There is no advice that will stop Nigerians from kicking the Zoologist back to the jungle. We say NO to Ogogoro Presidency.

Nigerians are very decent people. One man's cluelessness can not become an attribute to who we are. Today is drunk in london - Tomorrow, he could be dancing naked in the market square.

Nigeria is Beautiful.

Education › Re: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by egift(m): 3:41pm On Nov 26, 2013
Johnsonpac: Are you part of d thieves?
So you want to be paid for what you didn't. Worked for abi?
The ASUU members better have a rethink before the building start falling on them
I will try not to stoop so low to exchange insults with you for the sake of sanity. But for the sake of useful discussion, here is what is applicable here:

1. In 2009, after some strike action and negotiations, the Federal Government and ASUU reached an agreement to uplift the Nigerian Tertiary Education system (Jonathan, then VP play a prominent role in that agreement).
2. When Jonathan after being elected President, signed another agreement, stating his commitment to the 2009 FG agreement with ASUU.
3. Till date FG have not fulfill the 2009 agreement - prompting the current ASUU strike action which have lasted 5 months (remember that ASUU did a warning strike for which FG ignored).
4. After a marathon meetings and negotiations, the Federal Government have stated what they will do and ASUU have accepted. Now to call off the strike action, ASUU is asking the FG to pay its members the immediate salary arrears - which is 4 months (the law is very clear on this - if your worker embark on strike because of a dispute, as long as they are still fully employed by you, They Will Be Paid In Full). If anyone have any issue with this Employee Protection Law, you can take it up with the National Assembly and I pray that you will soon find yourself in that same spot with your source of income.

Having highlighted the issues involved, I therefore do not why the insults and name-calling.
Education › Re: FG Condemns ASUU's Fresh Demands by egift(m): 3:09pm On Nov 26, 2013
kolidave: its either u live in a cave or cannot read. Nothing fresh or new in ASUU's demand? Abeg do ur research again and this time use a bigger glasses
My friend it seems you did not read the main post. In case you skipped it like many others, let me highlight them for you:
1. For the 5 months ASUU have been on strike, they are qualified to be paid (they are asking for it).
2. The FG have now agreed to pay XYZ amount. ASUU is asking to pay the amount due for this year (the total amount was slitted into years, this years portion is yet to be released).

So can you put sentiments aside to tell us what is wrong with that? Is the Nigeria Students have a demand, they can through their union make those demands. Why do you guys only result to be throwing insults here in pretense of siding with Jonathan (who is yet to receive this feedback or comment on it)?

We are all products of the Nigerian Educational System, I want to plead with the current Nigerian Students to stop bringing shame to all of us here through these childish and bold display of ignorance as showcased here. It's very pathetic and disgraceful.

God Bless Nigeria - Aluta Continua!

ncpat: Pay for what? did they (ASUU) work? you only get paid for what you worked for.
Stop being ignorant. It is the law in Nigeria and every other country: whenever there is a disput between a worker and employee, if it results to strike, the employees will get paid in full with all the relevant benefits as long as they are still validly employed.
Politics › Re: Gov. Obi Denies Rigging Anambra Polls by egift(m): 6:57am On Nov 26, 2013
This is the greatest ever told in 2013.

INEC said an official working for AdaObi along Electoral Officer is in Police Custody already.

AdaObi gave money to EO to make sure that voting materials will not get to his opponents strongholds.

Peter AdaObi's account officer at Fidelity Bank who he wants to install as a stooge, has 3 voter's cards. Making him a criminal - unqualify to vote or to be voted for.

AdaObi is Father Xmas dolling out cash and cars to even private businesses to buy votes for his stooge.

omanzo02: If he drinks ogogoro I applaud his courage and patriotism for a national choice, every president has protocol officers around him that keep an eye on everything the president does, and he is always restricted to drink socially. This is a fact.
Proverbs 20:1 - "Wine [is] a mocker, strong drink [is] raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise".

"Herb is the healing of a nation, alcohol is the destruction". - Bob Marley.
