number one...

We used to be love birds before his parents came visiting us. I had very good relationship with his whole family before his parents came and spoilt it all. I am the quiet type that hardly react to things, but one thing I hate is oppression. Because of all they did to me, to the extent of me having a miscarriage as a result of stress, I lost trust in them. But in all those, after they left, I still called them to say hello because they remain my husband’s parents forever. Because of all they did to me, my husband promised me that they would not visit us anymore since I almost lost my life.
After a few months, my husband started to tell me his parents were coming from Nigeria to spend another six months with us. I felt betrayed by my husband. I started to feel he did not value my life. I am not against him showing love to his parents, in fact,I still sent them money. He knows that bring them into our home is trouble for me. The worst is that he is also bringing in his brother and his wife to come live with us for six months too. *His brother does not like me, because their parents don’t like me*. Even if he want to support his brother, he can do it outside our home. I even volunteered to work to help pay rent for his brother and his wife, because I want peace in my home. All these to no avail. When I complain about the way he put his family’s interest before me and our kids (our kids that his mother treated badly because she hate me, to the extent that the older one became scared of her) he tells me that I am being inconsiderate. Thousands of pounds were spent to take care of my medical bills when his parents were in our house. Though the govt paid it, but all the suffering was bore by me alone
I need advice please!!! My home has become a quarrel zone. We now hardly stay 1 week without quarelling, when I say anything, he relates it to his family and tells me he must help them. I am not against him helping them, but I think helping them from a distance is more healthy for the family we both have together. I believe in HEALTHY DISTANCE, but my husband do not see things in this light.
Please don’t mind my English.
Maybe you should threaten to move out if they come... Then see if he could change his mind...
The summary of everything is that marriages suck...

I don't think UI is less or more competitive than ABU. I school in ABU, and I tell you if your brother could top your state he'd surely be admitted... All he needs to do, is to study H-A-R-D-E-R for Post-Utme (who said 100% or 400/400 is impossible?).. No university will refuse to admit you when you merit it (especially into MBBS).

That said....Less competitive universities to me connotes state-owned universities...
Some federal Universities are less competitive than others(check jamb statistics for number of applicants each year)
UI is more competitive than your ABU based on number of applicants that applied in the respective schools(check jamb statistics,it was published online and the National dailies)
Facts are better than opinions...
Statistics are better than assumptions...

AgricultureRe: Palm Oil! Palm Oil !! Palm Oil !!! by eezeribe(m): 8:38pm On Mar 20, 2018
flobale:
Dear Madam Peace Oluwabiyi @Peeo (John E. Linda),
I have tried to reason with you for so long……Now I have come to my full stop!
I will use this medium to recall my history with you.
I came to Uyo sometimes in May, 2017(3/5/2017) all the way from Abuja to buy oil from you. I bought 37 Kegs of Palm oil and paid you for that.
I sent you N237,600 via your account for more kegs of Palm oil. I never got the Palm oil or the money back even when I told you I needed to use the money to pay my rent. Again my Dad passed away in November 2017 and buried 15th December again, you promised and never gave me even if it were part of it to to use in burial preparation of my late Father as the first born.
In January, 2018 we spoke once again and you lamented crying about your predicaments, I reminded you that I took loan to go into this business as a second income stream for my family and that I will be paying the loan for a period of three years. Also that the palm oil I stored I am yet to find buyer for it. To this you responded that there is company is into soap making that you could help sell it for me, as you usually sold to them. You also said that they do not default in paying 2 week max, I will be paid. I told you the minimum I will sell my Palm oil for was N12,000 (which is still at a loss).
You told me not to discuss with them when they come as they are just logistic persons and don’t know about the business. Fortunately they came dressed in their uniform (Heal Mass Agrotech). They left with 34 kegs of palm oil (11/1/2018).
Two weeks later I called you, you said you were in a meeting seeking new opportunity and that you will call me later but you never did. You text me to send you the breakdown of you liability to me, which I did as thus;
N237,600 + N408,000 + N34000 = N679,600 (N34000, being the cost for 34 kegs as bought via you in Uyo).
I have confirmed from the Heal Mass Agrotech, that you have being fully paid plus interest, I don’t mind that you made interest on this deal. I just want my money.
Madam Peeo, I never thought it will come to this before you pay me my money.
You have from Today to till tomorrow to pay me every dime you owe me!
Has she paid you the money?

Such freestyle posts should be created in the 'general' section... It actually exists;but has a very low traffic compared to the likes of romance,business,politics... etc.

How can someone drop out of medical school in 600 level. I don't believe this ur analysis o.
I don't need you to believe because I wasn't communicating with you...Just know that some schools have a maximum of four attempts in the 5th MBBS.... even before then,Paediatrics has been a rate limiting factor for many people.
BusinessRe: Why Does MTN And Others Pay Rent On Premisee Where Masts Are Installed? by eezeribe(m): 12:54pm On Mar 17, 2018
Most times, the landlords prefer leasing instead of outright sale...
Where possible, the network operators do make outright purchase of the suitable area of land...
It depends on feasibility of the prevailing logistics of operation...

Please can anyone help with information? My younger sister dropped out of medicine in one of the federal universities in 400 level. She said she wrote and passed the first professional examination in 300 level and got promoted to 400 leve, but couldn't pass 400 level exams. She dropped out then because she was frustrated.

Now, she wants to go back to complete her studies. Please what are her chances? Can she get transferred into another university? Can she be given admission into 200 Level or 400level in another university? Please, which university do you suggest?

And does anyone have any information about University of Medical Sciences, Ondo? Do you think they can admit her into 400 level there? What is the school fees and what are her chances? Please your responses will be appreciated.
I don't know about private universities;but if she decides to come back to medicine via Federal University, she would have to write UTME and start all over from pre-med(100 level)
I know people who even dropped out in 600 level and had to start all over from year one in the same school...

RomanceRe: Dependent Attitude Of Nigerian Girls In Relationships: Poverty Or Greed? by eezeribe(m): 5:23am On Mar 14, 2018
Prechbills:
I have had discussions with several of my fellow female folks and work colleagues over the issue of the "Responsibilities" of a boyfriend in a relationship and to my dismay, almost all had the same beliefs. Most of them believed that their boyfriends wer the ones saddled with the responsibilities of;

-paying for their new hair-do

-buying new phones for them

-sending them airtime regularly

-giving them monetry allowances

-buying them clothes and shoes....etc

The list is endless.

Most even argued that if he (their bf) wants them to look good, he must be ready to spend.

In my mind i was like "WTF!" isnt that their father's responsibilty?

The only exceptions i came across were some of the ladies who were raised abroad and a few who were born in upper class families.

Those ones have a very different mentality. They believed that it was after getting a gud education and subsequently a gud job wud they be able to take care of themselves and buy watever they need.

The scenario got me thinking...

Is Poverty to blame for the general attitude of our naija babes or are they just Greedy?
Entitlement mentality and Laziness... But it is my fellow men that spoilt women.
My fellow men actually rent apartments and buy cars for ladies whose fathers don't own a bicycle just because of sex...
My friend took his new catch in his Venza to an eatery, while he went to queue for sharwama, his catch was sitting in the car, listening to cool music while the air conditioner was chilling...
Dear Men,the monsters you created because of lack of sexual control have come back to haunt you.
