Once the true colours of GEJ comes out, you will say its not true. I have said this before that GEJ is his own problems. Had he conducted the primaries shortly after he declared - he did be better - but he panicked.

Its sad that CHY will only be happy with the whole of south east if we sell our waste our rights and previlages on an Ijaw man who is willing to stab us any day to remain in power. Imagine goodluck pleading for the support of the North with the promise of returning power to them when he is through and that they (the North) should remember how his fathers open their doors to help the invade and brutalize the East during the war.

Pure desperation.

How can a man go about promising everyone 50% of the loot and and other bonus they want to hear.
Politics › Re: Poor Gej Is Desperate For 2011! by egift(m): 10:11am On Dec 18, 2010
A game of bribing, intimidation, a president mortgaging the will of the electorates by awarding all of the PDP governors automatic tickets - our voting may just be another formality cry www.

noblezone:
You are the true son of your father. Very precise unlike many who have words without content.

Personally, me concern is not where the president comes from; rather I am concerned of who and what he is. If Dangiwa (Abubukar Umar) is to contest with Iwuanayanwu, Arthur Nzeribe or their likes, I will vote Dangiwa.

The idea of Igbo Presidency, Yoruba Presidency, Huasa Presidency, Ijaw Presidency etc, is a gutter idea. Anybody who engages in tribal/ethnic/religious politics belongs to the dark ages. They are the people pushing our development backwards.

I want a President who will work and move the people to work together and build a great tomorrow. It doesn't matter to me if an Igbo man never becomes the President of Nigeria, but it matters to me if the president deals craftily with me because I am not of his tribe.

If we must decide these delicate positions with tribal/religious sentiments, then we are better of splitting Nigeria.

My judgments are not perfect, but I will compare the individual qualities of those contesting the forth coming elections, and vote them regardless of tribe and religion. Jonathan is not the best Nigeria can produce, but if I am to choose between him and Atiku, then I will choose Jonathan.

If you have no problem where the President of Nigeria comes from - why is it always paining you each time its an opportunity for Ndigbo to ascend the Presidency?

Its like many hypocrites here are comfortable when the President is from any other part of the country. But will be vomiting venom anytime the same arrangement is to be implemented to benefit Ndigbo.

Anyone with an update?

Obiagu1:
GEJ is NOT Igbo!
If he is Igbo, which clan does he belong?
He should stop this nonsense and stop creating problem for us Igbos.

If he is actually Igbo, he should prove it, not with this silly "I consider myself as an Igbo man because of the circumstances of my birth
and I believe you all regard me as your own son."
I have equally heard him say he is IJAW.

If he is Igbo, he should step down and run in 2015 under SE slot.
Thank you my dear. That is correct. Almost every other candidate have been very frank with Ndigbo. And it has been an issue of "if you support me here is what I will do".

But for GEJ, for where! -
- He have lied about his ethnicity.
- Sold our slot to the North for their support
- Insulted our memory by asking the North they need to support him because of what his fathers did for them during the Civil war.
- Is not pursuing any policy issue with SE but only sentiments
- And more.

Its so pathetic how some of my Igbo people have drop their aspirations so shallow.  cry

How on Earth is it okey for Jonathan (an Ijaw - South-South) to take the place of the rest of the Ndigbo but will see it as evil - any thought of him stepping aside for the Presidency to reach Ndigbo (SE).

It even horrible to consider he is selling the slot of Ndigbo (2015) to the North in exchange for their support. Is this not the same South-South that opened its gate to the Nigerian Army to invade Igbo Land?
Politics › Re: Gej Visits Ojukwu At Enugu. Says He Is Igbo. by egift(m): 8:12pm On Dec 17, 2010
Here is the irony:

Jonathan and his team want Ndigbo to forfeit their opportunity in 2015 and support him in 2011, because he is our cousin brother.

But my question to them is:
Can Jonathan forfeit his opportunity in 2011 and support Ndigbo in 2015, because we are his elder brother?

And what do we charge Mr. Clerk and your likes who have said in the past (even now) that you will breakdown the country - should Goodluck fail to contest the 2011 election under PDP?

What do you mean? Most times I wonder if all this rant of yours for GEJ is really a support for him. For you, anyone not drinking the Jonathan's liquor - must be an Enemy and Atiku supporter.

I have no problem if GEJ contests the 2011 elections. But unlike you, I don't believe he have to Jail everyone who says no, release his dogs after anyone who opposes, insult, bribe, steal, pal with criminals, befriend all the known corrupt politician in Nigeria and breakdown the system just for him  to be able to get elected.

chuks01:
he doesnt have the political structure to win any election in nigeria so leaving pdp will be a political suicide for him, people need to travel and know whats going on in other parts of this country, abuja, lagos and ph is not all about NIGERIA.i have been to core norths and middle belt states and i can tell you that GEJ cant win in those states. HE IS A POLITICAL WEAKLING.
But is it not more suicidal remaining in PDP since he could have more goodwill with Nigerian without the tag of PDP? I think he is less strategic with his ambition.
Politics › Why Can't Goodluck Change To Another Party? by egift(op): 10:45am On Dec 17, 2010
The general understanding is that in PDP's Zoning arrangement - its that of the North in 2011. If President Jonathan wishes to contest the 2011 election, he have dozens of other party who do not have such arrangements and contest there - Problem solved.

Why has he chosen to remain in PDP and flout the arrangements which is binding on every member of the party?

The biggest shocker for the GEJ team was Atiku being the consensus candidate and not IBB. The worst is that they are yet to figure out how to challenge Atiku - So all that is left is propaganda, lies, rumours and even gossip.

GEJ Team have been reduced to a campaign of lies and distraction - just anything that will not include the facts on ground and how to fix things.
