The question is why the decision to cancel? Was he hoping to lay hand on the money first? Was he pressured? By Who? Was the plan for military action? - So many unanswered questions.

When the over 200 innocent girls were abducted by Boko Haram and the administration of President Jonathan depicted a very reluctant response to the incident. Millions of people were very dumbfounded at such a callous show of shame for a leader whose innocent girls were taken.

It did not take long, the hatchtag #BringBackOurGirls trended worldwide on Twitter and other major social media platforms as people shared solidarity for the immediate rescuing of the girls.

Mrs Michelle Obama, was one of the top individuals the held up a banner in support of the campaign.

115 days latter these girls are not yet back. As President Jonathan is on his visit to the United States, the Obamas have decided to leave Jonathan with a very important message - #BringBackOurGirls - by taking him to the every exact spot Mrs Obama stood and held the banner with her heart broken on the plight of the Chibok Girls.

Apart from expanding security budget and using it to get loan, there is nothing that has been achieved on security.
- No convictions,
- No sponsors arrested
- Major suspects like former governor of bornu is dining with Jonathan.
- Our soldiers are not getting better training.
- If support for BH is external, Nigeria don't know and no country is sanctioned.
- The innocent girls are still missing.
- All the boys that were killed on the day of the abduction, have been forgotten. No compensation.
- The presidency are still blaming imaginary enemies.

My verdict is that when it comes to security, the result is so bad the leader deserves to be flogged in the market square.

Here is a very straight forward way to fight Boko haram:
If you arrest suspects, interrogate them, gather information, collect evidence, charge them to court, present the evidence, get a conviction (the court will decide if they are to die, go to jail or be free - base on evidence). Now use the information collected to hunt and apprehend others and repeat the same circle. Equip and train our soldiers regularly.

But unfortunately, what we are seeing is that Boko Haram will come into a village/town and kill innocent Nigerians. When they leave, the army will come and gather the remaining able bodied folks and kill afterwards.

In the past, becoming a PDP candidate is all you need to win any elective post. Today that have changed. Even a seating Governor now has to campaign vigorously to ensure victory. This good. God bless the APC for turning things around.
