The Americans invaded a peaceful Iraq, removed her leader and created an Islamic terrorism in the country. Did the Americans end the insurgency they created before leaving Iraq? Capital NO. The Americans simply ran away from the bombings and suicide bombs in Iraq. Till date, Iraq is in turmoil from the activities of Islamic terrorists. Can we then say the Americans were clueless?

Another example is what happened in Mali. Islamic terrorists were causing havoc and mayhem in the north of Mali. The military said the civillian president was clueless and took over power. What followed? The Islamic terrorist overwhelmed the north of Mali and took complete control of strategic parts of the country. Presently, France and other ECOWAS nations are battling to flush out the Islamic militants. Who then was clueless?

We have Islamic terrorism in Pakistan going on for decades. Is it because successive leaders of Pakistan are clueless?

There's Islamic terrorism in Afghanistan, where the Americans and legitimate Afghan govt have been battling to curb. But so far, no success. Can we say the Americans and Afghan govt are clueless?

In case you dont know, I also criticised president Jonathan for not privatising the refineries. I want those refineries privatised as soon as possible. Also, I criticised GEJ for inadequate preparation for major interviews and some media briefings. I know its not easy for presidents that have to deliver several speeches in a day, but a little more preparation will make some difference.

talktimi: I see this problem in two ways, either GEJ can't arrest the sponsors because of the ethnic and religeous backlash that will fall out bearing in mind that the sponsors are very important & influential members of the northern society. Arresting them now could just spark off another civil war which Nigeria will not survive because there will be retaliatory killings and it won't just stop at the ibos who are the usual victims but can extend to the yorubas & other ethnic groups. Once it affects the yorubas, you can be sure they will retaliate no questions asked thereby encouraging other tribes to do the same. The second scenario that could be playing out is that he's just containing the BH wahala now, taking out the foot soldiers with the aid of the JTF while biding his time against 2015 elections when he will play his joker & start arresting the sponsors who mostly happen to be his main opposition especially within the PDP and the BH will be the ones to cause their problems because I predict a carnage worse than the Kano bombings which will generate outrage across the nation, spurring the president seemingly into action thereby leading to the arrest of these sponsors and henchmen, I said this with the niger delta militants and I'll say it again, BH can be wiped out within a fortnight.
