Obviously, I am not from Bayelsa
And A year at the helms is not enough to do something in politics
The fact that we are still together, giving the volatile nature of the polity, is a big achievement IMHO
Believe it or not, Presidents are no more than managers All they do is manage, no original ideas, and in that respect, he is no worse than anyone else. My point is that compared to others before him, he has not done bad! @The Part In Bold: We are not talking about how he have play politics - but what he have achieved in Leadership. As a leader what has he done? |

Crownvilla: @ egift,
I don't have a GEJ feeding bottle; I don't even like the guy although I think he will win the elections proper with or without the PDP. If he can win in another party why rub himself in the mod and maybe leave later as a defeated guy? Crownvilla: GEJ can only support the existing governors, he can't stop anyone from contesting for the post of Governor at the party primaries. For your info, there are several contenders who have paid millions of naira for their forms to contest for governor. They have invested in structures and have started campaigning. How is GEJ going to stop them? If that is so - why is he promising everyone, individually 50% of everything. Example: - He have promised the North 2015 (if the support him) - Considering the same with Ndigbo (for their support) - Promised the West the same - Promised all the Governors auto ticket (even as you said many others are already campaigning lawfully). So who is President Goodluck fooling? I think he is dribbling himself |

I know we all cannot want the same thing - But how about Common/Mutual benefit? Except you are an Ijaw? (It will make sense) and I will take back what I said above. |

ChinenyeN: Seems like this Mr Udenta actually believes all the things coming out of his mouth. Sad. It's even sadder that he wants to make such a thing a priority. No Chy: Its more pathetic that you (who claim to be 100% Igbo) go all about Nairaland selling the idea that Ndigbo should abandon their mutual benefit for the sake of an Ijaw man that has never in his life or that of anyone remotely related to him stick his neck for the benefit of Aligbo. We can receive attacks from non-igbo (but more painful when its a sister stabbing us). |

Crownvilla: @ Titos,
You are right.
All GEJ is saying is that he will support the Governors for re-election. They will still have to go the primaries to slug it out with their opponents. So you believe in your mind that was what he told them and they forfeit all the have unanimously opposed. Guy drop that Jonathan's Feeding Bottle you have had all day. |
