He wasted his opportunities. He has done more articulated reasoning in the past 2wks than he has in 5yrs.

We do not want a reactionary president who is clueless of what to do. NeverAgain to this type of Kindergarten Presidency. Things must Change.

Find out what happened to then Maitatsine sect that was like Boko Haram then, the Chadian soldiers who invaded Nigeria and the Cameroonians who invaded Calabar.

Buhari is Tested and Trusted. Jonathan can wear costumes - it does not make any difference.

Buhari is the man and even Jonathan knows it.
Politics › Re: Who/what Is A TANOID? by egift(m):
Here is my little explanation on the emergence of TANiods.
- Jonathan spent 5yrs doing I-Don't-Give-A-Dam and when he realized that in an open contest, he will not get the PDP ticket, let alone a reelection he commenced the efforts to bribe anyone who can accept.

- When it was not working, to stimulate a fictitious mass support, he dispatched on of the Subsidy Scammers that defrauded Nigeria (Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah of Capital Oil and Gas Limited) to start Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN).

- Due to his current Failures and no new Ideas for reelection, many of these TAN members where just having few monotones to promote GEJ. And they were all echoing this "Jonathan Till Whatever" like little android robots.

Given rise to their new identity of Cluelessness (TAN + Andriods) = TANiods

The sad party is that till date despite the trillions looted, Jonathan and his TANiods are still banking on rigging, insults, smear campaign and power of incumbency as their only hope to reelection.

Majority of Nigeria will vote for Change despite all the Dollars he is sharing. grin grin grin

Change Lagos first even Fashola, after 8years have not turn Lagos to New York.
Your desperation is on display. Or you just want Lagos to be like Abia, Kogi, etc. APC has maintained a steady hand of leadership from Tinubu (who maintained efficiency even when OBJ ceased LSG funds), to Fashola who has done more in Lagos that Jonathan in the presidency (See this thread https://www.nairaland.com/2180887/fasholas-8-years-gej-fg ).

Leadership is not a game of Strength. BTW, Buhari can still break Jonathan's jaw in a ring fight.

Buhari brings the wealth of experience, willingness and Character needed to lead Nigeria of the 21st Century. Just look at how the two team have ran their campaigns - Buhari and his team have done a great job to the extent that Jonathan is the one begging to debate Buhari so as to have the opportunity to share a stage with the Man of the Moment.

First why would you want to subject grandfather Buhari to heartattack by voting him as president. He's old and may likely join Yaradua thanks to your support with pressures from office.

Buhari said christians should not worry when they get their arms chopped off.

He has already ruled Nigeria so did he forget his kettle in Aso rock.He should kindly ask Jeg to throw it down through the window cos seriously there's no VACANCY in Aso Rock.

My appeal finally is that you should go home and sleep over this matter. Don't be in a hurry to comment.

I used that word because of your points as regards why must it be buhari? Because all those points are all hypothesis and many are totally flawed.

I wanted change but not a person like buhari. I was happy at the merger of parties because I was thinking God had touched tinubu and Buhari and they will use their power to push someone like fashola but the greed and power hungry nature of buhari became evident as always.

I am voting GEJ if I will vote at all because I don't see a better option at the moment.
No hard feelings. We all just need to keep it civil and believe God to grant us a Peaceful Elections that is Free, Fair, Transparent and Credible.

Unless you choose to be disingenuous, you must recall the famous words of Buhari on Abacha....The late military Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, did not loot the national treasury contrary to the general impression, two military former heads of state have said.

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, who ruled Nigeria between 1983 and 1985, and his successor, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, gave Abacha the clean bill in Kano yesterday after the rememberance prayers marking 10 years of the death of Abacha, who ruled between 1993 and 1998...

Since then...Channels Island to return £315m Abacha loot

DECEMBER 1, 2014 BY NAN
States of Jersey in the Channels Island will return to Nigeria £315m, seized from the late Sani Abacha, says Michael Birt, the island’s civic head.

