Are Nigerians not trusting Buhari, a man with no higher education and with a history of despotism and ethnic prejudices.
Before now Buhari has been a governor, minister, commander in chief, head of state, head of government agency - and now a President.

So either you are ignorant or just clueless.

Someone should tell Agbaje and Bode George that Lagos cannot be handed over to a Chemist to experiment upon under the instructions of a known exconvict.

Jonathan had already traded all of them to secure a safe landing for himself and Patience. Madam had made it clear she is not ready to take food to her husband in Prison.

It is now time for Nigerian Media to cook and serve the most unbelievable stories.

The same Ifeanyi Ubah that deceived Ndigbo about Jonathan, has gone to Lagos to drag the good name of Aligbo through the mud once again.

When will this instigation stop? When will my people stop these folks from using us for their political benefits?

Anyway, Ambode is the next Executive Governor of Lagos State.

Thank God for Rochas, Ngige and Ogbonnaya Onu.

Those that sold out Ndigbo and fed our people hatred, where are they? How may Ndigbo did Peter Obi, all the Ubahs and Arthur Eze share the billions they got from Jonathan?

Until we start playing Politics of interest and Cooperation, things may be difficult. We must also see ourselves as fully Nigerians and drop the division agenda, to be taken seriously.

I hope we change before it is too late.

Moving forward, which of the following reform should become the fate of the Office of the First Lady?

The either of the following (A or B):
a. The National Assembly to legalize the Office of the First Lady by giving it a Constitutional backing.

OR

b. Just have the title of "The First Lady of Nigeria" and "Wife of the President of Nigeria".

Same will apply for State and LG. In whichever case, these women can still pursue pet projects for whatever they desire.

(If you have more options add them).

PoliticsRe: Misinformation And Lies: The Pdp's Agenda For Buhari's Administration by egift(op): 7:43am On Apr 04, 2015
Matthewbriggs:
The irony is all the above things you accuse PDP of trying to do is exactly what APC did to PDP.

1. You all termed GEJ clueless
2. Derailed the efforts of the government
3. Attacked GEJ reputation
4. And utilize the nations woe to recover and gather mass support.

Why are you then afraid of been fed with your own medicine.

This is just the beginning, you guys will learn that the Battle fought to take power is even smaller compared to what is needed to hold unto power.
Most of the issues against Jonathan was about his response and reactions to issues. It also bothered on his mismanagements and failures.

But for PDP, they seem more inclined to creating false impressions and deliberate distortions facts for political gains.

During the campaign, PDP floated a lot of lies, today NTA and AIT are already changing tone.

PoliticsMisinformation And Lies: The Pdp's Agenda For Buhari's Administration by egift(op): 6:30am On Apr 04, 2015
With PDP losing its long-held grip in the centre to the APC in the April 28th Presidential Election, the 16yrs ruling party is about to be relegated to the status of an opposition party. For both members and fans of the PDP who until recently kept boasting of how PDP will rule for 60yrs, how Buhari will lose and cry again, etc - the outcome of the Presidential election and wide acceptance that has greeted it is still a rude shock.

I have observed that as the PDP come to full realization it lost, it is becoming obvious that these PDP supporters are banking on misleading Nigerians with fake news, half truths, false hope, exaggeration, false claims, blatant lies and many more forms of deceptions to undermine the efforts of the Buhari led administration.

Below are my observation about PDP's new found hobby:

1. Term Buhari A Tyrant: All through the campaign, PDP and their agents spent millions trying to paint Buhari as a tyrant who will lead with high-handedness like it were in the Military rule. Through these Schemes of Lies, the want to gauge the reaction of the Feds and see if they will get a justification to their claims.

2. Derail The Efforts Of Government: By peddling these lies and conflicting information, Nigerians will be confused on the actual policy of the FG and even in some case may be led to over expect. Just few days ago, they claimed Buhari promised to fix BH in 2 months, forcing the APC to become defensive.

3. Down Play The Reputation Of Buhari: Immediately Nigerians stated uniting under the platform of the APC in-view to effect the needed Change in the system and provide solutions to the challenges we face as a Nation, PDP started parading concept that APC is the same as PDP. This is to lure Nigerians to give-up hope a better Nigeria under APC even before it starts. You see them pointing at their so called allegedly corrupt while turning a blind eye to known convicted fellows that abound in their own party.

