@egift Buhari/Fashola ticket you are clamoring for is not feasible in this our current democratic dispensation. This is not Abiola/Akinghibe '93. So such strategy is dead on arrival.
But it remains APC's strongest hand to play. If you give it up, it will still not attract those that are badmouthing APC. And APC will also loose the support they would have retained.

Any Candidate APC present will be in power next year - FACT.

PDP denied Ribadu their ticket and gave it to Fintiri because he was in power with hope it will help Jonathan. Now that Mr Bala Ngilari is reinstated, he can easily become APC candidate since Ribadu and Marwa are out of the equation.

Up APC!!!

When 2face steps into politics then the opposition will surely dig up his past misdeeds and amplify them on the pages of newspapers.
I think Buhari will need an accomplished administrator to compliment whatever he hopes to bring to the table. Fashola's seeming grassroot support can not upturn the number of religious folks out there who still nurse the fear of Islamization (though practically not achieveable).
I think a Buhari/Yemi Osinbajo ticket will really make the election competitive.
Yemi Osinbajo has much appeal within Christian cycles and will surely attract alot of votes especially from RCCG and will go a long way to lend some credence to the integrity claim APC wishes to use as their selling point come 2015.
Those in PDP are druming the Religious devide to weaken the APC ticket. I just hope they don't fall for it.

What APC need to win in 2015 is Majority votes from the North and SW. Rochas, Ogbonnia Onu and Ngige will bring in a handful from SE. Amaechi and Sylver will also bring in a handful from the SS. Middle belt is free for all - that will be a landslide.

But if APC try to please those that will never vote them and weaken the VP slot with someone that do not guarantee massive support from the SW - then there is a problem.

Buhari/Fashola - to God be the glory!

You mean it was President Jonathan that impounded the Jet and seized the money?

Lai Mohammed is doing APC alot of disfavour by running his mouth without detailed information and so are you and all these Buhari Brigades on Nairaland

It is pertinent to note that I am yet to see a well articulated fact files in the course of debates on National or topical issues other than rabble rousing and show of contempt on anything Nigeria represents.

South Africa can easily be approach to offer some details from their investigation since it has been established that there wasn't any diplomatic attachés aboard the Jet hence APC needs to spend money to employ secret investigators to unravel the shady deal (if any) than throwing unwarranted suspicion here and there with the hope any sticks. It doesn't work this way as one or more glaring proof(s) of the authenticity of the deal under the prevailing circumstance is/are enough to portray the opposition party as being anti national progress.

- Jonathan is pushing for Sergent Rogers to become a governor.
- Have a Militant doing the job of the Nigerian Navy.
- Pipeline contract to his militants.
- One Boko-naby destroying North East, where he cannot get a handful of votes.
- Now apart from using his mouth to set Nigeria on fire, Dokubo is now smuggling arms for the Presidency.

Nigerians cannot bear another 4 years of vigorous destruction of Nigeria by the GEJ. As citizens of Nigeria, we refuse to be treated like Animals again. Vote out the zoologist.

If we were talking about presidential post , you would know iam high on weed, but for the vice presidential seat, i think 2face can get the numbers for APC, while the campaign team takes up from there

That is a divisive propaganda used in keeping you hibernated. APC is a national party. Same for APGA and PDP. In fact until recently, do you know the majority of APGA national leaders were not Ndigbo?

PDP has been using every tool imaginable to keep many impotent and unconscious enough to notice the volume of damage done to their psyche.

I have being thinking greatly and deeply concerning the forth coming election, its not like APC is going to be a saint or saviour, but i and other nigerians just want to see a change, change of party and change of faces running things.
.
I believe Buhari is a force to reckon with, so therefore, APC media, if you are reading this and you want a smooth win over pdp, go for a popular entertainer as vice president.
.
To me a Buhari and 2face idibia combination would cause great havoc for PDP
.
Buhari has the political popularity while 2face has the crowd mentality and also the grass roots love. This just an advice
I disagree with the Bold. But APC have many choices.

Buhari/Fashola

Buhari/Adams

Buhari/Oby

Kwankwaso/Fashola

Kwankwaso/Adams

Everyone in PDP knows that a Buhari/Fashola ticket has the votes need to defeat Jona/Sambo. The votes in the North and SW is enough to get a landslide. That is why you see all the panic in the faces of TANiods and even Jonathan is afraid of declaring because that will motivate aggrieved PDP members in the North and South West to join forces with APC to make it happen.

