Nairaland General › Something Very Awkward He Experienced Today by egorov(op): 8:20am On Jun 26, 2015
So the most awkward thing happened to
me today. If you had a bad day, relax. I
won.
So I'm in the bank chilling on a mad ass
long queue to get my BVN done, uba
bank, poor customer service and all.
People are tired and so am I and then
something cheers me up. 30 mins into
queuing & I spot an old female friend I
haven't seen in ages, Eme. She is still as
cute as ever, I know she'll be pleased to
see me as I am her.
So I walk forward, over to her. At least,
someone to chat with while waiting. Yaay.
I get to her and I cover her face from
behind so she can maybe guess who it is.
Apparently, the lady in her front is her
friend cos she asks her who it is & she
giggles and says she doesn't know me.
I say, "It's been a long time. Do you still
recognize my voice?" Still covering her
face. She laughs and says no. She then
begs me to remove my hand from her
face. She's as excited as I am. Oh Eme.
Note that by this time, people are staring
idly. They're waiting to be called in for
their BVN registration just like us.
So I finally let go of her face and Eme
turns and looks at me. I have the cutest
smile prepared for her. Gosh. It wasn't
Eme.... Bruhhhhh.
I wanted to die. You mean your boy had
been holding this lady's face for about a
minute? A whole minute, laughing with
her as if we shared the same dreams and
passion. She frowned and was like,
"Sorry, who are you?" taking a step back.
Felt like I had malaria because my mouth
was sour.
Her friend was like, "Do you know him?"
Fam these ladies eyed me like a creep. I
finally composed myself after about 3
seconds of disbelief.
I was like, "Oh, I'm so sorry. I thought you
were someone I knew, I swear. Excuse
me."
People were staring. They had to watch
me walk away, back to my spot on the
queue. I'd never wanted to teleport so
bad. Who send me?
Every once in a while, the girls glance
back at me like, "OMG. That creep is still
on the queue with us."
Mehn, i just plugged my earpiece &
ignored as if it was nothing. I had my
lane o. But noooo, I couldn't stay there.
Same way I drive TBH.
Me too? why cover a lady's face in
public? Whatever happened to Hi...

i pray make Accord nd Pdp wif Labour nt merge 2geda...coz dat s da only way dey can stop APC nd da possibility of dat is 60 percnt.
Those parties also have gubernatorial candidates, they wouldn't merge in order not to disappoint their members, and that is why Ajimobi will garner about 50% of the total votes cast. LP, PDP, Accord will share the rest. Ajimobi is the best option for the people of Oyo state, In order to continue living in a state where progress and decorum are the orders of the day
