Even though I will be visiting soon,(God willing) I doubt I can stay for more than 3 months!, furthermore, I doubt I can attend full time. What do you recommend? I actually have my own clothing label/line, check out the website & FB (MUFTEAS). NOTE: I have no sewing experience or idea, I design all the clothing & I own a sewing machine.

First you need to train dear......during the training (hopefully from a good school o. ......coz plenty places dey wey be say you go just wasty ya money finish and you get nothing ) you would be tought all these things to help you improve........fashion is fun.....

Rawdeal: Hello guys. I usually follow this thread in ghost mode. I was going to sew the Orla Kierly (sp?) dress but I had a backlog of half sewn clothes which I was too depressed to complete. Wateva sha, didn't sew this one but I did complete an old project and I honestly have u guys to thank. Onnari and Efosa you make it look so easy

I learnt with patterns and the woman that taught me didn't actually knw how to sew so a lot of money went down the drain. Big regret. Pattern making from the Helen armstrong book isn't easy for bodice at all.

I'll try free hand this week again (I learnt some cutting patterns) and see how it goes.
In case I never post again, thank y'all for the encouragement (even from those still learning because your zeal has been helpful) cos I was going to drop sewing entirely. Thank you.

Rawdeal,thanks for appreciating us,and i am really sorry about your past expirience,but pls do not let such things kill your love for this beautiful profession...........this also goes out to any one trying to give up on sewing,i know it can get really hard sometimes but trust me you will get to a stage where the process becomes very easy.this can only happen if you keep learing and practising.
