RomanceRe: Why Do Only Broke Men Approach Me For Marriage? by ekefre4(m): 6:21pm On May 05, 2016
mizlolar:
Please i need ur help. Am having challenges in area of relationship. I have the problem of ending up with men who are nothing but gold diggers. They seem good from the start but before a few months, they will turn into pests.

I dont know what is responsible for this. I just need a man who ll love me on the basis of who i am not what i have. I am from a well to do family, I am the only daughter of my parents and my dad is late, I actually inherited quite a lot and initially it seemed like a blessing until I got older.

All the Guys i ve met so far re fake displaying fake love just to get hold of what is in my possession. I will give you a little insight so you can understand what I am going tru. Around 2013, my then fiance kidnapped himself and because i already knew he was too needy and then their was a lot of inconsistencies in the story so i ignored the kidnappers who were demanding for 700k ransom. The guys showed up 2 weeks later fuming without any injuries or even shedding any weight

He was ranting and saying all sorts like how wicked i was and how i abandoned him to die. I had to break it off immediately because he was beginning to sound like i was his mother and father joined together. The next relationship went quite the same way.

The guy sold my car and came up with stories of how he was robbed at onipanu by palm-grove. unfortunately for him, i had a tracker which had its own inbuilt battery, so when they disconnected the car battery thinking they have disabled the tracker, they gaffed. the car was subsequently tracked down to shagamu at a hotel managed by his cousin. these are just the few recent ones.

There are many more experiences that i wouldn’t bother you with but I am tired. the worst is that some will even want to move in with me because of the comfort of my place. Its really frustrating. My mum said i should stop driving but its nearly impossible for me to get around lagos without a car.

I simply stopped using the big cars and got a Toyota matrix and i even had to drive myself so it dosnt look like i am the one attracting the wrong men and scaring away the good ones yet i haven’t been lucky.

I am not looking for a millionaire, I just want a man with a little dignity and value not the ones who will start demanding for loans or come up with stories within months of how their visa was stuck or how their mother was diabetic and needed money for blood transfusion. I have heard a lot of such stories and i am tired.

I dont know if my mum is right that i am scaring away the right ones with my lifestyle. Honestly, i dont even live flamboyantly neither do I club. I am in my early 30’s and i really need to settle down.

Plz help me with ideas on how to stop attracting gold digging shameless men. As at now, 4 guys re on my neck including head of admin in my firm but they are all my subordinates and I don’t want a scandal. Thank u.

Please advice. I don't need abuse from you guys... Thanks
just b urself n don't b desperate u will meet a nice guy.

This is not the solution. True federalism should b practiced and also Local Governments should be on their own so developments can reach the grassroots. This sharing of money is making some states lazy about improving their IGR.

Naturally, most Southern Nigerians would want the 36 states collapsed into 'zones' or regions. The North will be against it because it will end their political domination of Nigeria. But as an Igbo man, what I'm sceptical against is what the zones will look like, particularly in the area sometimes called SS/SE. I want know what happens to Igbo elements such Igbos of the lower Benue, Delta Igbos, Rivers Igbos and the Abi Igbo speaking people of Cross River. I also want to know if the Efik/Ibibio nation and the Ijaw/Edoid people can actually be in one zone or are they going to be two separate zones or would they prefare to join their Igbo neigbours as one zone? These questions need answering and that is why a referendum has to be conducted before the creation of any zone so that the people can decide which zone they want to belong to.
Well i can answer 1 of your questions. The efik/ibibio people will neva agree to join the igbos in one zone

PoliticsMilitants Warn President Buhari, calls For Sovereign National Conference by ekefre4(op): 10:27pm On Apr 25, 2016
The Niger Delta Avengers, a new militant group in the oil-rich Niger Delta region, have called on the federal government to hold a national conference that would allow Nigerian citizens to vote on whether or not the country should be divided into four self-governing regions. The militants issued a press release outlining their reasons for supporting a division of Nigeria and an independent Niger Delta while threatening to cripple the national economy if their demands are not met.

NIGERIA IS A FAILED ENTITY

The recent happenings in the country is clear eye opener to how the Nigerian state has derailed and its heading to nowhere. A country where those in power over look the main reasons why they were voted into power. That has showed how self centered and selfish the people we look up to as leaders in the country.

When they (politicians) are elected or appointed into any political office. Their primary aim is to enrich themselves and influence infrastructural projects to their region. Clear example is the present administration where Fulani herdsmen whom are the kinsmen of President Buhari are above the law despite the killing and atrocities they have committed against farmers in the south and middle belt but the president can give a shoot on sight directive to military against the peaceful protest of the Indigenous people of Biafra. Other one is the 2016 budget where nearly all the major projects are channeled to the North even though the creeks of the Niger delta are in dear need of development to improve the standard of living.

The allocation of mining license is other crime this country is committing against its Niger Deltans. Where 80% of the oil blocs are allocated to northerners and the rest 20% is spread among the Easterners and westerners. THIS IS A CRIME AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF THE NIGER DELTA.

The duty of the Nigeria military is to protect Territorial integrity of Nigeria but instead the reverse is the case, Where politicians use them (Military) as thugs. Clear example is the Bayelsa state governorship election, River state federal and state house of Assembly election. Where soldiers and other security agencies are more interested in the money given to them by the politicians. As a result whenever there is change in the military high command instead of them to focus on their duty all they do is to joggle or make their way to Niger Delta region to make money for themselves and then forgetting their primary duty. Most of the top ranked military officers in this country are billionaires because they are out to make money for themselves by interweaving themselves with pipeline vandals and crude oil thieves.

After looking at all these injustices and devilish acts going on in Nigeria the Niger Delta Avengers concludes that nobody is loyal to this entity called Nigeria instead, we are insisting that the entity called Nigeria should break up and lets the South, East, West and North be govern by their own.

