Politics › Why Anambra Governorship Election Should Be Cancelled by egift(op): 1:32am On Dec 01, 2013
Never in the history of Nigeria have an election like the fraud on November 16th 2013 in Anambra been witnessed. This is Nigeria's most shameful election and INEC's most disgraceful 'election' ever.

Allowing this election to stand (on any technicality that can be imagine), will be the largest attack on our nation's democracy - because it will mean that irrespective of what you do to steal the mandate of the people, you will get away with it. As people and a nation, this shame should be rejected.

Here are just few of the reason why the election should be cancelled:

- INEC's chairman personally said it. The election failed short than any past election (we all know some nasty past election - This is the worst of all).
- More than 50% of the electorates and a major candidate (the PDP candidate - Tony Nwoye) could not find his name on the register, after it was there two weeks before the election when INEC displayed it.
- It is on record INEC changed the voters register 3 times before the election. The one used in 2011 elections, the one displayed 2 weeks to the election and the one used on the election day - the most people did not see their names.
- It is a fact that Obiano (the APGA candidate), have 3 voters cards - a crime that attracts jail term. Here are the VINs (1) 90F5 B12B 0129 6204 172, (2) 90F5 B15E 7D37 8200 332, and (3) 90F5 B12B 8837 7091 121. According to the Electoral Law, he cannot vote or be voted for in any election in Nigeria. This is what we call multiple registration.
- All the top candidates have pulled out of this fraud and its Supplementary Elections. The parties include PDP, APC, LP and others.
- INEC Chairman publicly stated that some of its officers and APGA led government officials were arrested for getting bribed to displace Result-Returning forms, voting materials and also for making sure materials were late on there opponents stronghold.

There are other serious issues that have occurred in this election, but as a nation, we must uphold our laws and protect our democratic principles from the greedy elites who want to hijack the process for their selfish gains. It does not matter who is elected Governor of Anambra - but Nigerians should reject the worst ever election exercise in the History of Nigeria.

You guys sux..
And who said am a Yoruba? Or you are just completing the work Peter Obi is doing to create more enemies for Ndigbo as long as he cover his fraud and install his stooge. How much more blind can you be to the truth that this election is the worst ever.

Whoever the people want should be elected. But if you are supporting this fraud - the worst election in the history of Nigeria because it favours you, then we have nothing further to discuss.

There have never been an election as bad as this in the history of Nigeria. Call a spade a spade.

Was it that your ENGLISH was that superb or what??

Guess you know I was tired seeing you make grammatical errors here and there so I was stunned when I came across that.

You dey carry APC for head like lapa lapa,

akereconfi: Do you know what is paragraphing?
Concerning the issue of 'face your book' when last did your read a journal or an article because you are so stale and need to refresh your memory, that's only if there's anything to refresh there.

It is a shame, if you should tell me that "your English" used in that sentence was wrong. You tried so hard to point out some imaginary flaws but sorry son, you failed. I'll see you on another thread.

Take your spelling class well son
You are too proud to learn. I have fulfill my fare share of social responsibility to deliver you.

1. If you do not see the discrepancies in the space (paragraphs) of your post, then I have no reason discussing with you.
2. Again "face your book" is a wrong use of English, Mr. Akereconfi. At the level of your cognitive pedigree with the English Language, "face your studies" is more appropriate.
3. Also "your English" is wrong Prof. Akereconfi (I do not own the language). Now replace it with "your use of English", you will be glad at how sensible you sound.

Finally, if your job description among the 40-Laptop Gang is to portray me unlettered, tell whoever that employ you that I find it insulting that a Chump like you is sent on such morbid quest. Have a lovely day.

akereconfi: I wonder if you feel any thing like a BRAIN in your skull. I have never seen you construct a flawless sentence on this forum before and your POST is aimed at down grading the PRESIDENT.

Like seriously, you should face your books because your English is so pathetic and deteriorating day after day.

I keep correcting you on almost all your POSTS and COMMENTS.

Product of a FAILED EDUCATION system, but am scared you ate your school fees.

Waiting for your to make a flawless post.

Educational Iconoclast
I never knew I have gotten so famous for you to abandon everything to keep tagging along. By the way, let me take a few second to correct some of the grammatical blunders littered in your comment:

1. Capitalizing words within a written sentence in English for the sake of emphases is grammatically incorrect. It is very informal. You only use those when chit-chatting with your peers.
2. Your paragraphing is wrong. Correct that next time.
3. You utilize colloquial English in your supposedly effort to highlight my "errors", do I resemble your benighted girlfriend. (Example: See the bold in green).
4. The use of "face your books" and "your English" is very miserable of you. For your information, the English language does not "deteriorate". Except if you are referring to the leftover meal in your kitchen.

So kid, next time you want to come off as subversive in English Language, try not to stifle us with those avoidable blunders. Do have yourself a nice evening.

What can he do? Cease their Federal Allocations - Tinubu did even better without it under OBJ.

State Of Emergency? Will not work. Jonathan personally argued that a State Of Emergency does not involve removing a Governor and other elected Officials grin grin grin

@akereconfi: If you can show us any text, article, reference or any material at all on the web that highlights the chronicles of what the APC have done since its inception the way I wrote it outside my comment on NL - I will create a topic here requesting the Super Admin (Oga Seun), to permanently deactivate my NL account - Do you want to bet it?

BTW, am glad you were squarely flabbergasted in amazement to the level of articulation in post.

McGibson: Mind u that our present president is Igbo! Atleast his name shows that! And the wife is also igbo which if he's not igbo, cannot be achieved! That's y yorubas and Hausas want him out of seat
Stop the lies. Mr President is an Ijaw man. (If you are telling me he is a close neighbour, it will be understandable). Or is an Enugu man an Ijaw? "Azikwe" is the name his mother used to hail him when he was a kid (after Zik Of Africa). Until recently when it became a potential tool to attract SE votes, it was never part of his former name. The Ebele in his name is the abridged version of Ebelemi - is that an Igbo name to you? Yes, his wife is an Ada Ndigbo.

I posted this earlier, let me share with you.
----

By portraying Jonathan's election as that of Ndigbo, my people have denied their hope of ruling Nigeria for a long time to come.

Example: Give the North 8yrs + SW 8yrs + Any minority that will agitate 8yrs + Dare add an unrealistic extra 4yrs to Jonathan.
Mathematically: 2015 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 4 = 2043

Without re-aligning ourselves with the rest of the country or breaking away (which I don't support because it costs lives), the chance of Ndigbo producing the President of Nigeria is around 2043, 30 years from now!

If you can tell me one time that Abati have told the truth, then I will believe this.

Even when he broke the London Hangover, he deliberately skipped the Ogogoro part. And did you noticed that Abati did not deny or comment on the fact that the President personally intervene on the arrest of Asari (but the same report carried it). Abati is doing the dirty job of a crook and he is good at it.

1. Who suffers when ASUU is on strike?
2. Who will benefit if the FG should equip our higher institutions.
3. Are you aware that the law own by the FG of Nigeria, supports a worker being paid in full whenever there is a dispute and it results to a strike action (as long as he is still validly employed)?
