That 65k sef, some are struggling to pay, and you people are still planning to increase it, either 80k, 150k or 350k, just want you people to know that all hands are not equal, and not everybody can afford such amount, if they think increasing the school fees is the best solution to the problem LAUTECH is facing they are completely wrong, 'cos they will rather loose many students, 'cos i believe many students which are fresher or 100l or even 200l might decide to write another jamb and choose another school in which i'm one of them, if at all they increase the school fees, and again less people will choose them in jamb....anyway this my thought tho'.....just #ReOpenLautechWithoutIncreasingOurSchoolFees

what do you now suggest they do? The main reason why you are at home is because the governments of the two states are having financial crisis especially osun they can't pay the staff of the institution, though I'm not really in support of it but will you choose to remain at home till the economic of the country improves (which is not sure will be anytime soon) and they are buoyant to continue financing the school

abi electrical engineering is the same as electrical and electronic engineering.
all am saying in essence that if you are studying agric and bio resource engineering for instance you will still take @ least 3 or more course than the ordinary agric guy

In forestry, you will cover environmental management (deforestation and afforestation etc)

You also cover climate science in any form of meterology

it's still not the same because you can't tell me plant biotechnology covers other aspects of biotechnology, same way you can't say medicine and surgery is the same as health science

Let me give you examples, some schools offer agricultural engineering as agricultural engineering and bioresource engineering (its the same thing they do)

Some schools offer botany as plant science and biotechnology (its the sane thing)

Some offer forestry as forestry and environmental management ( its the same thing)

its sound stupid to me to be studying meterology and climate science when meteorology as a course covers the word "climate science"

plant science and botany maybe same thing but not with biotechnology, biotechnology is a different thing entirely

Forestry and forest management maybe same thing but not with environmental management, environmental management is different from forest management

What futa offers is metereology and climate science as a department is different from agrometereology that funaab does