With men like Tinubu and Atiku at the background firing all canisters, this is in the bag. But Nigerians will not relent until the Zoologist is back in the Zoo. grin grin grin

If the news around is confirmed to be true then that (igbo party) is only in his mouth not from his head or heart.
I can't even forget what he did to Soludo with the same "Igbo Party" mantra. (Ngige is even a smaller case). AdaObi lured Soludo out of the possibility of contesting in any party. Asked him to join the AKPUGA - the Igbo Party. Immediate Soludo was out in the cold, they left him and struck Multi-Deal (Umeh will keep APGA, Obi will keep his loot, install a stooge, join the dinner in Abuja, APGA will sellout it voting block to PDP, while Ohaneze will lay curse on any Igboman that dare to challenge the Zoologist).

So much for drinking the Cool Aid - APGA, the Igbo Party!

overhypedsteve:
can you please explain to us how and why you think the nigerian government was wrong in the way and manner in which it made that transaction[/b]
1. The flight used was not properly cleared in Nigeria before leaving for South Africa as required by law.
2. The means and channel used in transferring the money was illegal (Nigeria has a cashless policy in place aimed to discourage actions like that).
3. Considering the volume of cash and the amount of weapon it can buy, South Africa have the authority to be dully notified. But were not.
4. How do you explain an official transaction that did not include any official aboard the flight.
5. Only a rogue nation uses a plane registered for Gospel and Missionary work to smuggle money meant for illegal arms deal.
6. The money being moved in that manner can be used for anything and diverted at any point with a trace. We only know because the got caught. Thanks to Sahara Reporters.
7. As usual, the first response were denials. The SA did not hold it and released more information, Nigerians would not have gotten a confession and acceptance.
8. The lies told, deception promulgated and shielding of the smugglers show their is more than meet the eyes.

So how can in the mist of these deception, will you not even accept that the FG made mistakes (did wrong) and even now promote it is the fault of APC? Is the money, the jet, the pilot, the passengers and the officials conducting these shady business members of APC? Or you are just angry that the thief got caught and this is a "One Day For The Owner (Nigerians)"?

Politics › Is Peter Obi Not Believing In The Igbo-party Again? by egift(op):
PDP and their followers have continuously Kele-guided my people in very possible way they can. When it was convenient, Peter Obi led the charge to tell everyone who listened that APGA was an Igbo Party. All elections that were ought to be considered by the capacity of the candidates were thrown away in the fabrication that it was going to be no party but APGA - the only reason - that it was an Igbo Party.

In fact I remember when many people said that If Ngige was in APGA (supposedly an Igbo Party), that they will vote for him massively.

Today Peter Obi has shredded his APGA membership card and embraced PDP with the whole of his heart. Does it means APGA is no longer his Igbo Party? Or like everyone predicted, the sermon was all for his personal interest (like installing his stooge, boosting his Fidelity Bank, avoiding probes, keeping his loots, etc.) The type of interests that made him, Umeh and Jonathan to lure, deceive, discredit and mess up Soludo.

I just pray that Ndigbo will wake up and stop allowing its future to be mortgaged by some few "Ndi Ogaranya" (rich men).

1. As a Christian: Am very offended that the PDP is using Christainity and the Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as a cover for their evil of money laundery and illegal arm smuggling. Perpetrating acts that leads to the deaths of human souls.

2. As a Nigerian: I am very heart-broken that our Government is looting us in every single turn imaginable. Under developing this country. Mortgaging the future of Nigeria. Sabotaging he "Labours Of Our Heroes Past". Amassing our collective fortunes as if they own it. Drowning us in loans that they have no ideas on how to repay.

3. As a Literate: I hate the insult to our sensibilities as people. Taking us for granted. Giving us lame excuses for their deliberate misrule. Installing the most incompetent folks in position of power.

Finally, I find it very unforgivable for citizens like to poster to come here and hold brief for an evil deed that is bright as day. I have no problem with people having a totally different opinion - But even the truth should be seen once in a while.

No matter how you spine this, the Federal Government were wrong on the way and manner they conducted their South African Business.

OP, you should be very ashamed for support brazen acts of corruption. Since the story broke, how many versions and denials did we get before admission?

They are looting us dry, pardoning those that already served time, throwing away court cases, throwing Federal power on people who should be locked up. You are here having the effrontery to insult the sensibilities of Nigerians. May God deliver you from the thunder that is still doing press up for you.
