Hello guys, I was asked to upload a replacement documents of IMM1294 before 10/03/2020. It was tagged "Replacement Required". I have done that and it's now showing Replacement provided. I believe God is on my case.

See don’t let them make you feel like you’ve got the biggest problem in the world o. I made the same mistake in my last application and I was so terrified but with the help of some experienced gurus in the house I was not band even though the visa was denied due to purpose of visit. Just raise a web form and address the mistake with the new corrected form and also send it to the Nairobi Kenya email address or withdraw the application. Either way would be suffice for the error. That was the advice given to me by the likes of Mr frankrobbn1 and others. Just calm your nerves and do one of these option aforementioned. Best wishes fam

I believe God is on your side, not everybody is given a chance to explain such mistake, it is God that has make the VO given you a chance for a review.

1. My advise for you right now is pray to God. 2. try to defend yourself while you did not thick or answer the questions correctly, look for a good immigration lawyer that will give you clue on how to respond, make sure you do work with him/her do not allow him/her write alone, review what so ever he/she most have written add your own thought to it too or better still make research online, you will get similar issue with possible answers.

From the look of thinks you medical call is close, just comport yourself, chose the right words, the VO really want to hear you explanation, do you best to convince him, it only you and God that can help right now

I only have 7days to respond.
I guess I'll just have to admit it was an innocent mistake and apologize and wait for whatever the result would be.
Anybody with idea on how i should structure the mail should please help me. Its really disturbing and psychologically traumatic for me right now

Your chances of not getting a ban is slim. The least that could be done is respond with complete honesty and remorse as Naijaforeigner has advised. Don't try to justify anything or yourself, admit blame and apologize.

N.B: if you have the time and resources at your disposal, you can as well contact an immigration lawyer in Canada for help and professional advise.

I didn't feel a representative form. Also, i have been going through my IMM5257 (Application for Temporary Residence) form and can not find the section for that question as indicated by the VO on the PFL. I finally found the section on form IMM1294 (Application for study permit outside canada.
I'm confused right now

Well, the mistake has been made and now is the time to act. I want to assume someone else filled that form for you and you did not choose to deliberately misinform the visa officer. If someone else applied for you, did you fill the representative form?

I will suggest you respond with an emotional letter explaining what happened and how you have been so unhappy, distraught, emotionally disturbed ….. since you got that reply. Explain how you will never deliberately do such, apologise and promise that such mistake will never happen again.

Make sure your letter is brief, straight to the point. I wish you all the best.

I am thinking of responding that I mistakenly uploaded the wrong form IMM1294. That it was a big mistake from my part. And explain that I indeed applied for study permit last year October and was denied on November 7th base on purpose of visit before i applied on November 13th. And also address the fact that I was denied a USA B1/B2 in 2016. But unknowingly uploaded the wrong form and very sorry about as I do not have the intention of hiding any information about my previous application.

My dear, I’m not scolding you. We all make mistakes yea but in cases like this, it’s usually a ban. Just give them your response and hope it will end in only a refusal and not a ban. In looking for an excuse, it is assumed that you can read and totally comprehend every information on that form. So there’s really no excuse at all. Just come out clean, apologize and wait for their response. I hope it’s favorable for you.

I don't need scolding at this moment. I need help on how to resolved it. If i had seen that part, why would i hide it. It is my second application. I applied same last year October for Study Permit but was denied base on purpose of visit.

The VO’s usually look at your resumption date when checking through applications. I’m sure they’re intentionally not giving you a decision or update yet because they do not want you to have your visa so early since you’re to resume in September for study.
But still, you can contact them just to be on the safe side.[/quote]

It was supposed to be January 6, 2020 but i have gotten a recent acceptance letter for September 2020.

This has been my status since last that I reapplied for study permit. The admission letter got expired, I had to eapplied for same program and i have been reaccepted. Is it advisable to call CIC Kenya? I have sent an email January 7th, 2020 and got a response that they have a lot of applications on their desk, that they will try and work fast on my application until the session passed and i reapplied. Please i need ur advise. Should i call them? September 2020 is not far before this new acceptance letter will expire again.

I have contacted them via email and webform. They said they have a lot of application on their desk and they will try to conclude it. I didn't do upfront. They replied on January 9, 2020. I have sent the updated acceptance letter for 2020 but no reply yet.

I re-applied fir study permit last year November 13th but my status still says that my application is still under review (Background Check and Eligibility). The resumption date for the school has passed. I had to reapply to the school, same program. I have been reaccepted with the same student id number. My question is, should I send the new acceptance letter to CIC through webform so that they can update it on my profile/ application?
Please i need ur advise.

Its been a while we heard anything about update TRV from applicants. I wonder if they have forgotten about our applications. Resumption is just 10 days away.

I didn't receive that email but I am also expecting to hear from them. I re-applied since 13th November.

I received this email this morning from CIC. My application is 4 weeks today. I submitted on 18th of November, the processing time was 6 weeks then.

Please gurus in the house kindly advice me. This is my 2nd application. No upfront medical, school resume on 6th of January.

I checked the medical appointed available on qlife clinic, all the spaces were filled up till end of January.

Did anyone receive this same message?

I have not yet gotten any update on my re-application since November 13th. I have already done biometric capture in my first application. It's still showing that its under Review for eligibility and also background check is in process. School resumes in January. Is it okay to contact them by Friday this week?

Please can someone help me go through my LOE?
I was refused based on the usual family ties, current Employment and Purpose of visit.

My profile is:
Program admitted for: Post graduate diploma in business management
Cape Breton University.
Undergraduate degree in History and international studies.
4years experience in banking
2years plus as a procurement officer in my current company.
I paid part of the tuition $8350 CAD
I uploaded my employment letter
Sponsor is my elder brother who is Depot manager at OandO. Though i did not upload his id card
Sponsor's SOA of about 3.5m balance and debit and credit of about 30m
Sponsor's int'l passport and Visa page
My passport and visa page
Scanned copy land document co-owned by me and my younger brother
My account statement of #650,000
Ref letter by my employer
Police clearance certificate
Affidavit of Sponsorship
I also have a small poultry i co-owned with my younger brother.
Please gurus, i need someone to help me go through my edited LOE to know if i am good to good.
