I learned the land mass in the North is 100 times larger than what we have down south. I now see how and why it is easy for these bandits to kidnap hundreds of people and hide them in the forest for months and the security agencies won't be able to locate them and even if they do locate them they can't rescue the captives.

But what I don't understand is how with this large land mass they have they couldn't rear their cows up there but are bent teeth to bring them down South

Down south is green bro- Good for livestock rearing. And the migration (down south) of cattle herders with their cattle has been going on for eons. I just believe the south should be more accommodating to their northern brothers while the northerners in turn should be more respectful to their southern host. We need eachother.

An acquaintance of mine who went through the same ordeal said he paid 500k before his passport was released to him.

*Edo state was the final destination I filled.
*They did not request for a test within 24hours of arrival. They are only requesting for the result of a test conducted on the 7th day after arrival, which you will bring to their office at the airport in order to claim your passport. However, they said you’d have to show proof that you indeed isolated yourself during the 7 days period, and also the isolation must be done in an ‘accredited’ government isolation center…they listed some isolation centers/hotels in Lagos ( I really didn’t care to take any note of the listed centers/hotels)

Update: Travelled in yesterday. My passport was seized as well. Hoping to get it back after 7 days as they ‘claim’

Cancelled my travel plans. I cant deal with stress at that lag airport. Cant risk them seizing my passport and having to beg for it. I know They cant sustain this their greed for long. its easier for them now because very few people are even travelling from SA to NG so they can harass people well.

I also heard that fully vaccinated people are exempted from the compulsory quarantine rules, so will only be going once I am fully vaccinated later in the year.
