You truly think he would be remembered for being the first to be ousted?

He is remembered that he was the first African incumbent to uphold the principles of democracy and if you're on social media, you would know what I'm talking about.
Jonathan will be remembered for all the looting and other incompetent decisions he took. Just give it 2yrs or less, he will be completely redefined.
PoliticsRe: Ekiti: Police Disperse APC Lawmakers With Teargas by egift(m): 1:54pm On Apr 01, 2015
The Police and the Army are under the command of the FG. What is happening in Ekiti State is one of the Failures of Jonathan's Legacy of Impunity.

From day one, Jonathan has been doing the I Don't Give A Dam attitude. He is encouraging lawlessness through his inactions.

Thank God we kicked him out.

Tinubu mastered the Act of Opposition Politics. I salute his ability to find and promote very competent hands. Thanks to all APC Team for presenting us a very viable and competent option we could rally behind.

CHESSBOARD:
OP you are actually the most stu.pid loser after this election, because you lost your brain. Democracy is all about what the masses will gain not what individual will gain, what gain will it be that your brother is a president but you r still poor and uneducated. History have shown that SE have grown more when they are not at the center and we are use to it, we work hard as individual, make a better life for our families and Igbo nation as a whole. Pray for GMB to fulfill his promises but leave SE to where they want to be, we have a common mind and thats our weapon of growth and development. We have one agenda and whether we are in PDP or Minority we will achieve it .

I particularly recognize you for not yielding to the pressures of ethnocentricity or religious bigotry. We are united in ideology, more grease brother. Congratulations to you and all progressives.

Hope15:
Should David Mark decamp to the APC now, will he retain his Senate Presidency seat?
I was coming to say something, but burst into laughter on seeing your comment. grin grin grin grin

But even if he decamps, I will not entrust him with that. His loyalty will be somewhere afar. He will rather be a Minority Leader than risk being nothing on decamping. I tip Sen. Akume for that post.

He said something about Chimaraoke Nnamani that never came to pass. He said that he will not his second term but he did.

Gamble is the word.
Chimaraoke must have rigged and buy himself more time. But do you know that yesterday both Chimaraoke and Jonathan lost.

You listened to so much noise and rumours. Those of us that heard the actual words she said know she did not degrade Edo Women in any way. We were even glad we have in her a First Lady who understands the social challenges facing our society.

In case you are ignorant of it, read her actual statement and lookup the work of the Wife of Gov. Igbenedon who fought Italy-Connection to a standstill.

God bless Aisha. Sai Buhari.

Even if you are non-Catholic like myself, do drop a shout-out to Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka who in the face fierce opposition and aggression - still went ahead and delivered the sermon God gave him. Even when it was most uncertain and an unpopular view. Also for the fact that he supported Jonathan earlier.

Today he has been vindicated.

Post a shout-out to him to encourage our Men of God and Religious leaders to uphold the truth at all times.

I really don't know what else to say. I'm overwhelmed with ecstacy honestly. You guys just can't imagine how scared I was when Orubebe embarked on his shameful tirade yesterday, that man could have singlehandedly wrecked this nation yesterday.

You guys rock honestly. It was a well deserved victory. I couldn't thank you guys more for egging me to stay the course when I almost threw in the towel due to ill treatment from some mods that were hell bent on silencing me. I'm glad I sought you guys' advice before taking any decisive action.

I love you guys.
Cheers. smiley

I want to use this opportunity to really appreciate all the Progressives in the house. When we started, they brushed us off with the wave of the hand, mocked, insulted, bashed and laughed at us.

But today, that little humming has become a Nation Mass Chorus. Majority of Nigerians are already part of the Change Movement. Not only do we have peace in the country after the election, there is also joy in the land.

I believe it should be a joint ticket between Jega (for conducting the historic election) and Tinubu (for perfecting the Act of Opposition Politics).

Runner-ups: GMB (for persistence and victory), Amaechi (for confronting the most powerful), Jonathan (for his magnanimity).
