Well spoken Prof. Nigeria is greater than one man. I just pray Jonathan will turn from his ways. If not his end will not be good. The first point will be to call his dogs to order and throw those drowning him away.

Demonizing others or highlighting their failures does not make a Jonathan in the pits a mountain top.

NNPC in collaboration with the Presidency, Ministry of Petroleum and Finance diverted the proceed of the nation's revenue to other accounts against the law, some people are here insulting Sanusi for daring to ask question.

How pathetic. Very corrupt of you guys. It is now 8trillion Naira and counting. #KingOfThieves

Politics › Re: Is It That GEJ Hates Igbos Or He's Incompetent? by egift(m): 9:26am On Dec 14, 2013
OP, it is disheartening the we the great people of South-East have played ourselves to a very difficult corner. Here are some of the issues:
- Ndigbo have continued the game of self. Being all by ourselves. Biafra was a decision of necessity. But moving forward, we must integrate/collaborate with the rest of the country to possess our place in Nigeria.
- Playing a second fiddle to the Ijaw and acting as if our entire future depends on it, is not good for Ndigbo.
- Our elites play for the highest bidder. But the selfishness do not allow them to extract concrete promise/terms for dragging the rest of Ndigbo to offer support for Jonathan.
- Greediness have not allowed our 5 Governors team up and execute important projects in the south east (like the Niger Bridge).

I pray for vision, unity on purpose and ability to collaborate with rest of Nigeria for Ndigbo. If we can avoid demonizing others, we can attain greater relevance in Nigeria. But if we keep playing the type of politics exemplified by Peter Obi in 2013, we have a very difficult future in Nigerian Political Landscape.

Politics › Re: BREAKING: Jonathan Replies Obasanjo, Says Letter Self-serving, Provocative by egift(m): 11:37pm On Dec 11, 2013
1. Sanusi wrote to the Carbon telling exactly how many trillion have been stolen by his gang - Jonathan kept mute.
2. OBJ handed over a letter to his boy telling him that even if he should steal, he should at least fulfill the promise he made - Jonathan kept quiet.

Now that the letter is out, the gang members are all over the place insulting everyone. Why did they not react all this while? OBJ may not be perfect, but he is million time better that GEJ.

At this rate, the first action of anyone that come in after Jonathan is to put him behind bars. How can trillions be disappearing like a coin and all we get as response is insults? Jonathan should seat up or this will not be funny.

The only problem is that it is very difficult defending cluelessness. To sell lies to Nigerians is a serious business.

Politics › Re: Gov Elechi Calls For Scrapping Of ASUU by egift(m): 11:44am On Dec 11, 2013
Old man form tyrant. Whenever these PDP members are confronting their mismanagement they result to bogus and obnoxious tendencies. After beating his chest let him try.

Jonathan should sign the new offer he gave to ASUU. The funding is for 5 years, he need to sign the document so that ASUU do not have to go on strike before the other installments are paid. Dribbling himself will not solve any problem.
Politics › Re: Transcript Of The Letter From The CBN Gov To President Jonathan by egift(m): 2:10am On Dec 11, 2013
olabukola: Payless, cleverly and egift, no offence but please how old are you guys. To think that a Nigerian president will go to jail after his tenure is some how fullish. In a country where a corrupt minister is not even prosecuted, where a son of a governor is above the the law. If I may ask you who will put him in jail?
People have gone to jail for much less. How many more Trillions do you think he need to steal before qualifying for prison?

He have options though; he could turn himself in, end up in jail after his tenure or we give him the Ibori treatment (a country where he stash his loots can jail him - and nothing will happen - ask James Ibori).

Politics › Re: Anambra Polls: Jega Hits Back At Ngige by egift(m):
Chino can you answer the following questions specifically?
1. Is it true that the PDP candidate (Tony Nwoye) did not find his name on the register INEC used for the election despite having a valid voters card?
2. Is it true the APGA candidate (Willy Obiano) have more than one voters card, which is an offense in the electoral law as amended?
3. Is it true that the INEC Officer in-charge of Idemili (where the APC candidate came from) was paid to ensure that voting materials did not arrive in time in Ngige's stronghold?
4. Is it true that INEC subsituted the voters register? (In Anambra, there is the 2010 register INEC, a different one used in 2011, another displayed 2 weeks to the election and the one used in the election day - where many valid voters could not find their names)
5. Finally, in light of the above, and INEC admission of irregularities, do you think the result we have now is correct and accurate?

Hello everyone, just launched a new micro-job site. Most times I don't usually ask for reviews so that I don't get the mob attack. But this project is important to me and I want it done right.

First, it is a micro job site based on a good script. And the micro job niche is very competitive. We know the competition, but we are looking up to Fiverr.

1. Setup and customization is completed.
2. Now we invite you to join and post as many gigs/offers as you can.
3. We have made place to traffic (from Nairaland's banner ads here to other platforms).

Kindle suggest improvement. Thanks in advance - www.nairagig.com
Politics › Re: PTF Vs Sure P by egift(m): 1:46am On Dec 09, 2013
PTF remains one of the best government intervention programme of government in Nigeria. There are only a handful of programmes that could compare to it. It was at some point called "Alternative Government" because it was involved in many sectors.

Don't forget that SURE-P is an imitation of PTF.

In March 2011, the Suleja victims of bomb blast as captured in the pictures displayed by Weekly Trust show bedsheets supplied to the hospital 15yrs ago during Buhari's PTF was still the one being used after 12yrs of PDP (mis)rule

PDP deserve to be kick out. Nigerians can restore them if they repent and prove they can develop Nigeria. But if we keep rewarding incompetence and mediocrity - then politicians can keep toying with us.
