I was given option to come write the test,cos i did my preservice there,but i dont think i can make it cos i have NLNG test that day,And will be leaving 4 Zaria 2morrow after my cham Nigeria ltd test 2morrow.So if u wriet the test on Sat,just let us know how it went.Its not hard take care

Kennyblink u are funny oh!Cant you see the date of posting.A post of last year is what u r still interested on.When people see the topic most people think at 1st that its just been posted just becos of ur drive to post anyhow.Its very important u go thruogh a post before replying it important.We are muture here ok!Anyway its well

when i wrote my test.I scored 79,was called for an interveiw,after the one i had at DCC before the test.I met with The Head of HR at Octagon Building in VI (With Miss Fisher herslf,that was last year march oh!)

which of the subsidiary did you applied for,we have 3 of them,The Computer warehouse limited that is involve in hardware,while DCC Networks are involve in the networking part that include ISP and satellite network,Also Expert edge is the software part.
I once wrote there test say last year march,but it was NYSC.I passed any way and given letter to resume at there DCC office in Lekki ,but couldnt make it.Because i couldnt get a redeployment letter from Jigawa to Lagos as i have planned.
The test was like that of GMAT then,However i was not ask of any Computer related question.Not that hard,but you have to be fast.

After i remember i was called for another test,i beleive that time it was for employment.But i couldnt make it cos i did get it in time,and leaving Jigawa fro Lagos wasnt feasible by then.So put you hope in GOD,jack very well the test is a piece of cake okay.GOODLUCK

Seun,am in support of you.I actually got a mail from them too,but not going.If even i am interested it wouldnt work.Do you know why?Am presently in Jigawa to round off my service say 31st.So what would take to Lagos and back in 2days for my POP,should worth it.I dont think this one what am oh!
However no reputable recruitment agency with charged Applicants,Cause it suppose to be a contract stuff with the company that need there services.So any one,i mean any one that charge is a mushroom agency.
My pain now is that a lot of people will fall victim,expecially does that dont have access to such forum like this for an advice oh!
House what do you think,we should do with respect of this type of agencies.Do you know why am optimistic to "Pure sandsand into there gari"I once fall a victim,not actually to a recruitment agency but scholarship agency.You know normal Nigerian will always want a scholarship for sponsorship abroad.The Money sent was not that big say #800,But think of how many people that would have paid that money,enough million for them.Since them ,i have made up my mind to "be a spoiler".

1.1 Spatial ability-Shape matching

Spatial ability questions may test either speed or power. Generally speaking, if the questions involve the manipulation of 2 dimensional objects then they are probably fairly straightforward, but you will be challenged to answer them all in the time you are given.

In this example, you are asked to look at two groups of simple, flat objects and find pairs that are exactly the same size and shape. Each group has about 25 small drawings of these 2-dimensional objects. The objects in the first group are labeled with numbers and are in numerical order. The objects in the second group are labeled with letters and are in random order. Each drawing in the first group is exactly the same as a drawing in the second group. This is very much a speed test as you will be given far more of these questions than you can comfortably answer in the given time. Visual Comparison – Two Dimensional
In these types of question you will be presented with a number of objects only two of which are identical. Once again these are speed questions and you will need to work quickly and attempt to answer as many as possible in the given time

The best strategy for these types of question is to begin with the shape on the left and work through the shapes to the right of it systematically looking for an exact match. If there isn’t one then move on to the second shape and repeat the process. It can be quite difficult to discipline yourself to adopt this systematic approach to these types of question, as you may think that it is quicker just to look at all of the shapes until the answer’ jumps out’ at you. The problem with this is that if the answer doesn’t ‘jump out’ fairly quickly then panic sets in and you usually resort to the systematic approach anyway.

When you are confronted with a large number of similar types of question on a single page, the questions other than the one you are trying to answer can be distracting. You may find that it helps to cover them and concentrate only on the two shapes that you are comparing.

Spatial Ability can be defined as ‘The ability to interpret and make drawings, form mental images, and visualize movement or change in those images.’ Spatial ability tests measure your ability to manipulate shapes in two dimensions or to visualize three-dimensional objects presented as two-dimensional pictures. These tests are usually of 20-40 minutes duration and contain 20-30 questions.

Spatial ability tests often involve the visual assembly and the disassembly of objects that have been rotated or which are viewed from different angles or objects that have different markings on their surfaces.

Spatial Ability - Shape Matching
In these types of question you will be presented with a number of objects only two of which are identical. These are speed questions and you will need to work quickly and attempt to answer as many as possible in the given time. This is slightly more complex than the rotations in the two-dimensional shape matching question.

Spatial Ability - Combining Shapes
These questions show you a series of 2-dimensional shapes. One of the shapes has been ‘cut up’ into pieces. The questions presents you with the pieces and you are asked to work out which of the shapes has been ‘cut up’.

Spatial Ability - Cube Views in 3-Dimensions
These questions show you several (usually 3) views of a 3-dimensional cube with unique symbols or markings on each face and then asks you a question about it. For example, which symbol is on the opposite face?

Spatial Ability - Other Solids in 2 and 3 Dimensions
These questions are similar to the cube questions above, but rather than cubes they use other solid shapes which may be irregular. In some respects, these questions are easier than the cube questions as there are more relationships to work with. In other words, each face of the solid shape has a shape of its own rather than just being square.

Spatial Ability - Maps and Plans
These questions often appear in tests for emergency services, military and law enforcement jobs where the ability to give or follow directions based on a map or street plan is essential.

All spatial ability tests rely on you being able to imagine what would happen in your mind's eye. Unfortunately, about 5% of the adult population find it impossible to imagine two-dimensional shapes being moved through a third dimension. This is thought to be because there is a genetic factor involved in spatial reasoning ability.

Spatial ability is required in production, technical and design jobs where plans and drawings are used, for example; engineering, architecture, surveying and design. However, it is also important in some branches of science where the ability to envisage the interactions of 3 dimensional components is essential.

Hey i dont you need the world to advice you on this.It depends on your Target in Life and plan after your NYSC.What should come to your mind first is whats your Goal?Then what next follows.MBA and MSC are quite Different,Do you want to switch into the Management Line or remain in your Science field?These are question that should come first.
My personal Opinion is why dont you go for your Msc.Then When you are fully in the field you can now apply for a part time in MBA,if you want the management line.This will help you climp up the Ladder of your present job then,which will be your science field.Experience is needed in any field before you are made to manage it.You cant imagine because you are Master holder in Management and hope to be employed as a manager of an Engineering firm or ICT firm.
So it solely depend on what you want for your self.Go and do your homework!
The requirement for master is almost the same everywhere.If you know that of your school,so it also implies with that of Ibadan.Normal A grade of 2.2 ,send all require Document and transcipt to them.Infact i dont need to be say story on this,The internet is at your disposal.Search for Website of UI and get what ever information you need.

Hello any body in the house that was called for this interview.Actually i got to know that very day,So it wasnt possible for me to make it,as i am presently in Jigawa state.My Advice to this people is that they should try calling the contact person and mailing at the same time,cos this should be the 3rd Interview in a roll that am missing 1st is Computer Warehouse and this.
  Am not too border cos when i called the company they nothing can be done.I made up my mind and Give God the Glory cos every thing have a purpose.And what will be will be.
