TANiods seems to have a new mandate to write the Failures of Jonathan by use his last minute dubious efforts to safe-landing and securing a mouth-watery retirement benefits out of jail as criteria to now declare Jonathan the best thing since sliced bread.

In that case. Most funds are channelled to state allocation and stolen in the states. So all governors under Gej will account for it. This includes fashola, amechi etc
For once you tried to sound balanced, but still ended up in dubious hypocrisy by casting apparition on only Fashola and Amaechi.

He must account for the one billion dollars loan which was supposed to be used for security. That's one of the reasons they are trying so hard to whitewash his image..... They will fail.
He used it in securing a Fake ceasefire with Boko Haram that did not even last 48hrs. There is even the average of nearly a Trillion Naira annually for the last 5 yrs.

The political voices radio programmes here in Enugu they used in barraging Buhari and taking a jab at him - this morning they are praising Jonathan to the high heavens. The entire programme is dedicated to craft a history book for Jonathan. When it comes to mentioning Buhari, they become stammerers.

So media are continuing this yeye campaign that got Jonathan thrown out - Always trying to preempt the APC and throw spanner into their wheel of progress.

What kind of rubbish is all these. Tufiakwa! Buhari must probe this government involvement in the killings of thousands of Nigerians. Jonathan hands are not clean.
What Jonathan stole is just too much for one lifetime. We must recover some if not all of whatever can be found on him.
PoliticsRe: Goodluck Jonathan did not contest to WIN, but 2 save Nigeria. by egift(m):
Jonathan Also Owe Nigeria More
1. Trillions of Naira stolen under his supervision. When will he start paying us back?
2. Gross abuse of power and wide spread impunity.
3. Underdevelopment, poverty and robbing us 5yrs of prosperity if it was effectively utilized.
4. Empowering criminals and institutionalizing lawlessness.
5. How about the over 15,000 Nigerians that died in his watch, millions of Nigeria Internally displace and refugees?
6. State assets stolen or sold to his proxies. Recall when Patience return from Germany from her near-death experience, she publicly said that some people who had her fortunes in trust were already selling them off and cashing in on it.
7. The hate, clannish and divisive tendencies Jonathan promoted for further his Them Against Us mentality on Nigerians. How about that.
8. When will Jonathan take responsibility for the pains and sorrow he cause Nigerians with his anti-mass ill thought policies that kept Nigerians drowning in poverty and his incompetence that could not sustain the economy.

So as you can see, Nigerians do not owe Jonathan anything. He should rather be the one apologizing to us. BTW, we will find ways to recover part of what he has looted. It is too much for one lifetime.
PoliticsRe: Akinwunmi Ambode(apc) Vs Jimi Agbaje(pdp) by egift(m):
1. Lagos is too important to be handed over to JK to experiment upon.
2. Lagos has not attended its full potential because it has been under the burden of an opposition, Now we have the opportunity of having a Lagos backed by an APC led FG.
3. Ambode has the required experience to lead Lagos, JK is just a Chemist.
4. The Change we need in Lagos is to move from Fashola => Ambode
5. We just kicked PDP out in Abuja for incompetence and you want to plant on in Lagos. Why?

Kidnappers, Terrorists, Militants, Arm Rubbers, Criminals - find something legitimate to do with your life. The next President of Nigeria is NOT into Military-Costume-Wearing. He is a Retired Major General. Trained in Nigeria, India, United Kingdom and the United States. He is an over performer. He is not shy of the Facts. Our Senior Military Commanders will not eat Military budget and clean mouth under his watch.

You have been listening to too much PDP lies. Buhari attended United States War College, the qualification he earned is equivalent to a Masters Degree. Apart from the United States, Buhari was also trained in Nigeria, India and United Kingdom.

PDP, NTA and AIT knew these yet the went ahead to spend billions telling uninformed Nigerians that Buhari is an illiterate and the gullible ran to town with it.

TopGee:
I got a Call now and the Militants are claiming they are facing constant abuse by the same people that ganged up against them. They are threatening them, and so have decided to meet them at the battlefield. This is the reason I warned that our youths must be careful because the way Buhari supporters are abusing those that voted Jonathan might trigger "we no gree again." It is not a crime to vote for any candidate of your choice but our utterances may destroy Nigeria, and all those boasting Buhari will destroy this and that will realize that war is not as easy as they think.

