No he isn't responsible for what people post, but he's responsible for centoring and monitoring the conversations on the site to ensure this brand (Nairaland) has the right perception.

if I and others feel Nairaland is a place for extremists, it's a bad perception which would affect the brand.

Honestly nairaland used to be a fun and well respected forum ,but its has lost it juice. If u post anything these days , u go first chop small insults. Just bunch of losers everywhere smh

You're absolutely correct....I miss the good old days. where you could post a problem and get empathy and solutions to your problems, not the 'Are you blind', 'Good for you', 'don't you know' crew

I don't understand that creeping lack of empathy or sympathy on this forum. it wasn't this way. The the past you could bring your very personal disturbing problems, share on the forum and get loads of constructive advice and help.

These days there's just so much bitterness! I can't use the word hate! it would mean there's a connection. A random strange posts a problem that needs solving, the first page is a barrage of Insults, shaming, derogating, the 'didn't you know' group. if he knew he wouldn't ask for your help.

There's so much hatred between tribes, sex, political groups. You post your opinion (by the way it's your opinion), you can Insulted, bashed, pick on.....for you political preference or difference.

Look Seun, it the short run, it looks harmless, but I promise you in the long run it will definitely have devastating effects on the psyche of this forum.

If we can't tolerate and respect the views of our neighbour, no matter how diverse and strange, what society are you then creating. Major transformation starts with groups, Nairaland is a group!

So Mods, please intensity your jobs, I implore you. More bans, more suspension of outright shutting of accounts........the cynicisists, the cowards, the haters, the shamers, etc have no place on this forum.....dictate the brand you want Nairaland to be.

I saw that post......and found it entertaining..... the comments that followed were a bit surprising though.

As a guy If you're always in the midst of girls you'd totally understand that post was totally harmless.

But then you have these guys that have little or no real life interaction with girls, their intelligence is either gotten from nairaland, Facebook or some b-rated movie.......

Well, as Jesus Christ made clear in that passage, the first salvation is from the condemnation of sin(Death) which God cursed the people of Israel with. The second salvation to follow is only obtained by those who stand faithful in Jesus Christ until the end —Matthew 24 vs 13 & Mark 13 vs 13 and it is unto righteousness.

They phrasing of your response might be different from mine, but myself and most Christians I know agree with this viewpoint......which in summary it's by Faith in Jesus we receive righteousness.
