This is exactly my story. My nursery 3 teacher really dealt with me..

I was forced too but I didn't succumb though I can write with my right hand but it will be slow and the handwriting will be like a primary school pupil's own

Have you ever been told by people who are not lefties that your right hand looks like their left hand when you are doing something using right? Because once in a while people do tell me my right hand looks like their left hand

according to my mum, i was forced to learn how to write with my right hand with cane o! She should have just let me be. As old as I Am, if i do anything with my left hand especially cooking , mum still scolds me. My hubby doesn't have a problem with it sha.

I don't know if you always have the experience of people scolding you or complain if you use left hand to give them something or do something they think it's etiquette to use right. There was a day I almost beat up a girl in her mama's shop because I tried to take things I wanted to buy with my left hand and the way she tried to correct me sounded so rude, she said " Ẹ jọ́ ẹ má fí ọwọ́ òsì mú ọjà jàre" and I became angry

I know this because I am a victim. I use left leg, but right hand for other purposes. But when I play drum set, I use left hand.

my parents tried to make me stop using left they did everything they could but I couldn't use right hand as much as effective as my left hand .. I use left hand to everything except eating

(6)THE RIGHT HANDED WRITING DESK:I cant remember seeing a left handed writing desk;a left handed person really has to be creative and innovative to use a write handed writing desk in class

lol... The first time I used this desk I placed my book on an empty desk in my left but later I learned how to use it when there's no empty seat. What I do is shift and sit diagonally and place on the desk and start writing.

oau is not a strange place to me I've been to oau couple of times before, I'm not denying the fact that oau has a beautiful campus

I like teaching in fact I enjoy teaching, I've taught all levels of education from kindergarten, nursery and primary, Jss and Sss, jamb and post jamb students even till my mates in the University but I don't think I want to take teaching as a career maybe as a university lecturer sha.. Only God knows tomorrow

In light of the terrorist attacks over the years and the one that just occurred at the University of Maiduguri, I urge ALL well meaning Muslims to begin looking into bringing about the reformation of Islam as a religion. Here are some suggestions that I have. Please, do not see any of these suggestions as an attack on Islam. This is just my own effort at trying to look for solutions for a problem that has tarnished the image of Muslims not only in Nigeria but all over the world. So a few suggestions are:

1. Eliminate Madrasas. These schools have served as a breeding ground to brainwash children. Some of these brainwashed children can then grow up to be terrorists. Muslim children should be sent to normal schools were they learn English, Arithmetic, reasoning and logic. This will equip them to think critically as adults not only about religion but also about politics and world events.

2. Declare some parts of the Quran and Hadith as haram: Some parts of the scriptures are just plainly wrong. For example, the command to kill those who do not believe in Islam. Christians used to have a similar problem with the Old Testament and they were able to solve it by placing their attention on the New Testament. If something similar can be done in Islam it will go a long way to help address this issue of radicalization.
