After going back and forth with his former band mate on social media, former Plantashun Boiz singer Blackface still seems to be holding onto grudges of time past Blackface still seems to have some scores to settle with former mate Tubaba Idibia. Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo who is otherwise known as Blackface, shared a long post on his Instagram page announcing his plans to drop a new album. Some of his followers were not impressed and didn’t hesitate to tell him to quit making music and focus on other important things. Someone actually asked him to go and meet Tubaba and ask him for help, a line which Blackface was not happy to hear. Here’s what he posted below: “I came into this game when the industry had no face, with respect to all other musicians and melody makers I listened to before I started creating mine,I brought in the faces (you know there names already )that was going to create a spark in the Nigerian music scene to make other youths know that you can be whatever you set your heart out to be with determination and hard work as nothing in life is a handout. The plantashun boiz was a dream that didn’t actually come to be as the dream was cut short as we never went international even though our music did and our style was embraced by so many music lovers, but you all know the story..maybe maybe someday me and my former members might do a song or a project but that remains for the gods to decide as it is as friends have become foes in these times. My journey has been the rough one and am glad for all the tragedies I passed through over the past years cos that made me stronger and value life more than I did initially when I had all the spotlight on me and my crew Trybunalz working making music day in day out for the fans,we were in almost every club, stage ,and anywhere there was a live microphone and a DJ to give us beats and we thrilled fans as that’s what we did for a living, entertain, Until sabotage started by greedy ones who will pay radio DJs not to play our music cos we were a threat to their music as even their fans were jumping to #AheadOfTheGame and they didn’t like that.. Some so called pioneers in the radio and TV won’t play our music either cos they were part of a so called #Cabal but that hadn’t changed anything as this #Rasta only became stronger while those they support and adhere to their demands start to run out of ideas and resort to stealing our old materials from released albums and yet to be recorded songs to make their own music so all along I been competing with myself and the #saboteurs… 5 years with no album out I am back in their face again #Killah made dem think like…”ah ah I thought we finished him already”… I laugh but the saga must continue. The Album #Defender is just around the corner and dem don sing am before say #Somethingwanttohappen and #thealbumDefender is it..#BFN” When asked by a fan to go and get help from Tubaba, here’s what Blackface said: “Lol! na for court I go meet 2face no be for help ….nonsense #creepyagent” Blackface was in the news recently when he accused Wizkid of stealing his songs. https://www.naij.com/857230-blackface-trying-sue-tuface-read-said.html

We'll get you one. Among the 8 shapes, select the one your heart soooo desires? Select 9 for customized nose. kenkenny55: |
It does sound weird, but it is actually true! Your nose’s shape says a lot about your character. This result is argued by Professor Abraham Tamir, from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel. The results of his study have been published in the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery. Here we will introduce the 8 different nose forms and their special character properties: The Nubian nose: The Nubian form distinguishes itself primarily through its length. The bridge is almost straight while the wide point of the nose points downwards. People with this nose shape are supposedly curious and inquisitive. They are optimistic and often try to accommodate others. They are likeable and always look for a solution for every problem. The Greek nose: Its name comes from the sculptures of the Greek antiquity. Most of them were given this nose by the artists. The shape distinguishes itself through its narrow length and straightness. Owners of this nose are reserved and do not like being the center of attention. They are very practical and loyal. It is difficult for them to talk openly about feelings and are considered withdrawn. The hooknose Many compare this nose shape with a bird’s beak. It is bent from the base of the nose bone to the tip. People with this nose are creative and self-sacrificing. They defend their beliefs passionately and are not afraid to take risks to reach their goals. The arched nose Similar to the hooknose, the concave nose is curved from the nasal bone until the tip. However, the tip is considerably more pointed. Whoever possesses a concave nose is considered more determined. They are closely connected with their work and are good at organizational work. The button nose The button nose is very short and looks almost dainty. It is the most popular of all forms because it is not so conspicuous. Owners of the button nose are often very spontaneous in their decisions which often annoys other people. They are strong-minded and prefer to get down to business. They are also determined and often get what they want. The straight nose This nose form is most common in Asia. It is straight and a bit flatter than most of the other forms. Its nostrils are wide and the tip is round. People with a straight nose have a strong character. They are very temperamental and passionate. If you try their patience they get very angry. The concave nose This nose from has a small arch on the nose bone. It is not particularly conspicuous since the entire form looks somewhat petite. People whose noses have this shape are often generous and always ready to help others who are having problems. Due to their sensible side, these people are often easily offendable or hurt. The crooked nose Even if the name isn’t particularly flattering, this nose form means a loving character. The bridge of the nose stands out while the tip is very rounded. People with crooked noses are very tuned into what they do. They are good listeners, making them wonderful friends or partners. They put a lot of emphasis on being down-to-earth.

