I thought I had heard it all but nah you actually managed to surprise me. Let me put it real simple to you: you are a fool, an eediot, a bleeping addict who just won't quit. What are you a slowpoke? Have you forgotten you're not a kid? How can you let yourself be used and abused, repeatedly! Then you come to me and whine. If I didn't love you like a sister and you didn't live so far I would have whooped your behind so bad no man will ever pay your bride price and you would deserve it too. angry I'm not even mad at the sadist,I'm mad at you who decided to be a masochist. Ay ay ay! You better not come near me right now or I'll have you committed and recommended for brain transfer and this time I'll ensure you gt the brain of an adult. You buggering fool.

One good did come out of this rant, the headache is gone tongue

LiteratureRe: My Book Of Rants! by Ejadamen(f): 9:44am On Oct 29, 2010
Now look what you made me do! angry I thought we had an agreement, then you bring temptation my way. Only a fool would attempt to chase a rat away with cheese. Now you're giving me sly looks like I did something wrong? Think again. I definitely do not need the guilt. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why would you that? Now I'm mad at you. I'm so pissed that I woke up with a bleeping headache that won't go away! I would like to smack you till you're on your knees begging for my forgiveness. I deserve more than that self-righteous attitude you put up and I will show you.
I'm also mad at time, you move to slow. I've got smirks to slap off people's faces, people to shock,my agenda to complete and you're dragging your feet? Move along time,I'm tired of waiting for you.
Stupid headache! angry

Razenvord,me thinks we live in the same city. When you find the nitwit who decided to make such a location blunder lemme know. I have special evil plans for such nitwits.

lol, yeah they need to start seeing things more clearly

Me too! my scalp is so clean and fresh now, I used to have dandruff problem but ever since I went natural it's been history, I'm sure the fact that I now use only natural products helped a lot.
I'm curious,what natural products?

SA Goddess:
I also had a dandruff problem and no amount of treatment would help the situation and now my sculp is clean, those relaxers/chemicals are bad for real.

I just need some inspiration to get through this not so nice stage of my journey, I am beginning to look like a village girl, hair not long enough for plaiting/braiding and not short enough to look cute cheesy I use the scrubbing brush to "comb" it but even that is not going according to plan, it's better on weekends because I don't have to comb but can do rough and still look good! Can't wait to get past this stage but I will be patient!
You're funny. Try to enjoy this stage cos when the hair gets longer, you'll remember this stage wistfully. I'm loving every part of my hair growth. I just ignore the stares and move on.

mightlove:
hello Modath: i am really impressed with your excercise regime and progressive weight loss. I wish i could do it. I used to be an excercise freak before i got married but don seem to have the time now cos of the responsibilities i have - taking care of a baby (had him this year), a husband and am a woking wife/mother. Its really been difficult for me. I really want to start again cos i have gained sooooooooo much weight. Please, those of you that are working wives/mothers, how do you d it please? I am thinking of getting a treadmill soon. What is your advice and does anyone know where i can get a treadmill in Abuja at a good price.
@Modath, Romeo, ejadamen, sammie --------------------. good to meet you all in this section. I need all your input.
Hi mightlove,I'm not working presently so I have no tip other than to say try to plan your time so that you can have at least 40mins 3 times a week to exercise. You can make healthier food choices by watching what you buy and cook.

SA Goddess:
YEP, soon migrating from brush to comb  cheesy

I am definitely going to start co washing then, thanks for the tip  I can imagine it being soft and moisturised nicely. . . . . . how often do you wash your hair then?
I try to co-wash my hair 3 times a week but most times I end up co-washing it twice a week. I shampoo my hair once a month.
FashionRe: ***Hair For African Women*** by Ejadamen(f): 2:31pm On Oct 22, 2010
Good for you SA! I look at my hair and wonder why have I maltreated it all this time. Migrating from brush to comb? shocked I'm looking for a giant comb for my hair now.

Oh an have you ever tried co-washing? Washing hair with just conditioner? It's really nice and doesn't strip the hair of oils as much as shampoo does. I recommend co-washing if you're going to be washing your hair that often.

@ iice, thanks wink. I'm very cautious with my hair. I have actually never ever colored it shocked. I'll give this henna a try while my hair is still short,if I can find it.

@ Oyinda, you'll most likely do it before I do so I'll wait for your report.
FashionRe: Black Hair Does Grow. Let's Prove It! by Ejadamen(f): 10:21pm On Oct 20, 2010
Thanks iice and naija_diva. I'm now dubious of henna. Permanent color shocked What happens when I'm tired of it? I know cut the hair but I hope not to take a scissors near my hair ever!

iice:
Just rinse your hair thoroughly when you first apply it, coz it will stain your pillowcases.
My mother uses henna. . .You can mix tea or wine to enhance the reddish tint.
So rinsing thoroughly after first application will ensure my pillow cases don't get stained? Just want to be very clear.

browncocos:
hi ladies,
I am new on this thread
and just want to add that for those that want to dye their hair theres a natural alternative,
henna
henna by itself might give you an auburn result
and if you want jet black hair
mix henna and indigo
they are both completely natural
and makes your hair stronger as opposed to artificial dyes
I have been asking and no one has answered me,please when one uses henna does it wash off with each hair wash? I'm wondering if it will stain my pillow if I use it?
