I'm so grateful guys for helping me scale through the state deployment stage, but I'm still battling with payment issue here ooo, I dey com fes cos dis NYSC and remita pipu wan cheat me....
Money wey I pay last week wednesday, even remita send me confirmation mail, Gtbank sef gimme the remita payment slip ooooh, now NYSC still dey show me No Payment Status, make I enter bank fes.

sokotobis a nice place , beautiful and peaceful if being posted to town tho, u are able to save there ,state allowance is 5k doctors allowance is 50k ..it's really nice ..the only problem is the weather.all states have their good n bad,. But if u are posted there ,when u get to camp shine your eyes don't look down on anyone , especially the official they can be of help . We can chat in a private place will tell u some things

Dunno much but sokoto is among the farthest of the northwest states. It is very close to kebbi and a hausa majority state. It is actually one of, if not the post peaceful states in the north.
Things are relatively cheap and sokoto people are accommodating ( just respect them and their culture). It is a sandy place since you know its close to the sahara and kinda sunny, yes sunny. The city of sokoto is okay and sokoto people are very rich in culture, so their is alot of cultural and reserves game for sightsaw. And yea it houses one of the good university in the north UDUSOK so you can say there are more of other tribes and religion as compared to states like Jigawa, Kebbi or zamfara.
Remember its not in the northeast so it is not extremely far. Sorry for typos and sorry I dont know much.

I have Sokoto among my options too.D info i have recieved so far hasnt been positive.The state is sufferring from Mannigitis outbreak,the heat is overwhelming...etc.I hope to hear someThing positive about d state soon.

Its terribly hot there. Meningitis is currently in the state. You won't be able to sleep at night with the hot weather there. I won't even advise my enemy to go there. No pros at all. More of cons


My friend who is there isn't allowed to redeploy even after three months as their governor said. Its just too bad. He and his fellow corpers stay in a mud house
