Thanks for all your write ups I have been following this thread,they have really been of great help to me securing my admission to a school in Canada. I applied for admission to study and I got the admission in 2nd of March 2021 this year,in the letter am suppose to resume May 17th...I was able to submit all my documents by April 20th 2021,paid visa fee and have done biometric. But am worried right now, I don't know if I gave the Embassy enough time to make a decision on my application knowing fully well I will be resuming in May 17th. What can i do right now,I need your advice. Thanks sir.

Since you 'uploaded' all documents today, that's merely uploading.

To submit your application, you must pay Visa fee and Biometrics fee.

Please go back to your portal and do that first.

Since you are submitting in April, the probability of getting a visa approval at the time you really need it (May) is slim.

Okay. Even if i dont get the approval when i really need it, is there a possibility will get later even if it means defering the admission ?

Sorry don't get it twisted. Your resumption date is may 17 and you submitted today 19th April, 2021 and already worried ?. If you worry what should people that submitted since September, October, November, December and even January do ? Cry ?. I heard processing time now is 20 weeks but no two applications are the same you may get approval tomorrow so don't worry. Just pray and wait. Patience is key !!!!

Okay. Even if the time for me to resume pass, can i still get the study permit visa approved? Please i still dont understand.

These days it takes longer than a month for study permit to be approved. I would advise you defer the admission to maybe fall 2021 intake ( depending on the program). Just get in touch with your school & defer the admission, & hopefully before then your study permit must have landed.

Okay. You saying if i defer the admission i might still get the study permit,please i dont understand...
