They lost there followers the day their officials tried to disown Tunde Bakare, just because of the peanut the sucked from the JonnySambo feeding bottle.

PDP simply killed two birds with one feeding bottle.

Simple question - Is what El-Rufai said wrong?

- That government is spending a lot more money than we have as a nation (making us borrow at a time we should be saving for rainy day).
- That most of the government's expenditure is only spent on paying fat salaries of our politicians and very little for creating jobs, infrastructural development, security and other thing that will help us grow as a nation.

What is wrong with speaking against what is hurting us all?

Frankly not poor. Yes "least wealthy" is appropriate. We all know he have not oil well, no house in Abuja, had to take a bank loan to build his house, etc.

He is upright, honest and manage his funds well. The same can not be said of even some local government chairman - who amass wealth as if they are taking it to the world beyond.

@mikeansy: The worst that is happening to you is that you don't even belong anywhere. When our nation is falling off the edge, you who can not take a stand have the guts to call people name. I did regard you if you did take a stand, even if na with Bode/Bankole/Ohakim or anyone - Shame on you.

@Post: This administration will wine, dine, steal, kill, loot with you as long as you keep singing their praise. Once you tell them "this is wrong" - you become an enemy of the state.

mikeansy:
Nigerian politicians are simply not good enough at politics.

El_rufai has been self destructing in the last couple of months, instead of ignoring El-Rufai they have simply offered him undeserved sympathy.

The man has been working so hard to be Buhari's successor in Nigerian Politics. I think that is a very wrong move for anybody who wants to lead this country because while that will guarantee you Buhari's base which is largely made up of religious extremists or half baked fools; your candidacy will be a difficult sell to the rest of moderate Nigeria which is where election is usually won.

If the Government know what they are doing they should release El-Rufai and ignore him.

Somethings are more serious than what El-Rufai has to say right now.
@mikeansy: You are a blo.ody mo.ronic i.diot. How dare you use those words to describe Buhari's support base? Yet you claim to be very peaceful, while vomiting venom.

I use to have respect for you, but this election made you throw away all decency to the wind.

- In what way are Jonathan's supporters better than those of Buhari?
- On what measure did you prefer GEJ against Buhari

You should be very ashamed that hatred is eating you up.

If you steal very huge sum in Nigeria, you will be celebrated (Eg: Bode), but if you stand by the truth - you will experience hell on earth (Now El Rufai).

Also if you can blow up things (like militants), the government will be paying you for doing nothing. You may even get a round table discussion with officials. But if you remain law abiding, you will be added among those Nigerian graduates that are unemployed cry cry cry

why wait till monday to inform them of their portfolio, then you shouldnt have sworn them in today.
Jonathan is always trying to create need for demand. Imagine how many Billions that will exchange hands for last minute modification and lobbying? You remembered when he relocated to Calabar for a retreat? - It ended up being one of the busiest meet-ups for Mr. President. grin

Arrest El Rufai? To imagine these ones are still walking free, makes it very shameful.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan reappointed 12 ministers from the outgoing government to their old jobs on Saturday following general elections in April, including oil minister Deziani Alison-Madueke.

Jonathan was sworn in for his first full term over a month ago and his ministerial choices are being closely watched by Nigerians and foreign investors keen for a team capable of driving badly needed reforms in Africa’s most populous nation.

“Those of you who are returning are to go back to your ministries and start work immediately,” Jonathan said, adding that two new ministers also sworn in on Saturday would be informed of their portfolios on Monday morning.

Very informative guys. Our leaders are always here when their hands are still in the nation's cookie pot - but will waste no time to run to other countries when their evil comes to light.