Born in Igboland and sold as a slave to a Bonny trader at the age of twelve, he was named Jubo Jubogha by his first master. He was later sold to Chief Alali, the head of the Opubo Annie Pepple Royal House. Called Jaja by the British, this gifted and enterprising individual eventually became one of the most powerful men in the eastern Niger Delta. The Niger Delta, where the Niger empties itself into the Gulf of Guinea in a system of intricate waterways, was the site of unique settlements called city-states. From the fifteenth to the eighteenth century, Bonny, like the other city-states, gained its wealth from the profits of the slave trade. Here, an individual could attain prestige and power through success in business and, as in the case of Jaja, a slave could work his way up to head of state. The House was a socio-political institution and was the basic unit of the city-state. In the nineteenth century—after the abolition of the slave trade in 1807—the trade in slaves was supplanted by the trade in palm oil, which was so vibrant that the region was named the Oil Rivers area. The Houses in Bonny and other city-states controlled both the internal and external palm oil trade because the producers in the hinterland were forbidden to trade directly with the Europeans on the coast; the Europeans never left the coast for fear of malaria. Astute in business and politics, Jaja became the head of the Anna Pepple House, extending its activities and influence by absorbing other houses, increasing operations in the hinterland and augmenting the number of European contacts. A power struggle ensued among rival factions in the houses at Bonny leading to the breakaway of the faction led by Jaja. He established a new settlement, which he named Opobo. He became King Jaja of Opobo and declared himself independent of Bonny. Strategically located between Bonny and the production areas of the hinterland, King Jaja controlled trade and politics in the delta. In so doing, he curtailed trade at Bonny and fourteen of the eighteen Bonny houses moved to Opobo. In a few years, he had become so wealthy that he was shipping palm oil directly to Liverpool. The British consul could not tolerate this situation. Jaja was offered a treaty of "protection", in return for which the chiefs usually surrendered their sovereignty. After Jaja's initial opposition, he was reassured, in vague terms, that neither his authority nor the sovereignty of Opobo would be threatened. Jaja continued to regulate trade and levy duties on British traders, to the point where he ordered a cessation of trade on the river until one British firm agreed to pay duties. Jaja refused to comply with the consul's order to terminate these activities, despite British threats to bombard Opobo. Unknown to Jaja, the Scramble for Africa had taken place and Opobo was part of the territories allocated to Great Britain. This was the era of gunboat diplomacy, where Great Britain used her naval power to negotiate conditions favorable to the British. Lured into a meeting with the British consul aboard a warship, Jaja was arrested and sent to Accra, where he was summarily tried and found guilty of "treaty breaking" and "blocking the highways of trade". He was deported to St. Vincent, West Indies and four years later, he died en route to Nigeria after he was permitted to return. Ironically, Jaja's dogged insistence on African independence and effective resistance exposed British imperialism and made him the first victim of foreign territorial intrusion in West Africa. The fate of Jaja reverberated through the entire Niger delta. Amazed at this turn of events, the other delta chiefs quickly capitulated. In addition, the discovery of quinine as the cure for malaria enabled the British traders to bypass the middlemen and deal directly with the palm oil producers, thus precipitating the decline of the city-states. King Jaja's downfall ensured a victory for British supremacy, paving the way.