The election has come and gone peacefully but post election comments suppose to douse tension, instead many youths want to set Nigeria on fire ignorantly through their utterances. They don't know the harm they are about to cause to Nigeria as a result of abusing and threatening other regions that voted Jonathan based on their convictions. Everybody must not vote for one candidate. You don't have the power yet.
Stop deluding yourself. Jonathan is still the President any trouble now is still a continuation of his mess.

When Buhari is President he will fix Dokubo. As I always say, the good people of Niger Delta can decide if these miscreants will keep bring them trouble OR allow the Government to provide solutions and development.

But if in any way you entertain the thought that Buhari will seat back and watch any region burn like Jonathan did for the NE, then you must be joking.

So Jonathan can call his boys to order or allow them face the law when Buhari comes in.

PoliticsA Request To All Progressives And Everyone To Ignore Barcanista by egift(op): 11:00pm On Apr 01, 2015
Dear Progressives and Fellow Members,

Each time I am here on Nairaland, I try very hard to ignore distractions and avoid engaging on frivolities. Am making this post for the sole reason of calling your attention to an issue that requires immediate attention.

For a young man who has made very fundamental errors in judgements in recent time, Barcanista has now resorted to various image-laundering efforts to warm-up to members of this forum. Please we need to ignore him and be very selective whenever we engage him. Below are my submissions.

1. He like everyone of us here has his opinions on matters of National relevance. He is neither better or lesser than anyone here.

2. All his efforts at self projection and justifications rather than general discussions on issues is self serving and deplorable. It should not be encourage. So we all need to engage him with caution.

3. I suspect that coming at a time that we all are focused on issues and updates on how to have a smooth transition and step into greatness as a nation - that it may have ulterior motive that may not be far from distractions.

4. Whatever are the facts, rumours and misconceptions about his flight from one hut to another cave is none of our business and no one cares. He can boil it, fry it, roast it and ever shove it somewhere - nobody gives a monkey about what is and what is not.

5. Finally, at this very important time in our nation's history, we must preach peace and do our best to contribute to national growth by engaging in useful discussions and something productive and lawful.

Once again thanks for your time and please ignore Barcanista and be very selective whenever you engage him in his attention-seeking distraction.

Cheers!

This Attention-Seeking is getting very desperate and Despicable. Is this the trauma we are going to be subjected to in this Political Section? At a time Nigerians need to focus and have a smooth transition. I have the believe this is a new plot.

Mods please move this thread to General. There is nothing Political in this Attention seeking distractions.

This is what you tell a failure who is about to start crying.

He had an opportunity to work for the masses, he chose to side with the cabals, oil marketers, militants and others. Spent Trillion to give us peanuts. Looked dazed when Nigerians were dieing, etc.

Now Nigerians are in Charge. Any politician that lose his way will be kicked out. Am glad even Buhari now knows that.

For Jonathan's last minute smartness, that is invariably saving lives of innocent Nigerians, I will agree. But I would have like we extract some Trillions from him. What he stole is just too mush for one lifetime.

All the same, Nigeria Must Progress. Thanks to Buhari and Jonathan on the effort to ensuring a smooth transition.

FreeGlobe:
There is no reason why Nigeria should continue being a united country when we now place ethnic interests over competence and performance. The yorubas have supported with the hausas to return to the status quo of their born to rule. I don't expect any democracy dividend from a buhari presidency for the masses because Buhari didn't even present a manifesto. All he did was sell his ethnicity to his north while the yorubas did for their region.
Jonathan has done more for the north than any president from the north and yet tribalism defeated him. I want to ask all igbos to boycott this government and prepare for the next election with awareness and tribalism. Igbos should make sure that they are not shortchanged in the upcoming census. There is no reason why katsina should have more population than Anambra.

Enough said!

PoliticsRe: Pls Comment On Aisha Buhari On Her Reply To The Journalist by egift(m): 4:18pm On Apr 01, 2015
While there are 1001 possible replies, she is right to put Insecurity first. If you look at Jonathan's conceding, Buhari promising to forgive Jonathan and his past, the 2 Peace accords, Amaechi and Tinubu promising magnanimity in victory and other utterances, you will understand that all the major players even INEC all want to make sure the everyone is secured and that there is no uprising.

So confronting Insecurity is everyone's priority.
