Politics › Re: Femi Adesina Insists Security Has Improved Despite Sultan’s Claim by egoldman(m): 2:34pm On Jan 04, 2021 |
post=97699914: First of all : The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for some of her citizens to suffer collective amnesia.... intentionally!
Secondly, Nobody can deny that there are very serious challenges in the country, particularly in the areas of security, the economy, and standard of living generally. But that is not all there is to Nigeria of today, and those challenges are being addressed very robustly. That hymn says “behind a frowning providence, He hides a smiling face. His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding every hour.” We will surely see an end to the challenges, if we all work together, and eschew hate speeches.
Why then do some people choose to see and amplify only negative things? Why do they choose to remain willfully blind and deaf to positive things?
We truly remembered back then (just few years ago) when Boko haram kill thousand and thousands of innocent Nigerians. That people could not go to their place of worship for over a whole year. Back then, if you see an ordinary polythene bag (nylon of akara) on the floor, everybody start running helter skelter thinking it's gonna be an explosive Devices. (It was that bad!)
Stop embarrassing yourself online ..... okay? If you are not sure of a topic, stop commenting for comments sake. HNY! Hypocrite, are u not the one that suffers from intentional amnesia? You know what Buhari said he would do about Boko Haram in 3 to 6 months during his presidential campaign. You are very much aware of how he criticized Jonathan's government and called for his resignation because of the security situation in the country then, so why have you not called for Buhari's resignation today? Or why have you not commented on the position of security chiefs that have become useless in the face of Boko Haram and Bandits onslaught? Blood is being spilt almost on daily basis in this nation and all your Darling Daddy's spokesman could do was to tell Nigerians that the numbers killed were still less than what was killed during the previous administration as if that was some kind of achievement, are they were in a race not to let more people die than during Jonathan time, shame and you and your Darling Daddy for not having any regards for human life. |

SilverNorGold: Lol.. Terrorism is not 100% evil sha.. Cos even the most devilish person has his positive side..
One of the benefits of terrorism is population control.. With the high rate of population explosion currently bedeviling Nigeria, there are bound to be food shortages, high rate of unemployment, which will multiply crime rates; decline in social infrastructure, lower standard of living, etc..
Another benefit of terrorism is that it provides religious adherents another means to Heaven.. Unlike suicide, which is a sin, death from terrorism is organic. You can die happily without fear of going to hell. Suicide doesn't guarantee this....
So having terrorism linger for 20 more years isn't a totally bad thing. After all, we all gonna die, so? The most important thing is to die a believer. Cos ending terrorism is not ending death.. But patching a hole out of several billion holes.. Whether we make Heaven or Hell should bother us, and not terrorism.
May God help us. This trash you typed above is one of the reasons the rest of Nigerians want to stay away from the north, benefit of terrorism indeed. |

I’m in for whatever will bring peace to the country. We must find a way to stop the senseless killings. They should let us know when they are ready to stop. If you had been saying the truth like this, we should not be having any quarrel, God bless you for saying this. Shehu Garbage blamed the farmers for not getting clearance from the army and today the army blamed the villagers for failing to give them information about Boko Haram. Can you see how this government has been passing blames to others instead of apologizing to Nigerians for their incompetence? |
