Can Ndigbo nominate a muslim to represent us?

Keep the tribal and regious bigotry to yourself. It is sychophants like OP that are causing others to despise us.

Ngwakwe: Whilst Yorubas should spare Fashola and defend the most secretive government ever in the history of the fourth republic.

We have already made up our minds to play Awolowo System of Politics to the extreme and have already counted and assimilated the cost.

If it was good for Western Nigeria, it will be good for South East. Is not as if we don't have Akintola with even opposing ideology.

If you like continue drinking Panadol for Ndigbo who know nothing about your existence or better get lost and be useful to yourself.
It is disheartening the we the great people of South-East have played ourselves to a very difficult corner. Here are some of the issues:
- Ndigbo have continued the game of self. Being all by ourselves. Biafra was a decision of necessity. But moving forward, we must integrate/collaborate with the rest of the country to possess our place in Nigeria.
- Playing a second fiddle to the Ijaw and acting as if our entire future depends on it, is not good for Ndigbo.
- Our elites play for the highest bidder. But selfishness do not allow them to extract concrete promise/terms for dragging the rest of Ndigbo to offer support for Jonathan.
- Greediness have not allowed our 5 Governors team up and execute important projects in the south east (like the Niger Bridge).

I pray for vision, unity of purpose and ability to collaborate with the rest of Nigeria. If we can avoid demonizing others, we can attain greater relevance in Nigeria. But if we keep playing the type of politics exemplified by Peter Obi in 2013, we have a very difficult future in Nigerian Political Landscape.

Big B1, cry me a river. You should doff your hat for the APC. Without spending kobo on elections, APC is winning Wards counsel, LGA Chairmen, State Governorship position, HoR, Senate seats and more. Come 2015, the party will crown it with the Presidency and start developing Nigeria on all front.

PDP just the look like mumu.
Politics › Re: Have The Igbos Contributed To The Decimation Of GEJ Support Across The Regions?? by egift(m): 3:10pm On Dec 26, 2013
By portraying Jonathan's election as that of Ndigbo, my people have denied their hope of ruling Nigeria for a long time to come.

For Example: When the North take 8yrs + SW 8yrs + Any minority that will agitate 8yrs + Dare add an unrealistic extra 4yrs to Jonathan.
Mathematically: 2015 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 4 = 2043

Without re-aligning ourselves with the rest of the country or breaking away (which I don't support because it costs lives), the chance of Ndigbo producing the President of Nigeria is around 2043, 30 years from now!

taharqa: There was actuali errors with Obamacare. That's exactly why there was problems in its implementation recently, website related errors even. OLODO...
There is no error in Obamacare (ACA) law, rather what we have are policies that the Republican do not agree on. Obama have been making concessions (including extensions of deadlines) to get everyone to join. On the website, there where errors on the site, a new company was brought in to clean up the website.

Abeg, when will Jonathan and his crew clean up all the fraudulent figures that liter on the budget?
Politics › Re: Authority Stealing: Jonathan Budgets Millions For Non-existing Aircraft, Boats by egift(m): 2:43pm On Dec 26, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: So if an official of the presidency or a federal civil servants engages in corrupt practices or criminality, should we then say Jonathan engaged in the act simply because he is the president? What sort of logic is that? It doesn't make sense. The proper and sensible thing to do is to investigate any act of corruption or criminality and punish those culpable according to the law.
Sometime it amazes me the nature of comments you post. Here are the two issues you are dancing around:
1. If there is an error in the budget, who do we blame?
2. If someone deliberately insert fraudulent figures in our budget - whose responsibility is it to order a prosecution, nothing have been done?
3. These fraudulent funds that from the onset was earmarked for stealing - whose pocket does it settle in?

My answer is Jonathan. Let see how you dance around the question again.

The problem of President Jonathan is not just what he have done BUT more of what he is not doing - that is the crux of what OBJ is saying. He can keep on with his punchlines. Untill the day he stands up against corruption that is drowning him then we will take him seriously.

But do expect a team capable of moving the nation forward in all front.

berem: Seems my first question is difficult to answer. grin
My second question is what plans does APC have to make SE accept the party? Are there plans for sensitized programmes just as what was seen in Rivers state yesterday?
Let me contribute to your second question:
In the SE (like the rest of the country), the APC will keep expanding its membership drive, consultations, sensitization programmes and presenting its plans, policies and programmes to the people.

To build a united, strong, empowered and progressive Nigeria is our aim. I believe together we can.

Tukur, Tony Nwoye Head to Tribunal, Vow To Upstage APGA in Anambra

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has led its Anambra state governorship candidate in the last election, Nov 16,2013 Comrade Tony Nwoye to file a petition at the election tribunal to challenge the verdict of the election. Comrade Nwoye stated this in Awka yesterday during an interactive session with select

stakeholders representing the twenty-one (21) local government areas of the state .

The confident sounding candidate who was also full of praises for what he described as strong backing of the Bamangar Tukur-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, disclosed that the need to challenge the election verdict has become imperative because the whole world attest to the fact that the governorship election was fraught with bare-faced administrative and political fraud and open manipulations.

Nwoye got a standing ovation of the stakeholders when he disclosed that the party from the national, zone and state chapters have decided to appeal the election verdict as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, contrary to the initial speculations that the PDP will not go to court over the governorship election.

The flagbearer expressed optimism that his party would upstage the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) just like Governor Peter Obi displaced Ngige and Uba through the instruementality of the court to hold on to power since 2006.

He commended the party faithful for giving a good account of themselves and come second in the election not minding the high level of conspiracy and distractions that made the party campaign for just two weeks before the election.

He also praised President Goodluck Jonathan and national leadership of the party for their support during the election.

Comrade Tony Nwoye bemoaned that the PDP would have been an orphan in Anambra state if not for the support of President Goodluck Jonathan , Engr Authur Eze and some other individuals.

Comrade Nwoye expressed doubt over the capability of the Anambra state Independent Electoral Commission to conduct a free and fair council poll for the state. He based his claims on alleged fraud that fraught the governorship election.

Obasanjo's letter yielding fruits. Now the Ogogoro Master is awake. Where are those Chino and others who sold their soul for a Kia Picanto?

- How can a party accept a result where their candidate's name is not even on the register?
- How can we also accept a result where INEC's Jega confirmed that APGA paid an election officer to make sure Ngige's stronghold did not get any material?
- How about the fact that APGA's WillyWilly has 3 voters card?

The Nov. 16th election in Anambra remains the worst election in the history of Nigeria. APC demands a total cancellation.

Please nobody should try that. It is like throwing a grenade at an insect. We do not hate the President, everyone just want him to situp and kick corruption out of Nigeria and develop Nigeria and step aside.

2. What events/developments do you believe tipped and accelerated the capsizing of the PDP's boat?

3. Name one action if taken would salvage the PDP from its looses.