Immediate past president Jonathan Goodluck is the only leader who believes in the unity of the Nation. He was deceived that the entity called Nigeria can be still be saved. He wasn’t after channeling infrastructural projects to his people the Niger Deltans despite they are in dead need of infrastructural and human capital development. A man who was there to serve, he wasn’t after his own people but for the betterment and togetherness of this country Nigeria. If President Buhari can emulate the nationalist ideology of his predecessor, which we know is impossible because the shoe is too big for him. The nation won’t be having economic crisis, there won’t be pipeline vandalism, and our best brains won’t be seeking greener pasture oversees.

The present administration infringe on the fundamental human rights of its citizens with impunity with no respect for the constitution of the country. What kind of government treats her citizens like that?

The present administration has no respect for the constitution of the federation and run the country as if we in military regime. No freedom of speech, incarceration of innocent citizens and those against the government policies in the name of fighting corruption.

The Niger Delta has been neglected for more than 50 years which gave birth to the arm struggle in the region but after the proclamation of the presidential amnesty to all agitators by President Umaru Musa Yara- duha little or none has been done about the Niger delta in terms of human capital development, infrastructural development, youth empowerment/educational infrastructure. The truth is, nothing has been done about the Niger delta. Niger Delta Development commission (NDDC) that has the statutory mandate to develop the region is cash cow for the northerner and their southern political counterparts. The Niger delta region to the Nigerian government is like forbidding region as stated by one of our own, the minister of transportation Rotimi Amaechi. That no parents will send their ward to school in the Niger Delta. A reason why the President Buhari led Administration cancelled the Nigeria Maritime University Okerenkoko. Forgetting university of Port Harcourt he graduated from is sited in the Niger Delta. He is from a poor background like most other Niger Deltans but was able to attend university because it was sited in his community so why depriving other people from the region to benefit like he did? What a shame!

After a critical analysis and evaluation of the present happenings we come to a conclusion that, despite the president’s age and his cluelessness, he should call for a sovereign national conference. Where citizens from all regions will part take freely and decides whether the entity Nigeria should remain or break up WITHOUT PULLING A TRIGGER.

There was a country called Nigeria that was put together by Sir Lord Luggard but that country died since 1966 and since then what we have is a divided country that is under the control of watch of greedy and self-centered persons.

The Niger delta avengers high command, which comprises of agitators from all ethnic groups in the Niger Delta, has concluded that if the president fails to hear our voice and refuse to call for the sovereign national conference. We will ensure its happens or we will employ our second option by crippling the economy of the country. We won’t stop at that but dead ready to take the fight out of the creeks and take it to cities like Abuja, Lagos, Calabar, Port Harcourt just to name a few. And Avengers are not interested in taking innocent lives, but we will defend territory and ourselves .

To our brothers in the Nigeria Military we can still welcome you back home with open arms but don’t think we will spare you if you attack us.

To the United State and all permanent members of the United Nation security councils, you don’t have to wait for Syria and Libya to happen before you intervene since Nigeria is already a failed state.

To all multinationals operating in the Niger delta the harms you have done to the region with your flaring, spillage and enslaving of the people enough is enough. We want you to have a rethink and do the right thing.

The Niger Delta Avengers are not Boko Haram, we are not ISIS. All we are asking for is a better living for the people of the Niger Delta and self-determination that is to govern ourselves. We will soon raise our flag and name our interim ruling Council.

We are calling on all Nigerians to come out and support this cause.

How long will we take all this injustice? Everybody has a breaking point and believe me the breaking point of majority of Nigerians is coming soon. Nothing is working. No light. No fuel. No work. Some people who don't even know what the bill is about will come here and start spewing trash. To me the bill I very necessary. Imagine staying in a neighbourhood where a church will be making noise throughout the night that you are unable to sleep. Imagine being woken up every morning by the speakers from the mosque. We Nigerians just lack tolerance and we fail to see that 90% of the problem we have in this country can be attributed to religion. If it were left for me there will be nothing like morning devotions in our schools. Just look @ what happened in Osun state. It's just pathetic

PoliticsRe: El-rufai’s Religious Bill In Kaduna ‘absolutely Wrong’ – Senator Shehu Sani by ekefre4(m): 9:17am On Apr 11, 2016
Chiefpriest1:
About this bill, I think people should learn to separate politics from what is rational.

I consider myself a Christian, so I cannot support anything that would hurt those who believe in the gospel of christ.

I 've gone through the bill and apart from a little fine-tuning that it needs, I really don't think it's a bad one.

Some quick questions:

1. How many of you enjoy churches or mosques that are almost making you go insane in your area? Sometimes, it's just 5 members inside a cubicle making your life unbearable.

2. Is the bill only for christians?

3. How much do you like islamic preachers or pastors that preach hate.

4. Shouldn't religion be a private endeavour? Why should a muslim loudspeaker wake me up by 5am or a Christian vigil keep me awake all night.

5. Do you know how many Nigerians with dreams of a brighter future have been sent to their early graves as a result of hate sermons.

Ps: I have my reservations about the licensing thing because it can be abused, though it's not even the government that's doing the licensing.

I believe that there has to be a way of curbing the excesses of these zealots, but dont hate that bill because you hate el-rufai.

By the way, the senator is a political arch-enemy of el-rufai, so must know where he's coming from. Let's not always follow the crowd
God bless u my brother. Let them keep politicizing everything. I'm a Christian also but believe when I tell u that the major cause of problem in Nigeria is religion. We bring it into everything. It's not just right. Look @ what hapnd in Osun State some years back because we brought religion into schools. I just tire 4 some people sha