'Abacha loot': Nigeria to get $227m from Liechtenstein

“FG uncovers fresh N3.2trillion Abacha loot”, reporting that the billions of dollars stashed away in foreign bank accounts by the late military dictator, Gen. Sani Abacha, may far exceed the already established US$ 5 billion, as a Special Investigation Panel (SIP), tracing what has now become ‘Abacha loot’, stumbled on fresh clues indicating that the stolen funds still trapped in offshore accounts stand at over 3.2 trillion Naira.

On pa Buhari himself,do you recall the all to familiar story of the 52 suitcases? What about the missing NNPC 2.8 billion Naira?

So much for your 'man of integrity'.
[/s]

Buhari called for concrete evidence from the Government and not the eye service. Instead of Prosecuting the Abachas, Jonathan gave them Award, withdraw the case against them and was pushing Abacha son as Governor. Now who supports the Abacha more?

BTW, Jonathan is far more Corrupt than Gen. Abacha - FACT.

Very good, so why must it be Buhari? (He is from the North)...is he better than any of the names u and I have listed in terms of performance?..why must he rule? If APC had fielded a fashola, I am sure that even Jonathan would have been campaigning for the APC. Change would have been a foreseeable reality, but NO, it must be buhari!!!...a man with soooooo many errors!!!!
Why Must It Be Buhari?
- He has a proven record of good leadership.
- He has the character and political will to effect the needed Change.
- As Buhari has proven over time and again, he is not greedy and corrupt. His quest is to do what is right and not amass wealth for himself. Also he do not allow others to loot.
- For Buhari, the Rule of Law is sacrosanct. No sentiments or personal favours. Everyone plays according to the same law of the land.
- While Buhari can seek counsel, he does not take orders from anyone.
- A Buhari's Presidency is a Mass movement far beyond Buhari as a person. In fact there are many who will vote Buhari even if he say don't.
- Buhari has a good record of getting the best out of his subordinates as long as they play by the rule and work hard towards the set objectives. See Idiagbon and his directors at PDTF. Dora Akunyili was one of them.

Jonathan's corrupt administration is unsustainable. Nigerians need Change and Buhari is the man.

Hey Jonathan, will you also appoint a Yoruba as the Vice President of Nigeria? If NO - then forget it. APC/Buhari also have a better offer. Also the SW will be a major stakeholder in Buhari's regime than what your Corrupt Administration can offer.

My Joy is that my own Ndigbo do not play opposition Politics. And with Dr. Ogbonaya Onu, Rochas and Ngige in APC - Ndigbo will not have difficulties making in-road to Supporting Buhari's Presidency.

Oga while you lament about Buhari serving under Gen. Sani Abacha, do ask yourself the following:
- How many of those working with Jonathan served and supported Abacha?
- Why is it despite the Corruption in that regime, Buhari came out as a very bright star?
- Despite heading one of the richest institution in that regime, after 16yrs of scrutiny, not even a kobo was found to was stolen by him? OBJ who did the most elaborate investigation, said nothing was found against Buhari and is today support his ambition.

As I said, only the very corrupt politicians and their agents who do not want to stop looting Nigeria are against Buhari as the President of Nigeria.

Just the same way the WAI rules were childish and lame during the Buhari tenure.
If I am a politician who has stolen so much money and I know buhari will be a problem, I can simply just steal much much more then if buhari wins, I will relocate to a better country and enjoy my life. Report kooor, report ni....with the people surrounding buhari? They should tell us something else. Amaechi is still owing more than 15000 ex corpers N110,000 each since june 2013!!!!! Buhari should start there for now by advicing his colleague, Rotimi amaechi to shun corruption and pay these people their money!!!
Under Buhari if you steal there will be consequences - that both of us agree on. As for the massive Corruption Jonathan is presiding over, Buhari's administration can only recover what it can. But don't expect him to spend his entire tenure chasing criminals who have stolen in the past. However, if your case comes to light, get a lawyer and head to court and face the anti-graft agencies - no long story.

Nigerians want Buhari, so as to put a stop to the continued leakage and drain of the nations resources due to corruption, not to come and be witch-hunting. First Stop Corruption, Start massive development that reaches the grassroots, then bring justice to the past wrongs.
