After voting for Jonathan here is what you got (add more):
1. Christians relax "the bombing of churches are signs of end times"
2. Every Nigerian should relax, terrorism is happening everywhere in the world. Get use to it.
3. Boko Haram is in my government.
4. We have the phone numbers of all Boko haram sponsors
5. BTW no asset declaration for you guys. I don't give a dam.
6. N5tn stolen under Jonathan –Investigation - http://www.punchng.com/news/n5tn-stolen-under-jonathan-investigation/

Here is today's task - Do any of the following:
1. Raise your hands if you voted for Jonathan an not PDP
2. Describe those that raise their hands in number one above.

karl max: don't waste ur precious time educating illitrates leave dem to continue in their ignorance while their state and local government continue to collect sure-p on their behalf without doing anything they should check the article u provided above and tell us what has their state government don't with the one they've collected
Correct the truck load of errors you uploaded above before regarding others as illiterates. By the way, Jonathan is dolling out state funds without bothering if they were utilized accordingly - and you want us to go police them without asking Jonathan what happen to the funds he squeezed out from the suffering masses with ill mated policies that have no empathy on the suffering and pains of my fellow citizens.

Politics › Re: After Subsidy Removal. Did Jonathan Achieve Anything? by egift(op): 9:46am On Jan 01, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: "It was the reduction of the pump price of fuel from #65 to #60 in 2007 that triggered the increase in subsidy payments. Yar'adua used that reduction to gain some level of legitimacy, following wide condemnations dat trailed his election. The FIFA under 17 world cup in Nigeria in 2009 prevented Yar Adua from total removal of subsidy because he didnt want Nigerians to protest while we had foreigners in our midst. He travelled 2 saudi 2days before the policy could be effected & never came back"- Olusegun Adeniyi (Politics, Power and Death)
This is very lame analogy. Is he saying Yar'Adua reducing the pump price from N65 to N60 made Jonathan to siphon nearly N3trillion instead of the less than N500 billion specified in the budget?

BTW, investigation has shown we did not even import more fuel than expected. Rather in a collaboration of FG, the Ministries (Finance and Petrol), NNPC and Marketers, people got paid for what they did not deliver - even in some case in excess of it.

Politics › After Subsidy Removal. Did Jonathan Achieve Anything? by egift(op): 5:50am On Jan 01, 2013
It is now exactly a year when President Jonathan directed the PPPA to abruptly remove the "oil subsidy" payments the government claims it pays to reduce pump price of fuel. Thereby automatically increasing the price for fuel from N65 to N140 - leading to one of the largest public protest in the history of Nigeria.

We were told the measure will build refineries, send to prison all those that collected illegal payments, build roads, transportation, jump-start the economy, provide jobs, in fact so many things were promised.

One year after, what is the score card? With the final increase of N65 to N95 - What have president Jonathan achieved?

This time last year, President Jonathan finalized plans on how to ambush Nigerians with double pump price. Today, VP Joe Biden and Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on are meeting on a last minute efforts to avoid painful automatic income tax hikes from biting into American paychecks.

Needless to say we slept there and as you all know "bail is NOT free". Sadly even lawyers give them money (though may be less than you can negotiate).
Politics › Re: Jonathan's SURE-P Is A Drain Pipe On Nigeria's Economy by egift(m): 2:20pm On Dec 31, 2012
talktimi: the budgeted excess of N2 trillion on fuel subsidy came about because fuel subsidy payments weren't supposed to be in the budget in the first place as agreed by the federal, state govts & the NLC/TUC with emphasis on the labour unions who deceive Nigerians by claiming to fight for their right but do something different instead. This agreement to remove petroleum subsidy came as far back as oct/nov 2011 and I was surprised when people came into the streets chanting war songs in anger when indeed the govt announced its planned removal.
The first bold is a lie my friend. Stop writing what everyone of us lived through recently. Towards the end of 2010, the legislators had to make additional budget provision to extend subsidy payment funds to end March 2011 which will total to slightly above N400 billion. But by January 1st Jonathan through PPPA ambushed Nigerians and made the increase in pump price.

After the investigations, we all learnt that nearly N3trillion was spent for payment of subsidy (way more than what was budgeted). This excesses on Subsidy payment alone. What happens in other sectors under GEJ?

One the second bold, it is amazing discussions were still ongoing with all stake holders (including the masses), yet you were filled with surprise when Nigerians expressed their displeasure over Jonathan's manhandling of the entire process.
Politics › Re: Who Is Better At Leadership? GEJ Or Yar'adua. by egift(m): 12:24pm On Dec 31, 2012
Certainly Yar'Adua. He was in-charge, achieved something, was decisive in his decisions. I personally accused him for being slow. But I never said he was doing nothing.

As for Oga Jona, he is confused, people are stealing under his nose, he does trial by error. Can't even stand his ground and punish where necessary. Pension scam and subsidy scam have shown only two things - either he is directing the stealing, or other did it and he don't even have the guts to prosecute them. Don't forget he confirmed that Boko Haram are in his government, the have phone numbers of all the sponsors - yet innocent Nigerians are killed daily and none of the sponsors are facing firing squad.

Even Turia Yar'Adua was able the run things when the husband was down Oga Jonah (the Vice President) was preparing meal in the kitchen. Even unable to hold a mandatory FEC meeting.

All plans are already in place, kicking off as soon as I get investors. 2013 is my year to step up to the spotlight!

Whenever Jonathan announces a new committee and programme, if you look well you will discover it is another Plug & Loot avenue.

Have you forgotten is spent an budgeted excess of over 2,000,000,000,000 (2trillion) on Subsidy payment alone in 2011. How much unbudgeted excesses did he spend on other sectors all these years?

I thought I was the only one seeing that one. BTW what about the N1,000,000,000,000.00 (one trillion) approved for security? He should stop wasting state resources. There are more that needs to be done. It would have been better for commuter buses grin

I will not say badly. If the user is lazy it will help him more. But if the person really cares for the quality of spoken and written words, phones and PCs could be really helpful.

For me the use of computer makes me spell words correctly, even the ones I can not easily put together (I just keep right-clicking till it suggest the right spelling).

For the naysayers, they are the cowards. Chose to stand for what is right (then blame majority of Nigerians that matched the street for not getting big results).

- The rallies exposed the hypocrisy of this administration when it comes to corruption.
- Forced the government to initiate sensible efforts to correct the wrongs
- Made Nigerians to remove the cobwebs and sentiments that blinded them
- Forced the hand of FG to expose their collaborators-in-thieves
- FG reduced the afflictions (fuel price) they unleashed on innocent Nigerians
- The rallies united Nigerians (North-South, Young-Old, Christians-Muslims, etc)
