The Question is this how come Nupe are considered to be Hausas when they don't speak Hausa, how come Gwari are considered as Hausas when they don't speak Hausa.
Bauchi alone as a State has 78 different languages.

I remember coming in contact with a Young Man, a native of Katsina who told me he isn't an Hausa neither a Fulani and I was shocked.

I repeat again Hausa is just a language spoken even in Sudan and Eritrea nothing more than that. The only sad part of it is that many northerners have lost their ethnicity and originality to the invasion of the Berbers who came in to establish the Hausa and Fulani kingdom

First there isn't actually a tribe called Hausa, it's only a language spoken in 14 African Countries. The north has upward of 400 Languages and Ethnic groups, Fulani is one of the minority few. For their agenda to flourish they had to lump up Hausa and Fulani and thereby appoint Fulanis as Emirs for the sake of power broking

Large scale farming is easier in the North.

It is difficult to find large stretches of flat land in the SW. Our lands are punctuated by ancient gullies and valleys left behind by long-diasppeared streams and rivers. Then you have forests with large trees.

Big farm machinery don't work well in this sort of environment.

In the North you have flat lands that go on for several kilometres without obstruction.
