From the group, we shall create a facebook group and add up other educated and enlightened Igbo nationalist into the group.

This call is for Igbo nationlist on nairaland. We have plans to create an Igbo patriotic group that will stand for Ndigbo both territorially, culturally, economically and politically.

We've realized that our ethnic group has lost so much grounds due to us not having a powerful voice represent or speak for us. And this has affected us badly. Therefore, your's truly will need like mind to create a new group to spearhead Igbo renaisance. The idea is to create a Facebook group where issues affecting us will be posted from time time. We shall also use the medium to post Igbo history, and also connect Igbo speaking people in the SS and NC with lost heritage back to the fold. The union will be like the defunct Igbo State Union that united our people but one with modern focus. I'm aware we have Igbo history in facebook doing their best, but we need more groups to do reconnect Igbo speaking groups back to the fold.

Therefore we need erudite Igbos to come together as we did when we used facts and intelligence to defend our people in the old times in nairaland. We need a group not built on hate but on togetherness to achieve our aims.

The whole world knows it was a Yoruba president that discovered and appointed Okonjo Iweala, Frank Nweke, Ezekweseli, Dora Akunyili, Soludo and supported at least one Senate president from the SE. First, you blame Daniel Kanu for his ABN support for Abacha and now you’re blaming Humphrey Nwosu a man who risked his life to announce Abiola winner despite threats from IBB. It’s quite a shame. But yet you have continued to absolve fellow Yoruba’s who supported that Annulment.

You are hitting hard on the Igbos who didn’t influence that annulment nor did were they party to Abacha’s regime, leaving the following Yoruba’s who were directly active in the whole fiasco.

1. Ernest Shonekan — Interim Head of Government appointed by IBB to rule the country after the annulment.

2. General Oladipo Diya — Vice to Abacha who took part in the arrest and killing of NADECO chieftains.

3. General Adisa — Chief of Army staff under Abacha

4. Ebenezar Babatope — who served as minister under Abacha and a host of other Yoruba’s who stood with Abacha.

Even Shonekan himself announced MKO as his Vice and other Yoruba’s into his cabinet. But MKO didn’t accept it and went behind to collabo with his friend Abacha to remove Shonekan, going as far as nominating ministers for Abacha, against the advice of his loyalists.

Abiola won Anambra state and got over 40% of votes in the remaining 3 states. To the NRC of which Sylvester Ugoh was running mate, it was seen as a poor showing by the SE to their son. Before you point accusing fingers on the SE. Ask yourself some sincere questions. If the table were turned, will the Yoruba’s give an Igboman their votes against their own brothers party?

Let’s say Sylvester Ugoh was the southerner in the ballot of the SDP Presidential flag and Abiola was the VP for the NRC, will the Yoruba’s give Ugoh even 5% of their votes. What the hell is the government doing? The aim of the shut down is to curtail the spread, but it has helped to spread it more. No education, no social distancing.
