Please proceed with your statement of result to avoid wasting time as that would suffice. Goodluck! Lunm: Hello! Please help me.
I want to do a WES verification. My statement of result is available, however my MSc certificate is still being processed. Can I start the WES process now or do I have to wait till my certificate is 100% ready, in some weeks?
I have searched past threads, but couldn't find any direct answer to this.
Thanks!! |

REFERENCE LETTER - Had to wait till I had gathered every other document before going to break the news to my boss that I needed a reference letter from him. I had just demanded for a raise in July (after having gotten one earlier in march). I was waiting for ending of August to see if my salary was raised. Salary came, it was raised. So you can imagine having to go and ask for reference letter to japa one month after demanding for a raise.
Anyways, I went and told my boss I wanted to pursue another degree in Canada in 2022 and wondered if he would oblige to stand as a referee for my school application. He said no problem. So I told him that at the same time i was trying to process a residency permit to enable me work while schooling and would need a work reference letter from him (can u imagine such stupid lamba??). Baba said "enheh", I said "ehn". He said "ok, whenever the time comes". Nigga was thinking 2022. One week later I went back and told him baba the time has come. Baba said "ahn ahn, enheh", I said "ahh, ehn". I sha got the reference letter after much much AOR - 12th September 2020

You already answered your question. Keep it simple, you do not need to provide too many details. thedsl: Hi everyone. I have been refused a US Visa before (Tourist Visa). On the part of the form where they asked if I’ve been refused before, please how much information should I give there? In the ‘explain’ part.
The reason for refusal was inability to demonstrate strong ties.
If I go into all of these details and explain everything, will it jeopardize my chances of getting the F1 visa this time around?
Thank you |

Good Day All, please when drafting the reference letter by your employer, who do I address it to or should it be an open letter "To Whom it May Concern"? I'd appreciate your responses.
Thank you. |

Spot On! fairheart: An intellectual with an honest view on a subject would not interpret a statement out of context, but look at it objectively within the context such statement has been used. He quoted a sentence that I used in a context of what I was talking about. More so, look at the example you applied the quote to. Isn't that ridiculous and shows that you just didn't like the quote and not because the quote was invalid or not true? You can't wait for his wife because his wife belong to him; you don't deserve his wife because you have your own wife. Don't be a cheat. If you really think the quote is not necessarily true as much as it sounds nice, give me a better and reasonable example. Your example here is as ridiculous as the way you see the quote.
And that quote was originally mine. |

Whichever way you choose to see things...That's your prerogative TWoods: So if I wait patiently for your wife, it is a sign confirming that I deserve her?
Sorry but I have to laugh at our predilection for thinking every statement that sounds nice is necessarily true. |

Apt!
The ability to "wait" when we can't wait to have what we want, is one of the biggest signs that we actually deserve what we want! |

Bros quit dimming the light/hopes of people with your pessimism. As you don't fit in their shoes. Let those who want to hope keep hoping, it's not a crime. You're not the US Consulate nor CDC/ICE. And mind you anything is possible! Never say Never! Hence, choose to Ignore as you already made your point. slimmy2005: Nigeria wasn’t included in their publication.
They are not opening anytime soon and if they open, F-1 won’t be their priority. Not in this COVID period.
The present administration do not want you around. They had to fight for those that are already in here for them to be able to stay while taking classes online.
You are not coming to US this 2020, the earlier you realize this, the better for you. |

solastar2: Even if you get there today, get infected and die today, it is still better than getting infected in Nigeria. People are bound to die here sef with ot without corona. No social distance, no palliative, no basic amenities, etc. It is better to die for something (education) than to die for nothing in Nigeria. We all understand that there is nothing we can do but we wish things are different. I'm glad America figure is real but the hardest part is that you dont even know whether Nigeria figure is real or not. Every situation is being corrupted regardless of whether life is involve or not. Travel ban or not, these people still travel on daily basis to their desired location (perhaps they have multiple passports).
Please, let those who care not about corona death lament if they want to. As a matter of fact, you dont even know what they are passing through. The way we live here right now (in Lagos) will make you to doubt the existence of corona regardless of what figure is released. Afterall, who die one day with or without corona. |

kastgeraldino: Does one pay a new SEVIS fee if you defer and have to get a new I-20? I know visa fee is not affected for one year. Your SEVIS fee is valid for 1Year. Depends on the session you deferred to, Spring or Fall '21. It remains Valid for the former, not so sure of the Latter. Contact the International Student's Office in your school for more info. |