4. Plot For A Quick Comeback: As many PDP members lose power and relevance due to this defeat, the general chorus on their lips is "We will be back". They are off the opinion that this is just a temporal setback. As such, by parading these lies and misinforming Nigerians for the next 4yrs, their plot is when the election circle comes, these plots would have cast a long shadow that Nigerians may not be fully satisfied with APC. At that point, it may be possible to cajole Nigerians to restore PDP.

My Recommendations:
In view of the above and other observations on the antics of the PDP and their fans, I hereby which to make the following recommendations.
1. The Buhari led administration must work hard to deliver on the promises it made to Nigerians during the campaigns and work more on impacting positively on the lives of Nigerians rather than on fancy policy titles.

2. APC led FG must avoid the temptation of reacting forcefully on deliberate attempts to derail the policies of government through misinformation and falsehood. If not properly handled, the PDP will scream - it is 1984 all over again.

3. Buhari's administration must streamline the flow of communication and ensure a centralized source of information to avoid conflicting info and authorized folks spreading official rumours.

4. Also be swift response to false claims and the sources of those falsehood put out to avoid repetition and keep the masses aware of where the wrong information came from.

5. Distractions must be ignored always.

We all look forward to a great and a new Nigeria ahead. God bless Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan And Buhari Meet Privately In Aso Rock by egift(m):
From PDP will lead for 60yrs to they cannot merge, they can't agree on party leaders, they will never register that name, to there is no crisis in PDP, then nPDP and APC are strange bed fellows.

From that point all we can hear from PDP include Amaechi will be back and begging, they will not agree on a candidate, Atiku will buy all the delegates, etc.

We also heard that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock, Buhari will soon cry again, in no time all I can hear was "we only need 25% from that state".

Today as Jonathan gradually hands over the Chain of Command, all I can hear in their whispers is "We Will Be Back".

To God be the glory!

PoliticsRe: How Jonathan Defeated Obasanjo by egift(m): 1:27pm On Apr 03, 2015
Marvin67:
I never understood what people meant whenever they said GEJ never loses a battle until I saw the outcome of the elections. The 2015 presidential election wasn't just a battle between GEJ and GMB, it was also a battle between GEJ and OBJ.
Everyone who knows Nigeria well, knows that OBJ spent his time in office, trying to create a name for himself in Africa. Eventually, he left office and became one of Africa's most respected former leaders. GEJ however had more issues on his neck while he was Nigeria's president, and I'm sure he almost had no time to think of Africa. But after losing the elections, GEJ performed an act that made him leap frog OBJ to being one of Africa's greatest. His singular act of congratulating the winner, made the whole world and all of Africa respect him. In some quarters he's been described as the father of modern democracy in Nigeria.

Even the APC which I never thought would ever use the name Jonathan and commend in the same sentence has this to say through Alhaji Lai Mohammed by that
singular act, which went a long way in dousing post-election tension, the President had snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
It also noted that Jonathan had written his name in gold in the annals of Nigeria’s history and catapulted himself to a statesman.

Also, Mo Ibrahim a man who has never said anything about OBJ had this to say about GEJ; Thank you Mr President. If you are seeking a legacy, you have definitely achieved
it.”
If GEJ eventually wins the Mo Ibrahim award for 2015, then he'd definitely be smiling all over Africa, far more than OBJ is smiling. When the UN, AU, Commonwealth, etc looks for an African democrat to use an example, they'd definitely use GEJ, while OBJ falls into the category of so many former presidents.

Lastly, as my warri friend said "who God don bless, God don bless, Jona no dey ever lose. Him lose Aso Rock, but him win Africa".
The relevance of Jonathan in the International community as an envoy, depends solely on Buhari. If Buhari have to chose between GEJ and OBJ, ask yourself who comes first. In the next year or two, GEJ will be totally irrelevant.

Why are you guys making this about agbaje on a thread that's supposed to highlight the achievements of ambode and why he deserves our vote.

It's not enough to say the finances and revenue of lagos state has grown. You should please tell us what direct impact ambode had on the growth of the finance and revenue.

You should please tell us those policies that increased revenue were ambodes's idea.
Please read through the comments above, this time slowly, if you still can't find a reason to vote Ambode instead Agbaje, then repeat your question. And if you need to know Ambodes plan for Lagos, he has a comprehensive Manifesto on his website. Cheers!
